AtlanticBreeze: Igbo/yoruba marriage, Like the family, I'm not in supportBut you were in support when they produced two kids? |
GentleMimi: I guess that explains her ''long face'' in all the pictures taken. Most brides beam with smiles on their wedding day,but Lola........Some people do not like "alariwo" wedding for various reasons. |
Promhize: You are not Igbo, so you can't understand.Lola herself is from a well to do family, so i'm not sure where gold digger applies. If there are any reservations about the matter, its probably linked to the fact that she's 'oyinbo'. As per having kids out of wedlock, does anyone in fact have any evidence they did not marry before now? Just saying! |
What a load of baloney. They should just say they were "warned" not to attend the wedding, instead of paying people to type all this moonshine. And no, i do not believe the age difference (if any) is that much, those of you harping on that should fall back because later now you'll start catching feelings when the thing is looked into. |
That person looks scary though. |
Mogenerous: Tania Omotayo, wizkid's girlfriend is her siblingWizkid's girlfriend has a white father. She posted his picture a while back. Omotayo is not her surname. |
The dark skinned models should thank them and use the opportunity to go back to school and learn a profession. |
from the same thread: dyoung: To conceive a baby boy or girl, the parent will come together to agree on the sex of the child before sexsual intercause. |
dyoung: To conceive a baby boy or girl, the parent will come together to agree on the sex of the child before sexsual intercause.hmm, interesting. any testimonials, feedback, etc? |

The white to black family looks more convincing than the black to white family, imo. Just shows many blacks (especially non-african blacks), are mixed to some extent. |
Lord have mercy, not again. |
abhosts: Nowadays most people seem to make a mockery of wedding process. A Veil over the bride's face is meant to represent Virginity.in the traditional ceremony, the bride's face may be covered ( usually with a veil or some other cloth). Not sure if the veil in traditional wedding represents the same thing as the veil in the white wedding. If she had done the wedding in the village, instead of fancy lagos, there is no way Peter would not have prostrated at that wedding. All those his friends wey dey form sef, dem for know whats up. |
iceberry1759: a Vail on a traditional attire. hmmm.......na wao!I think its muslims who usually do that, not sure why she added it to her repertoire, maybe her mum or dad have muslim ancestry, just guessing. Or the designer just wanted to include it. |
JideTheBlogger: ....and who says she is not a virgin?Good one. After two kids? |
There was a thread where someone gave feedback after trying one of the methods suggested on nl, will search for it. |
Why was the groom not in agbada at the wedding? They had better publish a picture of themselves in full agbada, cap and iro and buba, abi is he playing ni? |
Kaffy wey the son resemble biracial, isnt fair? If you were doubting, check her kid nah. |
CFCfan: I still dey kampehttps://www.nairaland.com/1141963/aspiring-law-students-lawyers |
manny4life: Good to know NL hasn't turned you around..https://www.nairaland.com/1466155/wishing-cfcfan-success-lsat |
^thats what i expected him to say instead of all the long story. as it is, thin line if you ask me. |
when polio logs on again to bully, the thread will showcase him and anyone who has him as a mentor. |
the thread is not only for polio, its for anybody who finds it hard to engage in civilized behaviour on nl. learn to appreciate context when you are posting, its not rocket science and neither should you act as if nl is your papa's land, na seun own am, you all are just wasting your time here, he's not paying you to make f.ools of yourselves on the web. whenever your eyes clear, let us know. in the meantime, surely none of you have any issues with your posts making this thread? i assume if you decide to be shameless then you are ready to defend anything you type including your uncouth behaviour and language. |
manny4life: Unfortunately you missed the point of my argument, I am not arguing to change anyone's perception or opinion on how they view a male wearing colored pants, in all honesty, others opinion about the subject matter is their opinion, and that's what it is. If they choose to associate males wearing colored pants as gay, then it's their opinion, and that's fine. I'm neither arguing to change, alter nor invalidate their opinion.you can argue all you want, doesnt change the facts. the fact that you're so jittery over the matter, shows you already know. |
bright/coloured, doesnt matter. my point is you are free to wear what you like, but you cant force people to not assume you're gay when you insist on wearing things associated with a particular lifestyle. if you must argue against such, does it make sense to do it on this particular thread? how does that assure people you're not gay? |
Dd Peter's agbada come late or something? I've been looking for the wedding photos where he was wearing agbada, havent seen any so far. Abi he doesnt know his wife is yoruba ni? and is a white wedding in the works or not? |
this kain function where everybody dey first of all travel go somewhere immediately before am, na wa o. lord have mercy. |
^ and which category does your forebears fall into? |
manny4life: That's right, "MEN" don't commonly wear them in your village. Take a trip to New York, NY or downtown Washington DC, and then come back and reevaluate your comments again.bro, its not by force to wear what is uncommon with your gender. or are you selling/designing such? not sure why you're so upset over the issue. if you must (constantly) wear bright trousers and you are an adult male, then stop jumping on people if they assume you're gay. |
why did he miss the wedding? |
rozayx5: yeah more investment s are coming into Akwa Ibomnothing wrong with that, so lets move on. next item, spread the word so people can move to akwa ibom. |
