protruding tummy doesnt mean someone is pregnant.

there are other signs, symptoms and tests which combined together, are the most definitive diagnosis.

anytime you have supernatural confabulatory attachments to your pregnancy stories (eg the one you just posted), please dont expect everyone to suspend their common sense simply because you want them to.
Health › Re: No Blood Flow After Childbirth! by tpia5: 7:43pm On May 18, 2012
most likely she wasnt pregnant to begin with.

dbisiback: No sir i dont fancy anyone on NL, it is not a fake thread. Thanks anyway and as for accepting Jesus into my life thanks as well, i have Him in my life since i was a girl.
so what exactly is your problem here, and what do you want nlers to do for you?

what kind of advice are you seeking from the majority godless people that are found on this site?

thread sounds fake, imo.

may God forgive you.
Health › Re: Federal Doctors In Lagos Begin Solidarity Strike For Sacked Colleagues by tpia5: 7:27pm On May 18, 2012
i think this kind of situation has happened before.

was there a time when a lot of cuban doctors were hired due to a standoff between the govt and striking health staff- i seem to remember someone telling me this, but i'm not really sure.

anyway, @ topic

all parties involved need to reach some kind of agreement and consider the fact that its the common man who is at the receiving end.

Health › Re: Sacked Lagos State Doctors Head To Court by tpia5: 8:08pm On May 16, 2012
as far as my opinion goes, the practice of medicine (or trying to nail someone's practice) in nigeria is like attempting to throw a cat on it's back.

No matter which way you manouver it, or how hard you try, just cant be done- it will still land on it's feet.

for most of these doctors, its all about opportunity- closing one door simply helps them open another.

though those positions with the lagos state govt are lucrative and highly coveted ones, but we'll see how it all pans out.

whoever wants to travel abroad should travel sha, and see what their colleagues are "enjoying" there.

I only try to bring awareness to what goes on in western world when it comes to perception of Nigerians.
they never listen.

what you described at work is nothing new when you are within a certain age range and hold an american passport. Its even worse when you're nigerian and they're sniffing all around your nose looking for a nigerian accent. Woe betide you if you dont have one. undecided

People should keep deceiving themselves saying the person on the receiving end is the one with the problem.

anyway, i firmly believe in the yoruba proverb which says everybody lo ma ri ere ise owo e.

some things just will never change. undecided

as for perception of the western world/whoever about nigerians- it makes them feel good about themselves i suppose.

@ poster.

if you're wearing a weave and engaged to be married, imo your guy should have even helped you loosen the weaveon before marriage. At least one time, preferably more than once.

coogar and co

abeg stop putting mouth in things you have no knowledge of, just because you're hoping to get a visa through some female from wherever.

most of you have no idea what people go through in the US, especially if you have a US passport and were born there.

I've pointed this out many times but of course nobody wants to admit there could be an actual, govt sanctioned, steady effort to frustrate and harass such people. And other blacks specialize in kissing any white or non-nigerian asss they see, while reserving every bit of bile in their body, for nigerians- especially the nigerians who carry a US passport. Believe it or not- that's your own problem.

the least you can do is just keep your mouth shut instead of belittling others when they try to voice their experiences.

this is why i always laugh when i hear nigerians complaining about their accent- saying the accent is being made fun of or blah blah blah.

what many of you dont understand is what that accent is saving you from.

omode o mogun on pe lefo. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided
