Emeka71: Mayweather is more of a defensive boxer. He will definitely win the fight if they complete 12 rounds. Sure of that Floyd Mayweather will win Manny Pacquaio by points. Except otherwise for Manny Pacquaio to seek a knock-out Which will definitely be hard to get against Floyd Mayweather. His defense is mainly his shoulder roll and remember Manny is a Southpaw and throw punches from odds angle both of them have not faced a fighter like them, so it is just hard to tell. The two fighters that gave Manny tough time are Bradley and Marquez, they are aggressive fighters like Manny and throw many punches a round which clearly Mayweather doesn't do unless he is coming in with a total different strategy this time. It is just hard to tell. |

The problem is every mayweather opponent always say the same thing but when they get into the ring they do another thing. It is just hard to hit Floyd and if there is anyone that can do that its Manny because of his speed and combinations, mayweather does not react when you throw punches, he counter punch you when you are backing out, if Manny work him in and out with good combinations and refuse to chase him round the ring Manny will win the fight because its a known fact that Mayweather usually lose the first 3 rounds against tougher opponents, that is how long it take him to figure them out. He is the most adaptable and adjustable boxer but if Manny refuse to be reckless like he did against Marquez he has a chance.
The winner won't be the best fighter/boxer but the most mentally and technically sound. The mind games going on with this fight is as huge as its hype. |

Even when he instituted the Confab of 2014, he didn't provide a legal framework but chose to subject the report to the NASS rather than the people. You and I knw that we can't get anything from the NASS. Jonathan may have tried but his effort wasn't enough.

Sweetguy25: What nonsense! It is the money from crude oil that is used to pay all federal, state and local government workers all over the country. It is the money from crude that is used to finance almost all government infrastructure projects all over the country. The Nigerian economy depends on crude oil! Deal with it! Lol..You are funny, what about internal revenue of each state? Lagos state alone announced 23 billion Naira monthly internally generated revenue yesterday, which is around 276 billion per year. I want to believe other states are generating something too, I don't see where government is getting money from if not from all these sources put together. Our GDP is bigger than OIL revenue, is not possible we sustain it via oil sector alone. Guy una dey over exaggerate this oil money o. Did you guyz realize Nigeria has been existing before oil was discovered? this is a Nation of almost 200 million, our internal revenue is substantial. You should be contented with crumbs from your fulani masters table. Stop exaggerating, the percentage you quoted is wrong. If you are saying export earnings I will understand but if you are saying 90% of national expenditure is being financed by earnings from SS alone, that na big lie. Oil earnings only account for 11% of our GDP. Agricultural sector account for over 40%. Most of you that are exaggerating better wake up to reality. If our GDP is around 522.64 billion US dollars and our total export earnings from Oil last year was $52 billion US dollars, where did you get 90% ? |

I think because he doesn't understand the fundamental of what he was talking about. If average human walking speed is about 5.0 kilometres per hour (km/h), let say this guy walked 50km in 12 hours, including 2hrs rest. it should take him 15.56 days to complete 778km normally. To have spent 19 days means he took his time or rest more. People should at least conduct their research before criticizing. |

Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians and therefore Lagos is for all Nigerians just as Onitsha is for all Nigerians. The Igbos who own properties in Lagos bought the land on which they built their properties and paid exorbitant prices at that. If a Yoruba man refuses or cannot afford to buy or build properties in the East, how is that the Igbo man's business? How is Dubai a country Oga? |

So many countries without oil are doing very well Dont depend your economy oil. Nigerians are expecting alot from your office.
Good luck to you We wish you well Singapore, Japan, Korea etc comes to mind but remember those countries have long term plans put in place. Do Nigeria have such? Can Buhari put such in place within 4 years? I doubt it but one thing he can do is lay a solid foundation for a NEW Nigeria. |

