Politics / Re: The First States In Nigeria Were Rivers, Lagos, Kwara, Kano, Kaduna, Cross River by tpiadotcom: 12:29pm On Nov 29, 2015
The next round of state creation took place on 3 February 1976.

Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Imo, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Abuja FCT.

This shaped the basic modern Nigeria as we know it, the regions were further subdivided into the various states from which newer states were created.

The former Midwestern region was also renamed Bendel state.

what's with all the body shaming?

people should be encouraged monitor weight and body shape for health reasons, not just because they don't have your own shape.

that's very petty and ignorant.

So she wears and dumps them till further notice.... Ok grin

yes, I'm wondering about that.

is she leaving the pants specifically for the boyfriend to wash, or the boyfriend searches for the pant and washes them to prove his loyalty.
Politics / Re: The Conspiracy Against Okun People by tpiadotcom: 11:07am On Nov 29, 2015
the state is young, give it time to settle.

most of the newly created states are having various quandaries since they still have to sort out so much stuff by virtue of the fact that they are new.

I've opened a thread about these issues before, a while back [ie to discuss the new states specifically].

so, there is no conspiracy at play here unless you view one within the wider context of conspiracies you can find at any point in time anywhere in Nigeria or beyond.

for linda ikeji to be so focused on glorifying the single life, clearly there must be something else at stake here.

much more to all this than it appears.

why are Nigerian ITs so bent on projecting a single status?

I dont see a similar trend in the west, someone should point out examples if I'm wrong.

Family / Re: Husband's Or Maiden Name, Which One Appears On A Married Ladys NYSC Certificate by tpiadotcom: 10:33am On Nov 29, 2015
modestdude:
Please Dear Family members,

I need an answer from Married Ladies who have gone through this. When a Lady redeploys from NYSC camp on marital grounds to join her husband, Which name appears on her NYSC discharge certificate at the end of her service year?

Is it her Maiden name in which she was mobilized with, or her husband's name which she had notified the public including NYSC to take note?

Now the problem is, she needs her maiden name on the NYSC certificate to enable her secure a vacancy on biological grounds after NYSC.

Again, she is skeptical of her chances to secure a job (should that one fails) which favours singles over the married ladies today in our society, which is the more reason she needs her maiden name on the certificate.

So please, Which of the names will be on the Certificate?

whichever name she asked NYSC to put on the certificate is what will be there.

"Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord." Ephesians 5:22 - that's what the bible says but it seems nowadays the world is changing and the whole world is changing. Ladies are becoming westernised and are finding it increasingly hard to submit to their partners. Why is this so? is submission still relevant in modern day climate? Guys what are your views on this?
'

the bible says submit yourselves to one another.
