2mch: One thing these people don't understand is Yoruba culture. We are all traceable by family or compound names. No one can just come and say you are Yoruba.
not only family and compound names, but also lineage.

people are confusing internet/nl yoruba with real yoruba.

like the one who posted a picture of a ghanan in kente cloth and said because he saw the photo on a site titled yoruba, therefore the kente man is yoruba.

what logic. undecided

others then followed suit and started lambasting their mothers.

Food › Re: Types Of Low Fat Nigerian Foods by tpia5: 4:29pm On May 12, 2012
a low fat stew would probably have minimal or no oil.

you have to check what the recommended daily amount of oil is per day, and work within those limits.

you could also use garden egg instead of regular stew, i suppose.

Celebrities › Re: Wow Would You Do This?? Facebook Founder Renounces Us Citizenship! by tpia5: 4:13pm On May 12, 2012
i dont think 99.9% of nigerians would do this, though funny enough I checked the list and did find a nigerian name there.

as per the facebook founder, it seems he moved to the US in 1993 or so [not sure], got the citizenship around 1996, and since he's so rich, i guess he doesnt need it.

he's originally from brazil.

Romance › Re: Stop Disrespecting Nigerian Women!!! by tpia5:
kind of a hypocritical thread, if you ask me.

when there are nigerian women encouraging others to disrespect nigerian women, then why wont we see boldfaced ne'er do wells opening senseless threads everywhere.

you have nigerian women who will tell you- oh, i'm the big banana, have no problem in relationship and never will (or vice versa), will ever be on top, can never do wrong, all the guys and girls worship me, and for those who dont, i have my minions to deal with them, blah blah blah and all manner of jive- and then they instigate f.ools to launch attacks on others, feeling as long as they themselves arent the ones being attacked, nothing is wrong.

in any case, the op himself is guilty of his own accusations, end of.

according to wiki, court wigs only got phased out in 2008, in the UK, and most likely the other countries will follow suit as well.

poster

the problem i have with your thread is: as late as last year, you were worried your boyfriend had an std, yet you still didnt use protection? huh

was it because:

1. nobody on the thread you opened advised you to use any

2. you didnt know about protection even though you knew about std and hiv

3. you werent worried or afraid

4. it was a fake thread [this one nko?]

5. you enjoyed the s.ex too much

6. some other explanation.

7. he said he was cured, or didnt have an std

8. one or more of the above

i'm still at a loss- maybe you can fill those of us who are puzzled, in.
