The sponsor is family friend and he initially proposed to sponsor me to the US in 2012 but was refused visa Frankrobbn1: How is this sponsor related to you? This will determine the nature of documents you need to proof relationship with him.
It will end in praise |

Hello Everyone Pls my sponsor isn't my relative...what documents should I get from him? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Tre20: 8:13am On Jan 11, 2021 |
Thank you @frankrobbn. You reply dey always make sense Frankrobbn1: You've a great deal of work to do in your application, most especially when establishing strong ties with your home country. Given that your entire family (parents and siblings) are resident of an European Country, you're better off showing that you've immovable assets in your name with valuation report, as well as briefly discuss about your plans of getting married to your fiancee immediately after the completion of your studies. Attach relevant documents like engagement photos etc. Your future career prospects and goals after studies would also be a strong point to bank upon as motivation to depart from Canada.
It will end in praise. |

Thank you...I just dont want to be answering a question they are not asking me. hope4brym: Sounds like a reasonable home tie to me. But as a general rule of thumb, don't lie!!
If IRCC asks (and they will) about your parents' and siblings' residence and citizenship, just say the truth. It's for their records and your application won't be denied for that. |

From what I understand attaching landed property is a way a showing home ties Philadelphia: Good afternoon everyone!
Please what is the essence of attaching land documents to your application? Is it to establish strong home ties or to show proof of funds? |
