Reinforced concrete roads are better and more durable than asphalt. They are also very workable in terms of making additional features to the pavement, without tearing down large sections. With the help of mechanised power tools, a failed section can be upgraded in a short time. |

Namaster: People on this thread keep saying "they don buy market". Only people who don't know the people of the South South say this. Especially the ijaws.
The military don't fuuuck with them. The military only intimidate people in the SW and SE. They don't Bleep with the North and SS.
These guys were ambushed in a creek. SS is filled with creeks that are deadly to outsiders, including the military.
We all saw the way the Nigerian Delta Avengers blew out the brains of the Navy team that went near them a few years ago. Bros if you remembered what happened in Udi or even the early 2000s in Port Harcourt you won't say this. |

Clever move. The Chinese are now a force to reckon with on the global scale of things. Imagine if we couldn't speak English, that would have brought it's own limitations. Language is power. Inasmuch as our ethnic dialects are less developed, its not a minus to learn new ones. That's why polygots are in hot demand. |

seunmsg: This is Victory for democracy and the rule of law. Kudos to our eminent jurists for standing firm despite social media bullying and affirming the credibility of the 2023 election and defending the integrity of our constitution. Big Congratulations to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all patriotic lovers of our country who stood on the side of truth despite the hatred and bullying by the losers.
For the sore losers who are so desperate for power that they decided to fight very dirty in a way and manner we've never seen before in this country, i say it's time to put accept defeat and congratulate the winner. Losing is a part of democracy and those who can't accept the result of a credible process like the 2023 election don't deserve the joy of victory in the future. In fact, they should purge themselves immediately of all the anti-democratic behaviors they have displayed since the election was won and lost in February.
To Mr President, i urge him to be magnanimous in victory. This is not the time for vendetta despite the unnecessary attacks that were directed at him. He's the father of the nation and he must behave as such. He should extend a hand of fellowship to the losers and concentrate his energy towards uplifting the economy of the country going forward. You lost me at your second line "Kudos to our eminent jurists for standing firm despite social media bullying and affirming the credibility of the 2023 election and defending the integrity of our constitution." The so called jurists lack the character of capable jurists. It's easy to know one. Watch the 1957 film "12 Angry Men" you'll get. |

Shame on us! A certain minister once said Ajaokuta was 98% complete and had been rehabilitated for production.
What happened to the efforts of the previous government? Why is the current minister going over what seems to have been done by the last government? If there were any issues discovered, can he communicate that to the citizens. Nigerians are tired of games. We are also tired of inadequacy. Why can't we have a functioning aluminium and steel industry. Delta Steel and Alscon in Ikot Abasi share similar plight. |
