Honestly, we have a bleak future with the duo. I only hope that an Atiku presidency will lead to good appointments and freedom of expressions by the appointees, who will lead us out of the current economic quagmire. Also, we need to rework our federal character where every part of the country will be duly represented, cut down some excessive powers of the executive as well and prone down the salary structure of our legislature. For God's sake, how can a president appoint an INEC chairman? just like our a football team appointing a referee to officiate in a match it's to participate in. 11 Likes 1 Share |

If Osun Election is a flash of what we should expect in 2019 general elections, then I can tell you that we are in for serious troubles. Never in our history has an election been so rigged and derided by lack of freedom and fairness. Sadly, we are worse than where we came from. This was the same thing obtainable during Obasanjo's era. Election rigging is old fashioned, but not in APC's Nigeria. They run the state, control the crippling economy and control security outfits which they us to achieve their party goals. For me, we have drifted beyond remedy as a country; there's no gain-saying. The APC aren't better than the PDP we knew. Infact, the PDP seemed better after all. The fight will continue until we find a solution such as secession.
