Is it just me or have you also noticed ethnic bashing on threads (traffic driver) appear to have slowed down since most people would rather be here to share or pick one or two things?
yes, quite ironic.

possibly the people instigating the ethnic bashings mostly moved to this one.

thanks yall, for keeping Ileke HD occupied, for example. More grease to your elbow. The forum had a little respite from her constant attacks, of course she was on my case throughout (transferring her constant frustrated aggression to me) but that's ok, if it made for peace elsewhere.

um.

Igalas are wiser now ... I know the wouldn't allow a Yoruba man from Lagos to come and rule them in their land ....

Yorubas in kogi pls respect ur host the igalas... Allow igalas to elect their own in their land .. Steer clear from kogi politics
Yorubas do not have a problem with Igalas electing the governor. Nigeria is for all, common interests supercede personal ambitions.

Some folks on nairaland are typing from youthful exuberance and immature thinking, it doesnt mean they are speaking for all. Their understanding is just immature and neither do they have an indepth knowledge of Yoruba culture. Globalization plus computer is what they know, not cultural norms or politics. The types called "young Turks".

And most of them are not Kogi. The few who are, are misguided.

I was looking for this thread and it took me so long to find. I don't usually post but I enjoy reading the discussions here.
Why was this moved to the culture section when it has politics in the title huh
if a simple thing like location of a thread throws everyone on it off balance, then one has to wonder why where it is is so important to said posters? huh

who is checking politics section who will refuse to check culture section? All you have to do is tell the person/s to check for it in whichever section it is.

it's also a trend for sure but men are waking up to see this as a challenge now hence if u go to any gym close by, the turn out are now massive cos they know what they should look like.

It's not like men are not victims but it's more of a problem from the women.
majority of the men in the gym are actually not married, I'm sure of that although it could be a wrong assumption. However, a large number would appear to be youths or younger men.

Not saying pot belly is mandatory though.

IGBOPRINCE:
nothing like propaganda here, you re from anioma, you should understand better nwanna.
There was a day I was praying to God to see an igbo man governs delta state, when I saw the AC candidate in 2007 by the name okocha, I was very happy that an igbo man will soon be the governor of delta state if election is free and fair, but he never won in 2007, the then governor, ibori, gave the seat of power to his cousin.
The igbos in delta state were not happy, they felt the urhobos, warris and isokos owned delta state. But to be fair to all, they think like humans and gave other igbos a sense of belonging, hence ifeanyi okowa.

This is the problems we re facing in nigeria, hence a zoo
Kogi State is not Delta state.

I don't see myself as less intelligent than whites, let me make that clear, their own test says I am smarter than 98% of them. If, however, you take an IQ test and score 70, 85 or 90 it would be the height of foolishness to assume your intellect is the same as races who average 100 (Whites), 106 (Asians) and 110 (Jews).

Inability to accept bad news is one of the hallmarks of low IQ and that is why it is up to us, the fortunate ones, to turn off our emotions and find solutions so that maybe one day our pride in our race is commensurate to our actual measured ability.
Yes, every black is unintelligent except you.

Trust women to always justify their wickedness. The poster clearly stated that the sister in question is doing well. What gives you all the idea that she isn't Dangote and so she should keep it all, however little/big to herself?
FYI, this is Africa, where we are our brothers' keepers. Where we all eat from the same single bowl of food. Where we don't leave our mothers to starve out of some misguided avant-garde notion of 'everybody work their way up'.
All these very wicked women everywhere.

By the way, the IQ test measures abstract reasoning skills. This is ones ability to recognize patterns, understand complex ideas and comprehend how seemingly unrelated data is connected. Not only this, it also correlates with your ability to conceptualize future events, especially as they relate to your actions in the present.

My IQ score correlates with my ACT score, my SAT score, my MAT score, etc etc if i take the LSAT or the GRE it will correlate with that too.
Not a replacement for street smarts.

The ugly on sight story happened to another nairalander years ago who even though she actually wasn't ugly, arranged to meet a nler who never showed up at the venue but instead sent a text saying he changed his mind (I think). Although he was watching her the whole time she was there.

She opened a thread detailing her experience and the guy replied her asking why she easily decided to meet up with a total stranger in that manner.

Intriguing thread.

The scam in the title is implied to also be love scam, not just monetary scam since the incidences stated include relationship matters and the females involved insisted the males were scamming them.

Scandal might also apply perhaps.

Lord have mercy sha.
