Nollywood actress, Funke Akindelo Bello popularly known as Jenifa paid the Pepper Dem Gang a visit and it was an eye-opening experience for the Housemates in Courtesy of MegaGrowth.

In this case, it was the bell that rang and made the Housemates wonder who might be paying them a visit. Their curiosity was soon satisfied as the celebrity guest made her way into the House. From Diane’s hug to Seyi’s expression, the reactions from the Housemate were indeed rich as they didn’t expect to see Jenifa in the House. Even Mike who isn’t very familiar with the guest got the feeling that she was important and he prepared himself to enjoy the experience.

Switching from Queen’s English to Jenifa lingo, Funke Akindele Bello had a chat with the Housemates and it was amusing.

Once they got seated, the guest kicked off the conversation by talking about her passion for the youths and how she believes they are the leaders of today. She then passed the baton to the Housemates and they proceeded to talk about themselves and their various hustle. One by one, they revealed what they were passionate about and what they planned to do after the Big Brother Naija House.

When Diane revealed her passion for acting, she was rewarded with a statement from Funke Akindele Bello “I can’t wait for you to join Jenifa’s Diary.” This comment was greeted with excitement from Diane.

Tacha on her part chatted about her business and her love for making money. She ended her conversation with “you owe me 50 Bet9ja Coins for using my term, serial entrepreneur.” We wonder how Jenifa might pay this debt.

The guest didn’t come empty-handed as she gifted the Housemates products from MegaGrowth. According to her, they are in showbiz and they always need to represent. If the Housemates don’t look good, who will?

Concluding her visit, she advised the Pepper Dem Gang to remain positive, hold their heads high and remember that the sky is big for everyone to fly.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt’s Zonal Office have arrested 19 staff of a fake investment company floating an alleged Ponzi Scheme that have defrauded members of the public to the tune of N2,000,000,000( Two Billion Naira only).

The company, Bluekey Investment Club, operating from Sonia Mall, 42 Woji Road, YKC Junction, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission( CAC) as a Software Development and General Contracting Firm, but allegedly veered into an interest-yielding Ponzi Scheme with ten percent (10%) weekly returns on investment over (6) Months. The Scheme also promised total returns of invested capital after six (6) Months.


EFCC arrest 19 staff of a fake investment company that defrauded people to the tune of two billion naira in?Port Harcourt

Nineteen( 19) staff of the company were rounded up on Friday, August 30, 2019 in Port Harcourt. Among them are five Principal Officers: Princess Tsaroigbara( Public Relations Officer) ; Onwusa Frances Chineze( Accountant); Naabe Gunugu( Payment Confirmation Staff), Tambari Success( Customer Service) and Anorue Maureen( Receptionist). The Chairman of the company: Neenwi Swanu was at large as at the time of arrest.

Princess Tsaroigbara, Public Relations Officer ( PRO) of the Company told interrogators that her company was into “Digital Financial and other Technological Services” and was not sure if the company was fully registered with the Security and Exchange Commission, SEC, and the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

Scores of defrauded customers thronged the premises of the Company seeking the intervention of the EFCC.

Items recovered from the company are computer units and a sum of N459, 300( Four Hundred and Fifty Nine Thousand, Three Hundred Naira only). The suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded. .

A distraught Nigerian lady sent out an SOS message on Instagram after a Lagos policeman allegedly jailed her sister last night August 30, for reportedly not greeting him.

@_royaltiegram in her Insta-Live video said the policeman behind her sister's ordeal is one Mr. Eric of Area F police division in Ikeja area of Lagos. She alleged that the police division is notorious for rape and extra-judicial killing.

The lady who stayed up all night to secure her sister's release, said the policeman demanded for N5,000 before releasing her sister. She however didn't reveal if the money has been paid.

The corps member who died while travelling in a bus with other Catholic corps members has been laid to rest.

Jacinta Chinenye Ndem was in a bus belonging to the National Association of Catholic Corps members (NACC) when they were involved in a car crash on Sunday, August 18, and she lost her life.

The 24-year-old was committed to mother Earth on Thursday, August 29, in her hometown, Afikpo, Ebonyi state.

It’s been four years already my little smart and energetic zee mama.
Last four year has been about your mum and she really deserves an award for everything she has been doing and if we have to share responsibility she has done 50% of mine and adding to 100% she brings to the table.

The world may have a different view of how I have had you and your two brothers and in my heard I am wondering the best formula to live well in life and be a good father.
Many are in unhappy marriages and many fathers don’t even take care of their kids who live with them in the same house. Many fathers don’t even take responsibility for their children or even try to have a cordial relationship with their mothers, here am I doing all round to make sure you and your brothers live well,and we still have people who think I have committed an abomination for taking care of my kids and playing my role as a father and a very good one at that.
This is not an excuse for anyone reading this, I won’t wish my enemy to be in my shoes because I have to live with emotions of three different women (happy/sad).
This has taught me more patience, makes me double up the hustle to give all my Three kids a happy life and that’s my priority now and I don’t think there is a better way for a father to act.
My daughter you will become a better woman from the way you talk and how energetic you are I have no doubt you will make a big sister to your brothers and will always make me proud in everything in life.
You will excel in your academics, and when you grow old enough to read this, one thing is important and that is people will always want to confine you to live a certain way while covering their own sin to make your look so bad.
Everyone reading this has something they are hiding and will sit on social media to troll others and that’s the sad world we live in now where we cover up our own and talk about others.

A distraught Tennessee man has sued fast-food chain Popeyes, for running out of its popular chicken sandwiches which unexpectedly became an online sensation in the last few weeks.

Craig Barr accused Popeyes of false advertising, deceptive business practices and causing him to waste "countless time driving" to and from local chains to find the sandwich in the lawsuit he filed.

He also recalled being laughed at by his friends and also scammed of $25 by a man who posted a Craigslist ad claiming he could get sandwiches a restaurant was hiding in the back.

"I can't get happy; I have this sandwich on my mind. I can't think straight," he told the Times Free Press. "It just consumes you."

While the food company fast-food outlet is yet to release a statement on the lawsuit, Barr said he is seeking $5,000 in damages after suffering a tire damage and cracking one of his rims during the search.

Police operatives at Ikotun Division have arrested three men, who reportedly conspired and gang-raped two little girls aged 10, over a period of two years in Lagos.

Source reports that the incident happened at Egun in Igando area of Lagos State, where they reside in the same neighbourhood.

The suspects were Kenneth Victor, 31, Eugene Ojo, 29 and Qudus Afolagbe, 38.

The motive behind their engaging those little girls in constant abuse was not yet disclosed.

The Police alleged that the suspects had defiled the victims from 2017 till 2019 before the dastardly act was exposed by the victims. The victims were reportedly lured into their apartment where they engaged them in sex romp and warned them not to tell anyone what they did to them.

However, when the matter got exposed, the victims narrated how the suspects had subjected them to constant abuse. The matter was then reported to the Police Family Support Unit, Ikotun Division. The suspects were trailed and eventually arrested.

After interrogation, the Police found them culpable and charged them before the Ogba Magistrates Court for conspiracy and defilement which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The Court did not take their plea after the prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice because the matter involved two minors.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, ordered the defendants to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail. The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice. The matter was adjourned till 2nd September, 2019.
