christinie:I really cant fault him on this one. It is far more difficult to decide to work as a taxi driver rather than get some sugar mama to 'gigolo' somebody, it was a hard choice but he made it and see where he is today. just speaking generally, nobody should take it personally since I didn't mention anyone's name and neither am I disturbing anyone's gigolo business. |

I think its Argungu festival, not argungun (egungun). |
The LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. God does not view things the way men do. People look on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart1 Samuel 16:7 Is outward appearance the major yardstick for appraising character? |
Johnnoah1st:Jesus did not say close your eyes and pray, he said watch and pray. Does that answer your question? ![]() when you see our leaders and celebrities displaying watches on many of their photoshoots, they are actually paying mind to this instruction. the point I'm making isn't that you shouldn't close your eyes when praying, but keep priorities as priorities. Yorubas say alaye ni yio ma yin o, Baba (its only the living who can praise you, O Lord). |
have there been any births recently? |
I think every tribe has ruled Nigeria now, abi which tribe or geographical region never rule yet? ![]() please include spouses when calculating your figures. |

I don't miss anything about my grandparents. I'm grateful to God for their life well spent. why are you asking about people's grandparents, op. |
He swam leisurely to shore, and drew himself onto the beach, panting a little. He lay down and watched the moonlight dancing on the water. His companions were nowhere to be found, the beachfront was deserted and he was alone with his thoughts. Right now, he almost wished for some company but he was also comfortable just lying there for a while, thinking. I'm almost like the thinker, he thought. The sudden silence compared to the earlier activities on the beach, was quite a contrast. He could feel himself getting drowsy, and the water lapping gently on the ocean felt and sounded serene. He thought he heard drumbeats in the distance, but they were so faint he wondered if he was imagining them. |
Tjayjosh:op your write up is rather long and I didn't read it, but to answer your question (btw, not sure if I'm the only one for whom the formatting was off), God hates human sacrifice but He had to do it in order to end it once and for all. There was no other way by which sin could be eradicated from the world. However, the sacrifice was ONCE, not continuous. By so doing, Jesus was able to destroy the works of the devil. Even as the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many key word here is ransom. His sacrifice was necessary in order to ransome the many. |
