Crime › Re: Saudi Arabia Beheads Three Nigerians For Murder by tpia5: 1:32pm On Jul 11, 2011
Ignoramuses on the thread

yoruba muslim names would be ismaila, kabiru and adamu.

Its either the men arent nigerian, changed their names or were named in some kind of new fangled style.

For all three of them to have the same type of name is unusual.
Crime › Re: Saudi Arabia Beheads Three Nigerians For Murder by tpia5: 4:15am On Jul 11, 2011
lord have mercy.

btw the names dont seem nigerian.
Crime › Re: Saudi Arabia Beheads Three Nigerians For Murder by tpia5: 4:14am On Jul 11, 2011

Politics › Re: Heavy Rain Floods Parts Of Lagos by tpia5: 3:45am On Jul 11, 2011
Sicherheit:
I don't think I will ever understand why anyone wants to live in Lagos. That state is a dump, they need to let it slip gently into the ocean that wants to swallow it so badly.
These houses won't need rain before they collapse, just the heavy wind before the rain will do the job undecided
wrong.

a hurricane would collapse them [and most houses regardless].

flooding will not, because they're above the water.

houses on stilts isnt a new concept.
Politics › Re: Lagos Flood: Fashola Declares Monday Public Holiday by tpia5: 3:39am On Jul 11, 2011
@ sun of god

fashola has done the right thing by asking people to stay put where they are.

overseas, similar measures are effected when thess kinds of conditions happen.

eg too much snow, flood warnings, etc.
Politics › Re: Lagos Flood: Fashola Declares Monday Public Holiday by tpia5: 3:36am On Jul 11, 2011
it wasnt this bad before- are the floods getting worse every year and something needs to be done to decongest lagos.

some of these places need to be evacuated because they're flood zones.

people shouldnt be living there, really.

there ought to be fewer houses, and those few, built on raised platforms so the water can pass underneath them? huh

We decided to live with as minimal contact with each other as we could manage. Because she often refused to open her door, we developed the art of communication by notes pushed under the door

well they should be careful because news of the world just got closed down after 168 years in business, over phone hacking scandals.

people should try to caution themselves even if they feel they're "powerful".

the woman was beating him up for 30 years or what exactly cos i didnt read the story to see if more has been added beyond what was already hashed out thoroughly on nl before.

personally, i'd find it a bit embarassing to say in public that my wife is beating me up, at the age of 50+, and after 30+ years.

or vice versa.

but what do i know.

lord have mercy.
