Chinom: I'm with him on that. He should never run again. PDP should commence the search for a young, well known Lagosian for 2019. I have nothing against Ambode. He might be a good governor, but i just do not like the fact that Tinubu is still in charge.
Fashola should have picked his successor as is done in most of the states in the federation. We can not continue to allow one man decide the fate of 20 million + odd people. Many countries in this world are not even up to 5 million in population. Lagos is a country / nation of it's own. Tinubu is becoming the Chiarman Mao of Lagos. I resent that.
Good luck to Ambode. Hate him for all u care but tinubu delivered fashola, brought a merger with GMB. This is what a leader does. |

Goke7: Jimi was in the wrong party and I think he was a little bit impatient, it was impossible for a pdp that Nigerians got tired of after 16 yrs in abuja to be voted into Lagos just like that. Lagosians are not that stupid! any other party even apga would have gotten Jimi in but pdp a big NO! I agree with u to an extent. Not pdp in Lagos, that party is failing in the federal. We can't just live with that, we voted GEJ in 2011 and not pdp so we thought. But alas!!! |

waternogetemeny: 1)However, yorubas are now a minority tribe in a Northern Dominated party. Wat will be your faith now as the SS/SE prepare to exit from Nigeria?
2) Lagos election was never about igbos but igbos was just a rally cry to gain votes of a bigot tribe. Can Ambode out perform Fashola? No! May Tinubu continue to enterprise and enrich himself, whilst u all(yorubas) remain his political thug. May AGBAJE type of yoruba man never cross ur path, just Tinubu Boyz. Amin! What is this one saying. Mtcheww. |

sammhi: believe what you want to ...ibut ask yourself why ACN candidate got no significant vote in Yoruba land in 2011 /? Because yorubas put their trust in GEJ! Get that straight. We believed the acn candidate has nothing to offer, even though he was in tinubu's party. U don't know us |
Politics › Re: Final Result Of Gubernatorial Election In Rivers State by treasuremi1(m): 11:03am On Apr 13, 2015 |
sammhi: no sir..Yorubas voted for GEJ in 2011 because Tinubu and his clan had a secret deal with GEJ in 2011 ..so they went to town to paint GEJ like saint same way they did for GMB now. but the problem was that GEJ fail to honor some of these secret pacts..that was the real thing...Tinubu and his clan controls the media so they used the media to lampoon him(note that the media is very silent on the massive corruption, looting, nepotism and lack of respect for rule of law in Lags state ). GEJ weakness is not doing what he did in the 6 weeks some six months before the election. now if the media should hype the negatives of the Lagos state govt the way they did in GEJ...their government would fall . in 2015, GEJ was sold as bad to the Yorubas despite his performances....they highlighted his weakness and hide his strengths....so the Yorubas easily bought it..again because he was not their own ..they could see they can become 2nd in command in GMb administration rather than no body in GEJ... the middle belt voted against GEJ based on internal wranglings of the party...e.g all the strong men of Benue politics left PDP for APC. There is no way that wont affect it ..you can also see the pattern in the guber elections.... my point is both middle belt and SW it is still same ethinicity colored in different gown......if GEJ was Yoruba they would have been cajole that they cant throw away their sons bla bla Lol, I just laughed at ur first point : TINUBU HAD A SECRET DEAL WITH GEJ. U ppl can be so funny. Yorubas are progressives and have a liberal hearts. We voted GEJ in 2011 because we thought he would perform and shun corruption. I rmbr vividly my dad and uncle saying, Jonathan knows the suffering of the masses, he will perform. But corruption and impunity have been high on the increase ; NOBODY IS CHECKING ANYBODY IN HIS GOVT. CORRUPTION HAS MILKED THIS COUNTRY DRY. |

That's why we say the ss and se have turned pdp to regional party and minority party. If it's the wish of the people, then let it be. But did u say amaechi is a loser? I don't think so. He is in apc and apc is the majority party with highest number of states and at the centre |

Nigga, take a trip to the SS/SE/ND and see things for yourself. There is No real town in SW apart from Lagos which is not even a Yoruba state but a melting point of all Nigerians. Try all you can, Lagos will NEVER be a Yoruba town, its even too late to contemplate such nonsense. This is the One Nigeria we wanted. Accept it or start another civil war, and we will beat you on your turf hands down. Mr man, u r really a small boy. See ow u r ranting on nairaland. U need to grow up and stop this nonsense. First it was Oba Adebukola Alli who raped Helen Okpara who was a corper serving in Osun state in 2012...
Now this useless mor.on Oba of Lagos threatening to kill Igbos by throwing them into the Lagoon.
Well, my neighbor whose brother resides in Onitsha was telling me that some guys in Onitsha most of whom were members of MASSOB have grouped themselves and targeted some yourubastard tailors and business people in Onitsha. They have agreed that for any body found in the Lagoon after April 11th and is identified to be that of an Igbo, 10 yorubastards will be fed to the crocodiles in the River Niger and their bones will be used in the construction the second Niger Bridge!
A stewpid fvcktard will just come out and open his smelly ewedu mouth to talk rubbish about the igbos! We shall see...
