Music/Radio › Re: A Top Nigerian Artist Just Offered Him 5M To Buy His Song... Should He Sell? by Truth234(m): 9:15am On Apr 04, 2015 |
USAutoBuy: A song is a funny thing. It can be a monster hit or a flop. Either way, my advise is that DON'T SELL 100% like some people already mentioned. Ask for like N4m and retain something like 20-25% stake. If its a flop, you gain something and if its hit, you will gain as well.
There is a man who got frustrated with Apple Inc. in the beginning of the company and sold his 10% stake for few thousands of dollars. He now lives in a Caravan somewhere on govt. pension. Apple is a multi-billion $$$ company now.
If i am not mistaken, King Sunny Ade did not have the right to his 1st album. Guess what, he has been trying to buy the right since he became famous and he has been unsuccessful. Not even at any price.
This song might not be successful with the artist but can be a runaway success if another artist sings it in different format. You will still make money. Nothing is like a residual income.
Just like voting, we have matured, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO VOTE WITHOUT A PVC CARD. NO MORE. Nigeria will soon evolve in the entertainment world that entertainment royalty will be looked upon very well.
Whoever, is offering you N5m for the song possibly know something you don't. Sell it but not all.
Good luck Bro you speak my language, Ronald Wayne, sold it's apple share for $800, that same 10% stake would have been worth approximately $60 billion going by $700 billion evaluation. |

bonechamberlain: most of this guys were not Democratic leaders, Kaunda spent 27 years in power, mehn he is not the only one in the country.. u can't compare that to what gej did, after just one term decides to step down. that's statesmanship that no president in nigeria even the coward of ota cannot be given. .. I think obj the self righteous man is a disgrace to leadership in Africa. only in Nigeria that an ex president would overtly undermine a sitting president because of his selfish, primitive and parochial interest. he should learn from the likes of abdulsalam, ibb, shagari, even buhari on the essentials of being a statesman. GEJ step down you said? Guy he lost election |

I beg go sit down, nobody knows boko haram and they do not have known families. Asari have families and investments, trust me this is an empty threat. deletrue: For those who are jibulating prematurely, I want to remember that this is the typical nature of Nigerians today. From independence to date. This has been the way newly elected leaders are celebrated. There has not been no leader who do not receive praise especially at the early days. Be informed that if care is not taken, this government will produce the worse records. Am also waiting for the first 100 days if there will be boko haram. I feel for GEJ who since entering into power do not experience peace. All things being equal, Buhari will receive much more than the frustrations he, the people of the north east and other. And for you who are pdp friends, members, I advise you stand up firmly against apc. Do not ever forget how your leader GEJ was delt with. Stand very firmly and in oneness and start off the same ways your Boss was frustrated. Do not feel otherwise. You have what it takes to deal with apc. Your frustration self pass GEJ own o haba |

This is a bit too early but then you have a point that is worth looking into. Though I doubt there will be marginalization of any region in the new administration but if any we will reignite the fight for equality in all fairness to all tribes and regions.
The same way we demand change from GEJ administration we will do so for Buhari. Nobody is bigger than Nigeria, we will no longer condone complacency and incompetency from any of our political leaders, we elect them to serve us and if they fail to do so we will aligned solely to kick them out. |

There is verified recording out there and GEJ refuse to even look into it. The new administration might do just that. Really Fayose, Koro and FFK get big issue. |
Politics › Re: Jega's Announcement Of Presidential Election Results 2015: Part 4 by Truth234(m): 3:30pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
t2luv: This election was over before it even started. The moment the SW people opt out of the PDP alliance anyone with a grain of intellect could have seen the writing on the wall that APC was going to win the election. I am very sorry to say this, GEJ might have being a good man, but a politician he ain't. Any good politician could have seen this coming from a mile away. The SW knows that with GMB, the number two spot was theirs, and what does GEJ has to offer to counter that. Promises!!!!. Like the saying goes. I know love is blind, but it ain't too blind that I can't see. His approach to this election was totally wrong, he released Mustapha, empowered Opc, Okupe and support FFK, people that are not wanted in their states, hence, they failed him, to worsen things his supporters were more concerned about Lagos among SW states. I just don't understand FFK and the likes, this people know better yet they collect money. |

t2luv: That was exactly what I have been saying from the start. Even if PDP wins all the votes from the SS, and SE I just don't see how they were going to get the 25% in 24 states. APC on the other hand has the inside track to the 25% in 24 states. What I found amazing looking at the result, in 2011 Buhari total votes from all the SW states was just a bit over 400,000, this time around he has won all the states in that region, with Ekiti being the exception. The SW won the election for GEJ in 2011, and now the SW is losing him the election. That is just the fact looking at the numbers. You are very right but a lot of people just don't see it that way until now. |

I'm not sure any northerner is still in the East let alone vote. Hmm..Not enough to win Nasarawa or record 215,779 in Kano, the truth is the people from that region voted for PDP why East won't do the same for Hausa man. |
