though at this stage, with the weight loss and progressive weakness, exercise might not be an option for now. but if you're feeling tingling in your legs, that's a very bad sign. you have to change your diet. |
sounds like diabetes. see a doctor and run the necessary tests. exercise and cut down on sugar. |
Should man have a moral sense?the issue here isnt necessarily moral sense but rebellion. Further, the tree of knowledge contained the information of all sins and things evila bit too vague, and no, i dont think that's what the tree of knowledge was about. can you post more about how you reached this conclusion. |
infidelity and gayness both. more men [and women too] are coming out of the closet. end times, lord have mercy. |
the deposed Libyan leader had a network through which he identified young Nigerians who could be recruited into the Libyan army and other forces.is this so hard to believe? ![]() libya was the center of the human trafficking network [along with some other north african countries], so how exactly did so many nigerians end up there if not for a very sophisticated underground information system. who were the visible faces of this human trafficking ring? Most were linked to particular tribes in nigeria. also, the nationalist separatist movements in nigeria all had zones based in libya. So, while the author might be trying to downplay certain tribes' presence in libya, lets try to fish out the facts in the article. |
strangely, i dont doubt kwara would fit that description as well, but most of the kwarans i know, arent like that. i guess the conservative muslims from there might mainly be in the north, though i could be wrong. |
It is one of the first Muslim private schoolsafi be. apart from the likes of Ansarudeen that were taken up by the government from the missionaries. I grew up in a large family house and u can understand if my holidays were with Muslim friends too. In fact my holidays were at Islamic vacation courses. I didnt know christians and their ways at the time am describing except perhaps what I saw on TV.so you have no christians at all in your general extended family? rather unusual. or maybe you're just not aware of any. i do know some yoruba muslims who dont interact with christians in any manner. Think most of them were from the oyo axis and a few from ogun. |
however, i'm not arguing any point here. |
@Tpiacaucasian hair is different from afro hair. i'm referring to the point of the thread itself. afro hair care would be different from care of straight hair, for instance. usually afro is the hair type associated with black women. not everyone likes perming the hair to straighten it out and besides we occasionally need to remind ourselves what our natural hair is supposed to look like. and it isnt always a crime to be black and negro, you know. So stop feeling so defensive if people are discussing issues you personally cant relate with. ![]() your tone is quite rude. |
haruna is a muslim yoruba name. possibly derived from the arabic harun, meaning aaron. |
what's the connection between ijaw and arabs, if any. thirdly, is there any explanation of how or why ijaws started living on water. |
can someone expantiate on the ijaw social structure. in particular, this slave vs freeborn thing. |
given the size of nigeria, im yet to see how having multiple seaports is supposed to significantly affect any one area eg lagos. even during the slave trade, the lagos port was bustling and likewise the calabar/akwa ibom port was also bustling. Everybody shipped their markets from the multiple seaports. whats more likely to happen is your central african cousins might migrate to nigeria or that area more and establish more trade links in whatever form, or vice versa. on the lagos axis, business will continue as usual but with the slight chance of a reduction in population. maybe. |
deols would like to hear your response to my questions because quite frankly i'm still astonished by what you described. never heard of such happening in the southwest, so maybe things are different from what i knew before, or there are actually places in yorubaland where seeing a christian is viewed the same way as seeing a white man. amazing. its like rolling back the clock 300 years to when africa was the dark continent. like before the white man even set foot there. |
I thought the thread was about black afro hair but carry on. |
^^the questions asked by the op are a bit deep, even though the topic is the same. unless one wants to copy and paste his post on the other thread, and at the same time run the risk of derailing it. this thread is particularly about eve and the choices she made in eden, and not necessarily about procreation. |
the university must have a open door policy on admission. even while it keep its moral value.true. but at the same time, students must be ready to keep to the standards and principles on which the school was founded. |
It was actually easy to convert young minds by telling us about Mary Slessor. No mention is made of atrocities of the slavers.please dont get people started on atrocities of slavers. this thread will go haywire. do you feel europeans were the only culprits here? ![]() |
They can only resort into traps to weed out non-christians. Do you actually believe that the boy will put Muslim/Anglican?is the boy's mother a muslim convert? any background on the family? |
unless it was a majorly muslim area i suppose. never heard the likes before sha. |
i'd say he should see a doctor and run tests. |
I attended a Muslim Primary school and we used to av at least a christian at every time. No one ever forced them to pray. In fact we used to look at them like u wld look at Oyinbos, cos dey were just our first contact with christians.where was that, i wonder. very weird for yorubaland. Are you yoruba? ![]() @ bolded- weird. while I was in secondary school. This school was purely business oriented and wasnt meant to favor a religion and they would sideline Muslim students when it came to appointing prefectsalso weird. where was this if you dont mind my asking. |
Bruises where? ![]() He should see a doctor himself and do some lab tests to make sure everything is ok. |
@ topic i dont think the boy should be denied admission of course, but what were the problems the school said they had with previous muslim students. does anyone know? |
i wonder why the boy's father is playing with his son's education in this manner. ![]() i guess he doesnt want him to go to university just yet. the boy is brilliant, and the only school you could think of to send him to, is a private strict christian university even though you're devoted muslims? ![]() doesnt add up. ![]() some observant muslims wouldnt want their kids in christian environments like that where they'd be exposed to a different religion, should the school even offer them admission. if they were liberal muslims now that's different. what's wrong with the federal universities? ![]() |
