Congo Dr doesn't recognize dual citizenship but used players with dual citizenships...now left for us to pursue it logically without given any loopholes....good we have a Nigerian,a reputable SAN who is my big brother as member of FIFA Ethics committee On point. 👍🏿 |

lbrichman2: Remember NFF got $4m just last year when we finished 2nd.. Now they'll get $2.5 for 3rd place. Tomorrow dem go open mouth say NFF is broke.. They'll been selling this false narrative for years, while they loot and embezzle these funds It's easy to criticize from the outside, when you get in...you will see it's not so easy. NFF is basically borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. The $2.5m you mentioned has already being swallowed by expenses. Recall bonuses were renegotiated at the AFCON. NSC will advance the funds but the NFF has to retire said Advanced funds to balance the books. |

9JAMac10: What i expect Morroco to do is man mark Alex Iwobi, don't allow him freedom to receive the ball, block all passing channels.
SuperEagles will be facing their biggest challenge yet. I get faith we will win this game. This your suggestion does not make sense tactically, some folks suggested same against Algeria, it did not happen. |

U TheSuperNerd: It was not a 4231 structure. You make it sound like we didnt see Onyeka venture forward on the right half space (as RCM) trying a few crosses and that first shot of the first half that was blocked.
Iwobi also fell back (hardly happened as we were on the front foot almost throughout) when out of possession flanking Ndidi to the left. It was a christmas tree diamond 4-3-1-2 structure in defence. Ndidi central, Onyeka (Right), Iwobi (Left) in front of yet compact with the backline of 4.
When attacking it morphed into 3-4-3 or 3-2-5 depending on the positions of the fullbacks pushing upwards. Whenever we get the ball, Osayi and Bruno push up, Ndidi falls behind to the CBs forming a 3 man wall leaving Iwobi and Onyeka a bit centrally deep but also towards the half spaces of the field. You Sabi ball. |

AAA593: The super eagles may likely experience the worst officiating in the game against Morroco. The current CAF president is so corrupt and this afcon has witnessed the highest level of corruption in afcon history.
The level of favour on Morroco is just too much. I don't know why every host nation must win afcon under this current CAF president. He almost did same against super falcons but God intervened.
Nigeria is playing against CAF president, Morroco nation, Morroco players, the Ref and his linesmen. Only God will prevail on Wednesday.
Get ready to see cheap free kicks, fouls, penalty etc in favour of Morroco. VAR will used for fouls against Nigeria but will not be used against Morroco. Na team wey see ball play go use cheap free kicks, fouls, penalty etc to get favor. Morocco no go see ball. |

Blueelf: I am not satisfied with the answer I have gotten so far from this thread
Why did Mali not hold on to chelle? He's the only thing NFF has gotten correct in decades.
Who advised NFF to go for chelle? Because those guys are too dumb to recognise coaching talent when it's staring them in their face. Someone with actual working brains must have lent NFF some of his functioning brain to make that decision
There are some things I just need to understand
Cc thesupernerd, mujtahida, thegoodjoe Eric Chelle left the Malian Job because the Malian FA was trying to impose players on him. Even the Malian President tried to intervene but Chelles mind was made up. Eric Chelle was the front runner before Finidi was appointed (USA 94 players influenced the sports minister then). Give Eguavoen and the Technical Committee Kudos where it is due. There were only about 4 of us on this forum who supported his appointment then. We saw what we are enjoying now.. |
