Truidstarr: Hopefully our defence gets better as they progress at the AFCON, but we have to face the reality that the probability of us conceding in a game is 80%. We have to adopt the Barcelona Strategy....Outscore our opponents. |

Hi codemaniacs: with all that's happening in Nigeria in the 3 months this is what you are saying
it was always about sabotaging the Super Eagles..
all these years Nigeria did not go after zerrorists.
then suddenly after zrump threatens to invade Nigeria then Nigeria starts getting tough on zerrorists..
S.E has been playing 2 man midfield since Eguavon was the coach so if the S.E wants to be un-beatable then both the players and NFF know what to do but they intentionally not going to do it. Brother calm down...Wetin u dey rant for? How my post take concern Eguavoen and Trump? |

JohnBullMySon: Na that penalty make me hate Chelle. He just stood there like an ediot. Ekong wey be our taker and captain should've been brought on last minute. He go bring Awaziem. Semi Ajayi as last penalty taker how? Do you know if these were the best penalty takers during the practice? Make Chelle enter field take penalty for them? Even the best players miss penalties in high pressure situations. |

SymphonyRad: OK let me take you down memory lane
AFCON 2022 Nigeria vs Tunisia in the knockout stage
We went one man down in the open half when Iwobi got sent off and literally capitulated, failing to play with any urgency or structure like a team that needed to make or break until the dying minutes when it was too late
Nigeria vs Zimbabwe wasn't too long ago, scored in the 77th or so minute only to concede in the 89th minute? WCQ
Almost lost a lead to a Lesotho team that had nothing to play in our laborious 2-1 win- WCQ
Need I mention more? We were onevman down against Zimbabwe and Lesotho? We were already a goal down against Tunisia before the red card. We did not capitulate as we had 55% possession in that game. Please give me a recent game where we capitulated after a red card. |

CapitalCee: Lol. -Same Senegal than won their 3 matches in the last AFCON, yet comot for round of 16. The other examples I can remember just from the top of my head are.
-Morroco last AFCON, they won all their matches and was knocked out by SA that barely qualified.
-Same thing Morroco did in 2019, they lost to Benin that in the Round of 16, Benin had 3 points in the Group stage. Egypt in the samme tournament won all their group matches, then lost to SA that qualified with 3 points after losing their first 2 matches.
-Nigeria won all their matches including Egypt that later made the Final, we lost to Tunisia that was ravaged by Covid. There are several other examples. I have some issues with the game agaisnt Tanzania, but Tournament winners are not determined by the first match. Exactly. |

Up ChrisKels: When Akor and Chukwueze were subbed out, Oliseh; I don't see any meaning in this substitution because you don't make such subs at this stage of the game. At this stage you need your best players in the game, not sub them out.
10 minutes later after seeing the impact of Bashir and Simon, same Oliseh; Yea, that's why they were brought in to provide width. You know...when your team is finding it difficult going through the middle, you introduce players that can play from the wing. (That's same Oliseh praising the substitution he criticised 10minutes ago)
Everything about that man disgusts me. 😂😂😂😂 |

Philosopher1979: Yeah. To get a good coach is easy. Just look at an African team that is well coached. The Tanzanian team is well coached. Get rhe coach for us. Chelle is just mediocre. 4 4 2 for 90 minutes is not really our best. We can only okay 4 4 2 for at most 60 minutes. Oliseh comments were very very accurate. We are victims of bad coaching. We are victims of bad coaching. We are victims of bad coaching. It's getting boring to say U no dey tire to complain?? |
