We couldn't commence our June/July 2008 NECO SSCE exams as stated due to the NUT strike so our NECO SSCE exams began on the sixth of august 2008. For those familiar with school calender, secondary schools are supposed to be on vacation during that period. We the SS3 students were left in school alone with no staff to disturb us so for the first time in my secondary school history, I understood the full meaning of the word FREEDOM.
I don't drink but on this particular day, we held a party in the hostel and I struggled with other students for provisions, couldn't get food but at least, I got a big bottle of chelsea dry gin. I decided to drink it alone so I sneaked into a nearby bush, gulped virtually every content of the bottle and omo, the drink sweet oh. I been dey drink am like water.
Later, the drink began to manifest and I went insane. At first, people thought I was just acting but when they saw me lift bunks, boxes, lockers, . . . they discovered it was otherwise. I stripped myself completely neiked, chased all my classmates so they were running, I was still chasing them, chasing them, chasing them . . .(of course, I didn't know where I was again).
Soon they stopped and started singing as I continued 'intimidating' them for a while but these guys weren't running again. Rather, they ware pusing me around . . . I later saw myself on the floor and then people emptying water on my body(I was already shouting my daydreaming fantasies with the girls in my school then).
I later got myself a bit and it took me a short while to regain consciousness and when I finally did, I discovered myself in front of our female hostel, stark neiked with sand and water covering me. Meanwhile, virtually all the SS# students(both male and female) were there. I was in their midst(as in, I was surrounded by them all) . . .
