Saw this earlier today but needed to confirm it and Anel Avdic has done just that.

Newcastle Utd joins the race (trying to hijack from Brighton, Leipzig withdrew due to bidding war)..... 24-25Million Euros + rumored extra 5M (performance related) on the table for Zadok Yohanna

Newcastle is a better fit for Zadok. He fits their style perfectly.

Madam, 4 years ago we got a hiding from Portugal (World Cup Bound) The wailing here was laughable. Players wey suppose dey rest u expect them to break their bones against Portugal and Poland. Let's play a high ranked team in the right situation and condition, we will hold our own.

As it stands, we may have to start a campaign on Twitter to force Gala and Athletico to release Osimehen and Lookman.

I can't stand not watching our full squared against some of the best teams in the world angry
I don't understand, what is all the wailing for? Meaningless friendly that only helps our ranking? Osimhen wants to sort his club situation according to Chelle and Lookman's club requested he be excused. Make Una clam down.

Norway's Final WC Squad.... 2026. Their first since 1998.

Would Senegal upstage this team? Time will tell. Same group with France and Iraq.

Hi
TheSuperNerd:
Morocco just added a really fine young midfield talent balling for LOSC Lille in Ligue 1.

Ayyoub Bouaddi.... 18y/o.

It has been rumored for a while but it is confirmed now. He will be at the World Cup (Obviously they assured him of a world cup slot and key playing time in their ranks). Morocco's midfield just got stronger.

I am also hearing rumors of Plymouth's Owen Oseni, 23 from the EFL League one. An Irish-Nigerian born Striker.

Abdul Abdulmalik, 23 of Boreham Wood FC in the National league that just recently lost out in the final of the National league playoff final for promotion to EFL League Two seems another rumored mention. National league is 5th tier football in England but the lad looks promising.

Time will tell who actually makes the Unity Cup list.
Are we moving forwards or backwards? There should be standards for earning an invite. Not trial and error.

I saw rumors that Gala has set their asking price at 150M
If the clubs are not ready to pay that and Gala are not ready to sell way below that amount then I don't think there is anything Osimhen can do about that
I have said it earlier..if Mourinho is confirmed as Madrid's new coach, his first signing is Osimhen. Asking price or not. He is good at convincing players to join a project.

PSG offered Napoli €200m for Osimhen and Kavra, Dey Laurentiis said no. At the end they both left for less.

Thank you. Immediately after the U17 WC triumph in 2015. In same 2015, Siasia included him in the squad for the U23 Afcon. Not used until the semis and his introductio was impactful. Even Siasia himself knew... anyone following that U23 afcon knew. Till today, that is the only U23 Afcon title we won. Etebo was top scorer I believe.
Yeah..Etebo was on fire....ran the Algerian's ragged in the finals. They only way to stop him was to being him down..he won that final for us.

And this is exactly the nonsense narrative I am avoiding.

I did not discover Osimhen. I never said I did. And that was never the point. You are deliberately using "discoverer" to cover or infact dodge the point.

When Osimhen was yet to "blow", there were some of us in this thread who already pictured him as the next big thing and staunchly stood by our belief in his talents despite his struggles at Wolfsburg. That is the point. From 2015 to 2017 and then to his first senior pro goal in 2018, we were here even in the face of major negative statements like he wont fit in at the U23s of Championship sides.

So again, no one is dragging anything with anyone here. Just set the records straight and dont try to be clever shifting the conversations to make it a kind of tussle for discoverer tag. No one here discovered Osimhen and it was never the point of discussion.
Osimhen straight from the U17 world cup, was left on the bench by Sia Sia for the U23 Afcon. Came on in the semifinals against Senegal in the second half and changed the game. Thats when I knew .........

It's really sad Uche Left Getafe to be a bench warmer at struggling crystal palace
I hope he finds his place back at Getafe
So many of our players make the wrong move all in the name of playing in the big league
From Aribo to Tolu
Just looked at how people have turned their backs on Tolu the same people that were happy he moved to Wolves
One is even saying he should go and find his level in Turkish league
The same Tolu just last year was saving us in the world cup qualifies
Point of correction...Uche was loaned to Crystal Palace with an option to buy against his will. He was Loaned so Getafe could meet FFP regulations. Hopefully he rediscovers his form on his return to Getafe.

If true, this is sad for Tolu
I know the prestige of playing in the EPL and the increased wages will always be attractive..
But joining the EPL bottom club was not a good move..
The memory of Onuachu's and Aribo's misfortune with Southampton is still fresh in my memory..

It's well
Yeah..make e find em level for Turkish League.

I think this is fair. Let the Senior players focus on executing the Poland and Portugal games.

New legs like Fernandez, Nwaiwu, etc should play the Unity Cup with maybe few of them joining the main squad for the 2 top friendlies.

This is the right move. What is the motivation to play the friendlies after a long season? rest and more rest on their mind.
