Philosopher1979: His using ekong in a 4 man defence is baffling and horrible. He used him against South africa and he conceded a goal. Now he is making the same mistake. Why awaziem was not invited is a mystery. Chelle should be sacked immediately after this match even if we win. I don't care anymore. We have horrible catches calm down brother...you are too emotional |

elyte89: Looking at other groups, where second and third-placed teams already have 15 points or more, you can see there’s real competition. Yet, in our own group where one team even had points deducted there’s hardly any serious competition. Despite that, our so-called star-studded team is still struggling to even make the playoffs. It’s honestly an eyesore. Shey we be tell Una this was going to happen years back. |

South Africans are already planning for the worst in case they don't qualify. They are talking about the Calvin Bassey handball. According to them it should not have been given as a goal. They plan to request for a replay or get FIFA to dock us 3 points. Source:Online chatter. |

Congratulations to the U20 boys for making it to the round of 16. This is tournament football, anything can happen. Group stage performance is not a reflection of how far a team can go in the tournament. It's just hard work and "Luck" going forward. Wish the boys all the best. |

Goke7: For me they are a wise nation taking advantage of their very close proximity to Europe.
We too can be wise if we can improve our administration of get 21st century soccer administrators not this analogue ones that can’t attract enough of those foreign born. Amaju pinnick as much as I don’t like him did well in attracting those good enough foreign born players Morocco has invested heavily in scouts and cultural integrators. Potential players are identified as early as 13 years and the work starts from there. |

From being 5-time world champions and most successful team to missing three editions in a row. Something is seriously broken. Shame Yeah..we keep going to the archives to exhume dead coaches. |

This 3 point deduction for the Southies is exactly what I have been waiting for. They have been effing assured thru out these qualifiers (very unusual). This seed of doubt has been planted at just the right moment. They will surely bottle on of those matches. |

This Rohr issue again. Our team declined...we agree, our play was poor...we no argue...we lost to minnows...yes...but.... No one has been able to explain how come we always qualified for tournaments with a game or two to spare. Thru out Rohr time..we no use calculator one day. |

lexyman: Sacking Rohr was one of the best decisions, given SE's drastic decline and poor performance. As I've said before, Rohr's success with Benin Republic stems from individual brilliance and player determination. If he were SE's coach, he'd likely face the same struggles as he's always relied heavily on a few star players. His coaching style focuses on individual talent rather than tactical acumen, Rohr was so poor tactically poor substitutions and game management. Let's not forget his past shortcomings and instead focus on the team's dedication moving forward. Chelle’s approach has been promising, and with a bit of luck, we can still qualify for the World Cup Yes he was poor tactically.. but we always qualified for competitions with 2 games or a game to spare. |
