It's very funny how some ppl take things personal. No wonder Karl Marx said a goat is the most stubborn animal,while humans r d most complex animals. For your info, av been using Qsat since Jan & hav never encountered all this recent challenges wit my box b4... it goes off yes but definitely comes back n I could remember also that we also talk codedly here on dis thread... wat u hear is code 43** down or channel ***9 down... but is that wat we do now? davodyguy: I have to agree with you. That's why i don't like posting here again. These newbies are just messing up this thread. We begged the moderator to even allow this thread in the first place cos issues regarding system hacking or dongles are not allowed on Nairaland. I promised twinstaiye that no one will mention DSTV channels or call the name of any paytv. Some ignorant folks have broken that rule. We said pple should use codes, hell no, they now openly discuss qsat as if its a DSTV decoder.

The aim of this thread is to assist pple with challenges and SW. But the idea of pple coming here to cry whenever anything happens is nauseating.

FYI, Qsat is for FTA by default, if its able to hack scrambled channels, its illegal without the Paytv permitting such. If you're using an Illegal thing, expect it to go off at anytime and when this happens, accept your fate. FTA will never go out. Its a case of you advertising on Nairaland without paying Seun the owner of the site or you boarding commercial bus without paying the fare. When you're caught, accept your fate and if you're not, accept your fate.

I really hope those behind all those facebook pages and groups would be arrested some day

docbindl: Having read everbody comment about the easy availability of queen. First I must say, any product that's good will surely sell irrespective of how secretive you are about it.
2) By natural law or economics, ppol will always go for cheap product that can offer excellent services.
3) Queen is not illegal. Its a decoder that is used to view FTA station and that is ABSOLUTELY LEGAL, whats illegal is the use to view paytv. Now thats is up to the dealers amd thats why transactions are not done in the open.
Will ds** react? YES!!! infact they have started reacting, with the 2 new companies coning into the market and qsat given hell. I read in the papers that after the WORLD CUP, they are planning to announce reduction in the price of their packages.
What is the solution:
The only solution for Ds** is to drastically reduce the prices of their packages, offer top notch services and not this repeat of movies they do. Over pay per view services or allow ppol to pick the stations they intend to watch and pay for it.
Without that.... am sorry, its a lost battle for Ds**, Azkey may be dead, they might beat qsat but their will always be a new decoder to fight. And upgrading is expensive even for Ds**
And Yes @davidoguy, its Hacking..... But hacking has always existed. It will always exist and the only way to beat piracy is to make it NON-PROFITABLE!!!

Dfash: Pls guys help me out here , my qsat has been down for two weeks now . No channel is showing as it only write "Bad Signal " d signal quality remains zero for all d channels . Its code 599 ...
I thought I was a general thing frm server perhaps cos some people complain too around here but now that everyone said d signal is back now ,it remain same story with mine.
Pls what can I do abt it . Could it be as a result of wind and thunderstorms or heavy rain that fell d night bfor it stArted d Bad signal stuff .

You are right but honestly speaking this d**v cheatin will not stop anytime soon unless there's a massive reduction in subscription price. I recall then wen ppl talk about browsing cheat for opera mini n unlimited download almost everyday because of high cost of accessin d internet, but now all that has changed. If with 100 I can pay for 10mb n check my mails make a few research, then why would I bother myself looking for browsing cheat. Even if d**v do a massive upgrade dat will affect qsat, one thing I believe is that it won't put d queen to extinction. Initially it was Az dongles now we hav queen n most recently speed hd. Just as war will never end because ppl r benefiting from it, this d**v tracking will neva end as well. Wat I see happenin is d**v keep upgrading while trackers will keep upgrading to continue wit d tracking process. I won't b surprise to hear qsat hav key d*** officials as partners. That's how things work... and that's why war will neva end, tracking n other negative vices because there r ppl benefitin hugely from it.
The only solution to end this is for d**v to reduce dia prices or create good n cheaper subscriptions(not d rubbish they hav presently) if not am afraid to say this will continue till Only God Knws

How much is the code 44... av been using code 59 on my q13g but havin so much problem wit dat code because it's always down... It's either one server problem or d oda other. Though it expires next year February but I dnt mind changing o if dat code 44 will be stable

Alongeous: Just put your mind at rest and don't disturb the decoder. The problem has nothing to do with software version, as long as you're using any of the v6s, rather the problem is code specific(59xxx and 58xxx). It would be resolved, only that I can't tell how soon.

Malix: Pls if u want a decoder dat cuts across all sphere, get a qsat 23G or a speeds1 HD. These boxes has the capability to take other accounts n work on other sat. Dnt buy product dat ll make u be standin alone when thr is problm.
