Let's just hope Nwabali recovers on time to play in later stages Why do you feel he cannot lead us to the AFCON final? If Okoye Starts well he will continue till the Final |

Amedino99: where una dey see this list His coach at Pisa confirmed he has been called up and will miss several matches. If one has contacts of all the clubs on the original 54 man list, it's pretty simple to defice who is in or not. Nice addition in our midfield. |

TheGoodJoe: Nice point but we have hardly had a team compromising of only (mostly) black players dominating football. However, what we are seeing happening was already in the making.
Arsenal had a team that went on a strong run that were mostly black players.
Apart from the Keeper - Seaman the team had.
Sol Campbell, Kolo Toure, Lauren, Ashley Cole, Gilberto Silva, Viera, Wiltord, Henry, Quincy and Penant. When they played, they were destructive and I have always looked forward to black teams rising.
Another was apart from Cech, Carvalho and Lampard, Chelsea had Ashley Cole, Alex, Bosingwa,Mikel Obi, Essien, Anelka, Drogba and Malouda.
With the evolution of the man to man tactics growing, football will need more running and I see more teams filled with black players. You have a good point. Right now Madrid with 8 black players on the pitch completely dominating Athletic Bilbao. They are winning back loose balls and passes in the midfield with ease. Alonso is learning fast. |

zoboizee: Nigeria's chances of making it out of the group stage in the forthcoming Nations cup is very slim. They are either going to draw or lose to Tunisia & Uganda and probably draw against Tanzania. Tunisia & Uganda have strong h2h against Nigeria & they are still a very good sides. The two being whom they are, the eagles will struggle big time. Says the Prophet. We heard this at the last nations cup. What was the end result? |

I feel for those expecting great performances in the Afcon from players who will not be ready to risk injury so they can be back injury free for their clubs in January Na so Una talk say SE no go pass first round for last AFCON, I have said it here severally... Hi Philosopher1979: Ah. The stone that was rejected has become the corner stone. At this point since we don't even care where you play. Only the okayers contribution to the team. Let us try kelechi nwakali in our midfield. Our midfield to be honest is too average and that was thr major problem against congo. O know nwakali opponents will shout. But....we lack midfielders. Na u talk this thing? |

BascoVanVeli: Did u see how shocked the Moroccans looked after scoring the winner? They had the look of people who knew they were dead in the water. This is a great learning experience for Finidi George and Rivers United. Nobody expected them to make it out the group but I am very encouraged with the fact that they have been competitive in both matches. They failed to take advantage of their counter attacks. Finidi did not have a game plan. |

Sarsaparilla524: Where was it stated that he has been capped by Italy ,sir?. Go through the post again. Like I said sir, Please do your research before posting. 1. Michael Folorunsho is currently playing for Cagliari on loan from Napoli. Not Bari as you stated in your post. 2. Michael Folorunsho has been capped by Italy in a Friendly ( His heart has been set on playing for the Italian National team) and he is not an option for us as you erroneously stated in your post. |

Sarsaparilla524: Midfielders who can add depth and quality to the Nigerian midfield
Faustino Anjorin (Empoli, England): Chelsea academy graduate, currently at Empoli. He has represented England at youth level but remains eligible for Nigeria at senior level
Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal, England): Rising Arsenal star, England youth international, and eligible for Nigeria. He hasn’t played for England’s senior team, so a switch is still possible.
Tim Iroegbunam (Everton, England): Former England youth international now playing for Everton. Still eligible for Nigeria and has a profile similar to Wilfred Ndidi.
Michael Folorunsho (Napoli/Bari, Italy): Italian-born midfielder playing for Bari on loan from Napoli. He has not played for Nigeria yet and remains an option.
Malik Olayiwola (Everton, England): Has featured for England youth sides but remains uncapped at senior level, so his eligibility for Nigeria is intact.
Adeyemi Adewale (Germany): German youth international with Nigerian heritage; expressed openness to representing Nigeria at senior level. Michael Folorunsho that has already been cap tied by Italy? Or is there another one? Abeg make Una do research before posting. |
