Regardless of the comment credited to Lagostaxiguy which I don't feel good about gazzuzz, but at least ogbeni gazzuz should be civil a bit with comments he makes to another man wife. He could have remain silent to avoid all this tirades.

Obviously that is from failed promises of your inefficeint buffoon. Because this present government just clocked three years plus, so you should be directing your questions to them.

Meanwhile kaduna and baro ports are practically up and running while Onitsha is still on concession promise 5 years after.

Not at all Sir! Setting such barrier is not to high for serious minded drivers who are ready to work and handle your car with care.

TheCar:
I collect Security Deposit and he his getting it back.

Security Deposit (Assurance) isn’t the property of the car owner. It’s the weekly rental that’s not refundable because that belongs to the Car Owner.

Security Deposit can’t be enforced on any Car Owner because the car is the person property and he/she decide what to do. People can only advise because of their previous experience which the new car owner about to start Uber business can either choose to collect or not.

Someone once claimed on this thread that he doesn’t give his Uber driver any Agreement form to signed and someone also claimed he doesn’t collect Guarantors from his Uber driver. Some collect Guarantor and doesn’t verify etc.

Whether to collect or not (Security Deposit) is a choice which the Car Owner can only decide.

If my Uber partner (driving the car) decide to drop my car today his security deposit is currently waiting for him in a separate account and he his getting his credit alert before I collect my car key.

Am sure if we don’t have cases where some drivers default on a pre-agreed weekly rental the case of collecting Security Deposit wouldn’t have started in the first place.

If possible, I would like to do prepaid weekly rental, so that I don’t have to collect any Security Deposit from the driver.

I think if Car Owners start doing prepaid weekly rental there will be no need for security deposit.

But the question is, would you as a driver prepay your weekly rental?

Also if prepaying weekly rental is implemented, are we not setting the barriers of entry too high for new drivers?

Absolutely agree names of bad drivers/partners should be reported here no need of any group.

agborichard:
Partners pls if any driver name BAYO wants a car from you, jst send me msg to confirm the complete name. i am currently having issues with a driver named BAYO now and i do not want to post his full name because i am taking legal actions against him and his guarantors very soon.

I think we need to create a group to share details of bad drivers...

quote author=dru23 post=66209378]

Now whether people take me serious or not ,does not bother me one pit. Coz have been pretty straight forward with people... people should know when am serious or not. Anything anybody tells you take with a grain of salt anylaze it and you make a decision from there.
Now the military General stuff, if you read carefully, Gazzuz said that am not a driver or ever driven on the platform.. That is very correct, now for the fact that I have not one, but fleet of cars on the platform does not mean I don't know what is going on. I don't necessarily need to be on ground... I go by what my workers tells me and manager tells and now compare those with what is going on in nairaland uber thread... from there I make my own final conclusion on what step to take. And also I have few friends on the forum, that are drivers and partners. And they are a great source of information to me. I always
have great communication with them . Those are the people I rely on my interl.. I don't have to be on ground or be a driver to know what is going on. Now if I didn't have any cars at all, that is different situations.
Now if you have read my past thread, I said you will need a good team around you to succeed in the business.. I have a pretty team around me so far... do you know how emails I got from people asking me advice? Also I share my own experience on the thread for people to learn .. If am able to have 8 cars on Uber within 8months of starting the business, am either doing wrong or am a high risk taker. So please let us read to undestand, I have great passion for the business. And once I can master the business feel comfortable enough , you will not hear me on the forum. God willing am hoping to have 14 cars this year. Once I do that am gone from the thread... have done my part to learn and to master my trade. Some will learn others will just watch you learn.. It is up to the individual....[/quote]

dru23:
Yes I agree with you... if having 8plus cars on uber and counting, and also living in place that NEPA don't take lights, having the ability to fly around the world, and been to places you wish or your family wishes, having the privilege for my kids to have good health care, school and better future for them. And have the resources to improve my business, not having to worry about getting stuck in traffic.. If that makes me daft , please Lord I thank you.... I rather to be daft and have all these at my finger tips than to be smart and be broke like you . At the end of the day owo ni koko ... am sure I have more than you do... better go and focus on your 03 camry... your family needs to eat, while u worry about me in the USA sitting down and relaxing... get your sh*t together... don't worry about me bro.... Am daft like you said... Been Daft in God's own country is better than been broke in that sh*t hole you stay at grin
