Had my visa oct 2014. I applied for vacation to see my relative. In the course of the interview the v.o asked if i will use my visa for childbirth,i said yes if it comes. In jan 2015 i travelled for childbirth.it was successful. Now i've travelled again for another childbirth on that same visa. At poe dey asked my reason for coming i said vacation n childbirth.

Now i never sent a letter to d embassy for change of intent. Will this affect my renewal for a visa ?though this isnt my first visa as i had my first visa on student basis which i returned to naija after schooling. Thanks

As one cannot book only infant ticket, how do u do dis? BA says infant can't travel solo so u must add adult to it. I got $1200 for both infant & adult, return ticket- does this mean baby's ticket wil be $120? Pls help explain. Thanks lots

4- once you get a good combination, call the airline and tell them you want to add your baby to your ticket. If they ask for the itinerary, give them the dates you have searched. They should then give you a cost of 10% of that booking cost
After doing this my final ticket cost for baby was $91.66 and it was a non-refundable ticket but I didn't mind.
So far this worked for me on KLM and for another NL mum (who I shared the info with) traveling on BA.
I want to believe it should work for other airlines too.

Thanks for the concern. But nothing in there is for me. Thats all our host asked for and they usually want a lot of milk for the kids and other relatives. Will swap the noodles for any regular non-chicken flavour. Much appreciated.

On a serious note tho, If u need something to carry, pls invest in DATES. Studies show that eating dates in the last few wks of preg helps induce labor naturally & shortens the first stage drastically. So u might want to reconsider what u're packing

My exact thought!. How many months are u going for? Pls I think 4packs of milk and a cartoon of oriental noodles or other type of noodles without chicken written on it should be enough . Remember you have other foods stuff to carry plus u will also eat out. Don't carry what u dont or won't need.u will need the space to carry baby things back

Sometin happened at d POE dat rily Got me but I leaf am for God hand.
After d 45mins wait at secondary inspection,I went to baggage claim. Saw my luggage & one trolley man came. I also saw d other smaller carts but I didn't have any coin as is done in UK nor did I have smaller dollar denominations.
After I went to pee, tried my Atm cards to no avail, I realized it was such a short distance. I truly would hav done it myself but I was rily tired and didn't mind d Help. First thing I askd d Guy was how much? He said wotever comes from my Hrt. Dats wen I knew I Had entered American one chance. I told him specifically I needed to know cos I don't hav small notes, so dat I could ask d lady pickin me if she could Help. I had only $100 notes as I didn't envisage dis encounter. Wen my picker-uper came, I told her, she say make I no mind d man. Dat dats how dey extort money from visitors. Me I dey always carry my luggage myself o. But as a first time preggo, I no wan snap ligament for airport make dem talk say I no fit. Lol
Anyway, d man eventually told me $10 and I'm like "wot?!". "U chop craze?!". U need to see d short distance. And my bags had wheels. I would hav wheeled dem wit little or no stress. Na so my family friend bring out $2 notes and d man frowned. Later saw anoda $1 note added it. Cos she also didn't hav any smaller notes.
Na so d man start cursing himself. Started yapping. Dat dats why he can't trust Nigerians. Bla bla bla. I felt so bad. Person fart,dem call naija. Person shit, na naaija dem go call. See common trolley man wey com USA Hustle as I wan Hustle for my pikin, com dey yab me on top. Mnwhile na him cunny pass. $10 for trolley movement of 100meters? Multiply by currency exchange and u tell me if dats not enuf to take me to Abuja airport and bak! One luggage was 8kg. Second was 15kg. Twas actually 1 big luggage but I split it. I felt bad and stil feel sorry.
Lesson: Pls try and break ur money to $10 and $5 and even $1 notes o. To avoid stories dat touch d heart. Esp if u hav luggage. I could hav prevented dis encounter but was taken unawares.

All I did was arrive early to ensure that I had enough time to speak English to the airline officials and still meet up with my flight!

Just insisted that I was unable to process the visa in America due to logistics and will get a visa on arrival in naija

They checked and checked called manager etc but I insisted and I guess they assessed that I was no risk per se.

We arrived naija and I walked to the front to meet an immigration officer who walked me to the office and it was processed on the spot

My dear, I don't mind living without home Food. Thankfully I didn't have cravings till date. It's a mindset. If I no chop naija food for 3 months,i'll survive. Cravings or not. African store no even dey near me. In fact, to com my host house,na by invitation only. No bus. No taxis. Just mansions. . Unless u wanna spend $100 on taxi to go eat $20 food . I'll make do wit wot I have dear. Na dis forex wahala be my focus but God will deliver.

