Today's Maidana should knock Amir Khan out - even the raw Maidana he fought back then rocked him a few times and would've knocked him out, if not for the ref. Mayweather fought Maidana cos he earned it by beating Broner. Victor Ortis earned it by fighting like a warrior and defeating undefeated Andre Berto (back then).

As for the rest, they were poor fighters handpicked for Manny. Perhaps, he needs to fight Manny. He's qualified

Of course I know Broner has never been in the ring with any of the two but if not for his brotherly relationship with Floyd he would have gotten his own shot. The Maidana Kahn beat and Mayweather was asking Kahn to fight Broner as undercard for his Maidana 1 fight, haba bro you know Kahn is better than that. Don't foget Floyd struggle against Judah and Kahn easily KO him and that is the only fight that Floyd glove touch floor.

On pure boxing talent - Khan definitely doesn't deserve it.

I actually thought he was going to retire after Garcia knocked him out cos if Roach couldn't fix his glass jaw, I thought no one would be able to. But I must admit, Virgil Hunter has done a great job thus far to revive his career...but Khan is just there, nothing special.

But can you compare Kahn to Maidana, Victor Ortis, Rio, Algier, Broner etc he is better than them and yet they got their fat pay check against Manny and Floyd. People just like to disrespect him, Rio and Algier were not proven by A list fighters when they got their shots. Abeg make una let Kahn earn this fat paycheck before him retire o.

I really rated Khan when I first saw him at Manchester 2002 Commonwealth games. He was lightning quick then, and he's even quicker now.

On his day, he puts on a clinic in the ring. He controls the ring very well, and knows how to use the angles. He's so confident in his skin, that he's sometimes happy to surrender the centre, and destroy his opponent from the outside(Zab Judah 2011).

His major problems are over-confidence(He's good...but not as good as he thinks) and most importantly....THAT GLASS JAW.

That lack of chin means that he'll never be considered a great. Which is rather unfortunate...cos he has almost everything else in his locker

The weak chin is his problem but Kahn has power too look at his body shot that dropped Maidana in the very first round. He is even better now and he deserve that Mayweather fighter, though I agree his not on the same level with Mayweather and Pacquiao but he is the third on P4P list. Rio is not even in top 10 yet he got a shot against Manny. I think the fight will happen.

If manny keeps close and tight to Prettyboy all through the fight, If He can maintain the same level of intensity all through the rounds, He has an absolutely massive chance(Make it a brawler's contest rather than a Boxers). If not It's May. People tend to forget Mayweather in addition to being one of the most supremely gifted BOXER of all time is also one of the hardest worker in the history of Sport(Yes u heard that right. With the talk of Mayweather retiring after this match with Pac, I doubt if he will fight Khan.

However, if money is thrown around, anything can happen. A fight with Khan will surely bring in more $$$ and sponsors compared to Pac.

I agree that Floyd is fast and Khan has taken a few shots in his career but with the right training regime and focus, he can secure a win against Floyd.

I think the fight will happen, the money on that fight is next to this MayPac. I don't think Money want to retire without such money and to be honest after this fight, Amir Kahn is the next for Floyd and I think Amir Kahn has earned it.

Maidana is another great fighter but usually poor fight approach, he should have won against Kahn had it been he was relentless like he is now. Look at what he did to Victor Ortis and Broner. If Kahn face him now, Maidana will most likely put him to sleep

I know as at last year based on newspaper reports, Khan really wanted to fight Mayweather so I was kinda dissapointed to hear that Pac got the slot.

Khan can pull a win based on his pace. He also needs to be well focused before the match with his training and physique on point.

Yea, I still think the fight will happen. Kahn has a lot of fans in Uk and Middle East, it will most likely break box office records but I don't think he can pull a win against Floyd, Flody is fast, even Kahn said he is the only person that can give Money tough time but I don't think so after watching is fight against Alexander.

The bolded shows you don't understand boxing, Bradley and Marquez that beats Manny were challenger. Manny get to call the shots, same thing Mayweather did to him now. It is the rule! 24 days to fight does not make sense ha, he can still juice up 15 days to the fight but after that he can't really use it again unless he want to mess up his mental state, that was why they demanded 14 days prior to fight.

Does Manny hit harder than Canelo? Mayweather schooled Canelo with is power, power is not going to do much in this fight because we all know Manny can't KO Floyd. He is the most dedicated and hardworking boxer. He knows he is coming into this fight with so much at stake, if the noise flying around does not get to him mentally, I am sure he will give us typical Floyd

I just feel this fight is another Sugar Ray Leonard vs Hagler. Floyd will maintain his distance with his continous jab as usual and use counter punch when Manny backing out after each combination, Manny will work him in and out using speed and good combination. By round 5 upward Manny will attempt to push hard with power shots. It will go the distance, Floyd will most likely win on points
