I think there are some Ekiti towns in Kwara, maybe some in Kogi. Don't know, you can check Edo also, maybe there are some there.

I have said before, state creation is not an exercise that should be embarked on then left to sort out on its own.

The newly created states since the aforementioned time frame, need to be mentored and under a different kind of administrative process than earlier states. This will help them better navigate the nigerian system and security apparatus.

Anyway, this thread is for situation reports on states which were created after 1991. A major wave of state creation occurred on and after that time frame, compared to the earlier ones of which two were created in 1987(?) and some were created because of the civil war.

Every state creation since they were 12 has mirrored the rise in the poverty index in Nigeria. That is the more states created the more the rise in the poverty index. Creation of states is a panacea for sure rise in poverty.
