The ba prefix is probably of araboid or berber origin, as we see from names like ibn batuta, etc.

English also has some ba words derived from old latin and germanoid/french languages eg baron which meant warrior or nobleman.

Is it that you find her annoying or that you're yet to get a man and the thought of someone marrying is annoying you.

Either way, put off your hate for one day and accept the honour, it won't remove anything from you.

Learn to be gracious especially as a woman.

But if the hatred is too much, then by all means refuse the request. If you don't refuse, then I do not want to hear tales by moonlight about whatever is your grudge. Put a sock in it.

I'm already got Another company, and yes it's pretty accurate besidea the Lemba thing is at a low percentage, and I'm 80% west African, since the west African gene is dominate then I said is pretty accurate. Also, my mother confirms what the test says, she knows her father is part middle eastern (she has her own family tree back at her home that she can trace to at least one middle eastern ancestor) so to say my families's ancestors did not pick up other genes while traveling from the Middle East all the way to west Africa is pretty inaccurate.
Does your mum know how/why her ancestor was in the area at that time?
Culture › Re: Help! What Do I Do With My Ancestry? by tpiadotcom: 5:21am On May 23, 2015
Fireflame144000:
Because his father's grandfather was middle eastern. But his father's grandmother was an Igbo so yeah it's part middle eastern.

No question is worthless. My vision for the child is to have a well groomed (moral, intellctual, academic and God fearing) child at the end of his secondary education.
Also, I am not yet that millionaire that will spend over a hundred thousand naira per term and not get the best of it. Don't crucify me pls.
you are the one crucifying yourself.

like I said, I don't see why there has to be so much soul searching over choosing a secondary school for your child. You are free to explain however.

University I can understand, secondary school, not so much.

But, if you cant decide, then why not place the child in whichever of the schools belongs to your church? huh

Btw, raising a moral, intellectual, academic and God fearing child is as much the responsibility of the parents as it is of the school, imo.

But if you are looking at the school's academic record (WAEC, JAMB, etc), then I guess that should be a criteria.

What is your vision for the child?

I'm not sure why you need to do this much soul searching just to get him or her into secondary school? huh

maybe i'm missing something.

I think you mean people in general, not muslims only.

Among nigerians alone, the toll is extremely high, how much more somewhere else.

And its not certain if the war is a western one or was brought to the west.

Nonsense!

BTW; If that Abia gurl [Tohpahz] does not win the Miss Nairaland contest tonyte; I'll first trek from here to the International Airport in Ikeja and board an Aeroflot flight to the Kharkiv International Airport in Ukraine without even buying a flight ticket.

Then I'll sneak into Ukraine like a thief in the nyte [Jesus Style], and then trek from there to Crimea to inspect the on-goin war, take some pix and collect some valuable intel on how the Malaysian MH17 was shot down by the CIA.

Then I'll take a cab from there directly to the Kremlin to have a cocktail meal with Vladimir Putin & his girlfriendsss. I'll commend him for the great job he's doin in Crimea for keeping the American Vultures at bay, and then call Seun with Putin's fone to deactivate my Nairaland Account.