Thanks dear. I got $4000 PTA from naija. I additionally wanted to try Travelex at Heathrow Airport and Newark airport but didn't. My layover was just 2hrs and it flew like mad. Dats why I said people can try. Don't know if dey accept naira by atm card. No harm trying.

Feels so good but so sleepy.
Flew BA yday @32wks. Abuja to London Heathrow to Newark NJ. Wore a nice chiffon over sized blouse that hid 'it' very well & made Triplekmama (TKM) look smart, but was surprised my naija bros asked for fit-to-fly...that was nearly on my way out of checking in. I was impressed...I gave them d fotocopy
At emigration, one guy wan form they're pregnant, Lady officer vex, tell am say pregnancy no be disease, dat he for just beg say dem need help. Buh she allowed dem, wife, hubby & son. Na so TKM voiced out "do I get d same treatment as well?" 'Twas funny how some men spoke loudly "exactly!" Na so TKM jump queue unto d next step.
Flight was superb. BA no dey fall hand as usual. Food was good. Got 2 trays on request & plenty water. Yes, I took tomatoe juice with oyster sauce...don't try it. Forgot how awful it can be!
In flight entertainment: Superb. But after 1 movie, I truly ready liry needed to sleep! So I did.
Security check at Heathrow: uneventful 30 seconds.
Layover: about 2 hrs...connected to free airport wifi. Called home with Whatsapp call. Did som bank transactions. Checked my balance with their ATM. Regretted not trying Travelex for fear of rejecting naira. Pls try. No harm in trying. They can deduct from your card as they may not insist on cash. Paid for my salad & other grubs with my Access bank naija ATM. Dey deducted N4663 from me and I paid £8.75. Do d maths
Flight to Newark was just there. 7hrs. Bum bum already hurt so I stretched occasionally...to d galley...for more juice and water
Now to the main gbege...Newark port of entry. I didn't ask for wheelchair but dem plenty & no obvious advantage so no regrets. Just elderly pipo.

Being a Dr myself, I see a lot of flaws in my country's healthcare system with lots of preventable deaths, so my husband and I thot it wise to have d baby in USA as I already had a visa.

Na so my dear CBPO guy tell me say " pls ma'am, follow me". The almighty secondary inspection. I just weak. I wan ask if dem get toilet but changed my mind before dey think I'm nervous.
I was called by a cute black guy that mis pronounced my name but forgave him for d sake of cuteness. Pls stay alert cos u may not recognize ur name when it's called.
Cute Officer: so u here to have a baby?
Me: yes.
Cute Officer: where will u have ur baby? do u have a hospital yet?
Me: yes, St Peters hospital NJ.
Cute Officer: have u contacted them? Can I see a correspondence?
Me: ...making sure they see my neatly arranged burden of proof, I gave him my envelop labeled Hospital Matters, contains all naija & NJ hospital related stuffs. Also submitted my account statement. Asked me to take my sit.
20mins later.
Cute Officer: pls show me where in this account statement u have d money to cover the $17,000 bills I see here.
I explained the sheets to him, plus the fixed deposit. Asked if its same account and I said yes.
Me: person dey prepare dis thing before conception...no, before wedding sef
I also added I had $4,100 cash & his face brightened. I always like to give added info to whatever I'm asked but dis their straight faces they confuse person so pls follow your guts. I'm glad it worked for me cos he said "I see".
Cute Officer: after abt 10 mins, hands me my stuffs and says "Have a safe delivery".
Me: (forming not interested but jumping in thanksgiving in my mind): thank u very much, goodnight.
I was not checked in Agric cos I didn't declare anything.
I was stamped till April 2017.
Conclusion. Be prayerful & stay calm. I never panicked, I knew God was on my side and I was genuine & well prepared. God showed Himself true, even without carrying food, I was delayed by 45mins. Lesson: it's not by power or by might...its God who shows mercy.
Tried using airport Travelex but they fall hand. Couldn't even check account balance like in Heathrow. The hustle continues.
Sorry for the long post but I thought to share everything cos it's d tiny details that make d difference. Thanks to all on this forum esp d poster that talked of Abuja Area 11 Travelex. I'm still referring people there & it's working out. God bless you all.

If peradventure you are called for an interview,i would advice you get a new doctor and hospital correspondence you should reflect the price quoted in your budget sheet , all the same i think you are in order with $7k assumption,,most people that apply for visa on this thread usually gets quotes in that neighbourhood . If the issue come up,tell them it's cash/selfpay package ,they can contact the doctor if they are in doub.

I suggest u still do dropbox. Let dem be d ones to invite u then u submit ur receipts.
