if anyone is referring to the list of names earlier in the thread, i doubt they werent also relatively recent introductions, going by the structure. |
NRC should focus more on haulage. I would imagine that haulage would be more profitable than passengertrue talk. at least until they get better mileage. |
yahoo news said efcc website was hacked by elements claiming they're protesting govt censorship of the internet? ![]() it's back up now though, when i checked. http://news.yahoo.com/hackers-hit-nigeria-anti-fraud-agency-website-145409086.html |
You confused me with that "m" you have in your monikeroh, right. very confusing, i agree. |
But if the general consensus seems to be you should confront your parents and iron out the whole story, then try not to let it be more than one time although that might be difficult and its also likely other family members will have to get involved. |
I agree- you shouldnt let the matter take up too much of your life. Some things are very difficult to change but if your dad told you he loves you then i think you should take his words at face value and not keep digging further to find reasons why you think he doesnt. As per calling- true its nice to have family interested in your welfare, but remember the era before mobile phones when most students in nigeria ( is that where you are) didnt receive regular calls when they were in school. My point is dont make it a big deal, as long as you're doing ok. Or you could call your dad even if he doesnt call you, and leave him messages occasionally. The whole thing sounds rather risky to be digging up and that's why you should maybe just let bygones be bygones. |
''And for those cheering that no more highway robber, this is even worst, at that speeds robbers on foot can jump in and out of the train at will''haha. |
didnt 23 hrs use to cover lagos to borno or am i getting it wrong. |
am out. |
arsenefc:yes, i did. and what's your problem- why so jittery over me replying dk. worried much that he wont have time for you? ![]() i only borrowed him for a couple of minutes and i'm returning him now because i know you and your group must be getting the heebie jeebies and need him back. make we no get another fiasco like we saw the other time. i tell ya, the current crop of nigerians are another thing entirely. I'm not coming between yall and your non-whatever girlies oh. coolu temper. |
yes, he went too far. what concerns the guests with this matter? true, the girl and best man wronged him, but still. |
^^just reminding you many homes these days have eating compartments in the kitchen apart from the dining room. |
i should open a blog, really. seriously considering it. |
And another thing which i forgot to mention here is that for the fact that her children are Citizens does not guarantee her papers for one simple reason and that is because she has a RECORD with the US Govt and was Forcibly removed(deported)from the UShmm, interesting. |
i think this is white house [as per topic]. not sure though but i used to pass by there sometimes- cant remember where i was going [maybe health sciences?] because the building is rather remote. https://img204.imageshack.us/img204/7869/imagescafobf5a.jpg |
^^yes, you're quite right. i remember now people told me how they used to eat there back in the day when they had meal vouchers. when nigeria was still good. then it got converted to architecture building. |
Nobody wants to go back home to pursue their papers and the US asylum system is funny as 80% of people that file are not given and are asked to leave the countryoh, didnt know that. those people that came in before they started the finger printing are stuck heredidnt realise this either. |
her then hubby that she came with went back to nigeria. she is not married tomy uncle in america they only did the traditional onejust trying to clarify here. 1. your aunt came to the US with her first husband, who later returned to nigeria while she remained in america. 2. your uncle is her second husband, and they didnt do a court wedding in addition to the traditional one. i suppose, from the tone of your post, your uncle has his own papers but your aunt doesnt. 3. or is your uncle the same husband who returned to nigeria after they both originally travelled abroad. pardon my slowness- i just dont get the general picture. and yes, her kids can file for her if they're US citizens and over 18. assuming the laws havent changed. |
OAU to demolish Buka, Angola marketshttp://odili.net/news/source/2011/apr/19/808.html how far with this? Anyone know? so there's no more old buka for we eges. didnt go to new buka too often. The food was rather bland, imo, and expensive. I originally went there with some ajebutter friends who had cash to burn, but abeg me and new buka/ajebutter no gree so much. Besides, it was a long walk. must have improved now though. |
archi: nice place but looks a bit weird compared to the other buildings, imo. I heard it was originally used for something else before archi moved there. https://img839.imageshack.us/img839/6610/archistudio3.jpg |
is this what's being referred to as motion ground? [img]http://abdulapopoola.files./2011/01/library-2-opa-motion.jpg[/img] it's just the front of the library. http://abdulapopoola./2011/01/09/sights-of-oau/library-2-opa-motion/ why is it called motion ground. Or has it always been called that but i just dont remember. SUB is to the left, i think. With those nice little cafes in the round building. i thought you folks meant sports center cos that's where a lot of letharios used to get their groove on under the bleachers. |
In Medical floor, you would go to the bathroom and meet a girl taking her showerit wasnt only the medical floor. my cousin's roommates [they werent med students] also sometimes camped their girlfriends from off campus. i'm sure they also had girlfriends on campus too [regular ones i suppose], but i dont think i met those. I only saw the non-ife ones who btw were quite tripped for some reason. dont know if they were happy at sneaking around, or happy they were dating ife boys, or just happy to be on campus. i'm sure they also had regular boyfriends in their own place. |
proper aro. |
^^stop being silly. did you not hear their voices in the video or is this another case of there's no such thing as an [insert ethnicity here] accent. |
i'd like to read it as well. and, didnt all these technologies and phones "borrow" from one another? ![]() |
ask your neighbours? ![]() |
it's necessary but impossible. virtually no country has had any success in controlling the internet. china is trying to but still. we've all seen what happened to libya despite tight internet control. |
i just hope he didnt spend his entire time in ife, in awo hall, because that would be flabbergasting and counter productive. most guys start out in angola [another no no but still more courteous than awo], then move on to awo hall. some then move on up to fajuyi, where they learn how to be polished gentlemen and reduce the gra gra small. some lucky ones start off at faj and stay throughout their program. i used to visit my cousin there and his roommates were very friendly. If i mention some things they did, one of them might recognize themselves if they're on nl. ![]() |
i think the dead man is ghadaffi. same ear, same face, same everything. |
I would have been able to insult DK to high heavenssee how fast he pulled out a song. . . . . . ![]() |
which times were those? ![]() nupes and yorubas arent let me say permanent allies even though there's been some intermarriage in times past. why do you think it took a nupe man to cancel abiola's mandate? ![]() who else would have dared? ![]() just asking. there's been much water under the bridge and oro po ninu iwe kobo. bygones are bygones. there are some associations that only lead to one ending. even fulanis dont joke with nupe. |
