Family / Re: Is It Ideal For A Wife To Know The Salary Of His Spouse? by tpia5: 7:04pm On Nov 25, 2014
olafunny:
Just want to know if it is right for the wife to know the income of his husband. And as for the husbands, can u disclose your salary to your wife??

are you sitting on your haunches, watching the clock and waiting to monitor when someone's salary comes in?

Is that your job?
Family / Re: Mums,what Would You Do? by tpia5: 7:02pm On Nov 25, 2014
Ma'am, that baby may not be able to talk but that doesnt mean you must misrepresent it.

besides, are these things rocket science?
Romance / Re: Reasons Why You Should Encourage Your Friends To Try Wooing Your Woman by tpia5: 6:54pm On Nov 25, 2014
TheSonOfMark:
I'LL TELL YOU A STORY, MY STORY: When I was 17 in 2008, I did something that I consider silly in retrospect.
A friendly acquaintance who was in his early 20's then, in the course of a discussion/ argument about females, threw a challenge to the guys (8 of us) that none could woo his girlfriend then, successfully...and ofcourse, the claims and counter-claims rented the air.

His said girlfriend worked as a stylist in my aunt's beauty salon and it was common knowledge that both were an item...and she was 20 then. Prior to the challenge, she had always complimented my looks and the fact that I'm hairy but a relatively inexperienced teen that I was, I didn't act on it.
Summary is: the dude travelled for a while and she regularly visited our family house and flirted with me even in my room. We ended up getting in between the sheets several times.
At some point it became public knowledge that we were an item - subtle stolen kisses and body contact gave us away.
Word got to her supposed boyfriend that she was cheating with ME - the youngest guy in the group that day. He broke up with her but we continued our thing until I got admitted into the university...
She got married to someone else last year though.

When asked by some guys why and how I 'snatched' Andy's (his name) girlfriend, I justified it by replying that I was just taking up his challenge just so he'll learn and also never underestimate a younger person...although, along the line, what the girl and I had became more of a friends-with-several-benefits thingy.
Nostalgia...Now I'm a grown male.

so, he challenged anyone to woo his girlfriend and then travelled.

i think you were scammed.

You arrived late to the party, people are on other things now.
Family / Re: Mums,what Would You Do? by tpia5: 6:47pm On Nov 25, 2014
If you feel the baby is biting with its gums then chances are its not properly latched on and you need to reposition the baby or the breast.

Teething aids are to relieve aching when teeth are coming out, biting is when the baby uses its teeth to bite.

but do you think the baby in that picture can bite?

see your health care providers, are you not receiving antenatal care?

Family / Re: Mums,what Would You Do? by tpia5: 5:23pm On Nov 25, 2014
sucking is different from biting.

you need teeth to bite.

perhaps you're referring to squeezing.

well, i stand to be corrected if wrong, but in any case, the baby in that picture cant bite yet unless it has teeth.

** posts are about breastfeeding plz**

Her Professorship must have been via Connection cos she's way too young for it.

she cant be that young if she was already working in the 80s.

dont you need teeth to bite?

at least post a photo of a baby with teeth? Or use another thread title? Unless this is in the realm of fiction?

Romance / Re: Is It Necessary To Keep Praying For A spouse Year After Year? by tpia5: 4:30pm On Nov 25, 2014
Highflyer3:

That speaks desperation. There are better things to consistently pray for and not something you have 50% part of the problem.

Work on yourself and get a husband.

Can't really argue here.

Imagine someone who is not even married yet but very militant and reading the riot act to any male who comes her way.

Its mostly armed robbers who will be comfortable with such, but the ladies in question will feel too classy for that level.
Romance / Re: Is It Necessary To Keep Praying For A spouse Year After Year? by tpia5: 4:28pm On Nov 25, 2014
If you've been praying for long yet you haven't seen a husband, then maybe you should check other hings eg are you scaring men away, or are you looking for men who are not your husband.

Seriously though, if you say a man must not cheat and he must not have sex if his wife is not in the mood, then what exactly is he expected to do ?

Just shut up and get busy with housework?

Celebrities / Re: Stephanie Okereke Supports Lady Raped By Her Brother by tpia5: 1:59pm On Nov 25, 2014
Anyway, my point remains:

my stand on this matter is polygamous families should learn to stop involving the whole world in their personal troubles.

You have to learn to cope with your situation at some point, you cant change your family so why beat yourself or yourselves up all the time and be a laughing stock for all and sundry who are enjoying your wahalas.
