YSPON: Once again, I want to say a big thank you to everyone for their contribution to the successful receipt of my Visa yesterday evening delivered by DHL to me at my work place.
It might interest you to know that I applied for this particular course (sponsored tho) thrice before being successful during my fourth attempt should help you keep the faith. Delay is not Denial and remember sometimes God may have other plans.
I pray for success to those waiting for admission/AM we shall all be successful.
To those I messaged low-key even when the waiting time was eating me deep thank you very much.
Anyone going to / knows anyone going to the University of Leipzig should kindly holla.
Much love. Congratulations boss, the grace of God is sufficient for us. I can't wait to write my story too. Never never give up |

ozyomar1: A.M. dropped yesterday. My journey started last year summer session. I had a national scholarship thinking, that could serve as sufficient proof of funding at the German embassy just like in other embassies. For where! despite my series of mails I was told I couldn't use that. They advised I give my sponsors my block account details to pay in the scholarship worth before I could be granted an interview date.
I deferred to winter session last year.. praying my sponsors would pay on time .To cut my story short they finally paid. Now I was faced with another battle getting an appointment from the embassy. My admission letter equally came in late. I tried all to no avail. The only thing I didn't do was to request Angela Merkel to write to them to give me an appointment.
It was hard, very hard but I started the journey again. This time I had my admission letter way before time. Interview was on 11/12/2017. Interview was cool, the lady who interviewed me was nice. Nothing outside from questions shared in this forum (Thanks guys). Please go with all of your documents. I carelessly went with just one copy of my motivational letter. I had to make a copy later.
My AM dropped yesterday but I didn't even notice till this morning.. exactly 6 weeks from my interview. I wouldn't say I wasn't tensed up. I was but I had confidence in God. Knowing He will complete what He started.
I wish all my fellow prospective scholars the best in their pursuits. Those waiting for admission letters or AM ..patience is the key. We will all get our dreams accompanished. All the best. RUB here I come Congratulations, more AM on the way |

Eke40seven: Check Goethe Lagos website for more details. I think you will get the cheapest and most standard teaching there. For those who stay in Portharcourt, I heard it's around 5 times the price. In Goethe, it should take 3-4 months to complete a level.. in Germany, it depends. Thank you so much, I have gone through Goethe website Fee - 55,000 Course Dates 2018 Term 1 08.01.2018-08.04.2018 Term 2 24.04.2018-21.07.2018 Term 3 11.09.2018-15.12.2018 Course Schedules 2018 Morning Classes: 8.30 am - 2.00 pm, 2 times / week Afternoon Classes: 2.30 pm - 6.00 pm, 3 times / week Evening Classes: 5.00 pm - 8.20 pm, 3 times / week |

BabaEuro: One thing is sure that jobs can't be gotten on a platter of gold. There are procedures one must follow in every country to succeed. Be ready to take the bull by the horn! Once you get the right qualification ,German language, work experience you are good to go. Who said one must work in Germany only? With your degree from German uni, there are ample opportunities for you in other EU countries not only in Germany . True , as difficult as Nigeria seems to be many still get job immediately after nysc. Every thing in life has it rules and guidelines, if you follow it then you will get the result. With the grace of God, hard work and smart work you can even get a job in the US or Canada or any where you want after your program |

BabaEuro: Gents and Ladies, got to embassy at 5:30am this morning and I met 3 guys on the queue. Paulinos arrived and instructed the police man to allow the students in first at 5:50am . So we were 3 at that time and I became no.2 . 1st ,2nd and 3rd students visa appointment please come in,arrange your documents in accordance with my instruction. "I told you to put the photocopies and the originals in one sit here,Paulinos yelled at me. You people have ears, try and hear with it!" He later commended me and the 3rd guy for properly arranging our documents and making available all photocopies, meanwhile the 1st guy wasn't allowed to move in due to missing photocopies. So,I became the first person to move in.
" Please give me the originals , your admission letter, your passport copies and 27,500 naira only. He entered some data into her system,ok, give me all the photocopies".
Please pick up the microphone. Now the interview:
1. Have you funded? 2. Are you going for Bsc or Msc? 3. Which course are you going for? 4. Why that course? 5. What did you study in your Bachelors? 6. When did you graduate? 7. What was you CGPA? 8. How did you apply? 9. How much did you pay as uni-assist fee? 10. Does your institution charge tuition fee? 11. Are you going to pay tuition fee? How much is your semester fee? 12. Why do you want to study in Germany? 13. Don't you have this course in Nigeria? 14. Did you check other country apart from Germany? 15. Why not USA ? 16. What do you know about Germany? 17. Which school did you graduate from? 18. What was your undergraduate thesis topic? 19. What's the thesis all about? 20. Who was your supervisor? 21. Do you have any relative in Germany or Europe? Are you sure? 22. Are you working? 23. Are you married? where is your marriage certificate? 24. How many children do you have? 25. What are your plans after your study? Please take your passport and the visa fee receipt Thank you, we will get back to you through email.
The young lady that interviewed me typed every thing into her system. She was cool anyway!
I found out that after arranging my documents ,prior to my entry into the interview domain,Paulinos have a list of all persons that booked appointment for that day and he thicked my name against it. O boy I was shocked to my bone marrow! I was the third guy |

I have been trying to upload my Passport ID and it refuses to save for the last 4 days.
I guess the server may be down or possibly due to the public holidays. I will give it a try tomorrow and see what happens.
Has anyone been successful with photo ID on Fintiba platform in the last 4 days? Hallo leute, I was in your shoes few months ago Am sure you will get a response if you submit. Sometimes it takes days especially during the holiday, remember banks don't work on holiday. If you have any other issue contact me |

Talk2bryant: How do I book an appointment for verification of documents, I've combed through the German embassy website and I can't see the link.
Is it a must a verify my documents? I have been offered an admission for this summer session and I've booked an appointment for 8th January 2018. If yes, can I still meet up for my verification, I plan to do it this week. Certification of documents is for admission , after getting admission I don't think you need to certify your documents again, just take all the documents required for interview. My interview is 8th too Please am I right |

ibnkokumo: I think you're good to go and can study in English use www.daad.de to search if this course is available in English, you might need to submit proof of English certificate like IELTS/TEOFL check first, schools like Hochschule Rein Waal University of Applied Sciences should have it in English, I think they now pay 1500 euro in that school, most courses are taught in English. visit school website by clicking this link: https://www.hochschule-rhein-waal.de/en and please, contact the school admission/international office, inform them about your situation before applying so it won't result to waste of time and resources, application is via Uni-assist Boss, how far, when is interview na |