einsteino: What are you saying? so you guys now claim ownership of the oil and gas too? i am niger deltan and its no news that we have both ethnic and political ties with igbos. What is wrong is the way everything in Nigeria is about tribe, nowadays here in delta state the indigenes are now waking up to the tribal game. it is now common place to hear that you can't work in an oil firm here simply cos u are non-indigene, how long can we go this way? someday it would be you can't vote in a place cos u r non-indegene too.
The way lagos took this agbaje/ambode thing is a very bad example for the rest of the country. You guys voted against your own son, simply because non yorubas saw the gem in him. I was pro agbaje since last year, that was before the whole ethnicity thing came in. and the reason was because i saw a technocrat not a politician but yorubas saw an igbo lover, too bad. You guys should stop all this, they voted against him because he does not have what it takes to manage lagos, was he not a member of dis-functioned AC when Fashola was picked ahead of him? To be honest, the Igbos supported him not because they believed in him but because they wanted to avenge what happened during presidential election and get back at Bola Tinubu that came up with the whole APC blueprint that ousted GEJ. |

Get ready for a new economic order. In the world 15 years from now, the U.S. will be far less dominant, several emerging markets will catapult into prominence, and some of the largest European economies will be slipping behind. That's according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's latest macroeconomic projections that go out to 2030, displayed in the chart below. The U.S. will just barely remain the global leader, with $24.8 trillion in annual output. The gray bar represents the $16.8 trillion gross domestic product projected for 2015, and the green bar shows how much bigger the economy is expected to be 15 years from now. The country, worth 25 percent of the world economy in 2006 and 23 percent in 2015, will see its share decline to 20 percent. China's GDP will grow to more than twice its size today, helping the Asian powerhouse to almost entirely close its gap with the U.S India, ranked eighth for 2015, will climb past Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan to take third place in the world ranking. The International Monetary Fund calls India "the bright spot in the global landscape." The country will have the largest workforce in the world within the next 15 years, the IMF notes, and among the youngest. Other nations won't be so lucky, particularly among developed economies. Japan, which was a roaring economy until its asset bubble burst in the early 1990s, has already slogged through decades of stagnation and will likely continue to see very little growth over the next 15 years. That will push Japan down a spot in the rankings by 2030, according to the USDA estimates. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-04-10/the-world-s-20-largest-economies-in-2030

OdenigboAroli2: can you mention just one tribe or one name of any man that has ever attempted to contest elections in the east. The igbos started trying to win in Yorubaland since the days of Zik. You need to travel small. They were not contesting or even living there because it wasn't conducive and your people were hostile to them. Even Justus Esiri, Dr Sid's father put it right, Yorubaland is the only place you can own a land as an Igbo and feel welcome. You can contest and have all this privileges because your host respect you, I have not seen that from you. You should be the one to travel small, the world is bigger than America and Nigeria. |

francizy: You people speak as if Igbos are forcefully stealing your land and political rights from you. Even when Igbos contest and loose in Lagos, do we go out en masse to cause trouble and kill? No.
Why does everyone turn a blind eye to the troublesome Fulani but label Igbos as the devil in Nigeria? I can recall vividly how peaceful Jos and Plateau state was before some tribes lost elections in that town and started killing their host. What did Nigerians do or say about that? Nothing, why? Because they are born to rule and cannot be challenged by the Yorubas, Igbos and other tribes.
In real sense and from history, the the true owners of Kaduna are the southern Kaduna tribes who are predominantly Christians, but they've been merged with people from Katsina and have had their numbers equal to or a bit smaller than the Northern Kaduna. Since 1999, they've only had one Southern Kaduna ruler who was made governor by the actions of the president in using Sambo as his VP.
We talk of political appointments and stuffs like that not knowing what is happening at the other side. When I schooled in ABU, a Southern Kaduna/Christian Prof won an election for the post of VC but was never made the VC due to massive protest within and outside the walls of the school. Finally, a Hausa/Fulani/Muslim Prof was appointed the VC.
But that is not the case in a Igbo land because I went to Metallurgical Training Institute at Onitsha and a Yoruba man is the Director. Mind you, that's just one establishment I went to. Imagine I was born and brought up in the South East, I would have seen various other tribes holding political/academic posts in my region without my people making a big deal out of it.
The truth will always hurt but I will spill it out, if it was the Fulani tribe that had this large population of the Igbos in a Yoruba/Lagos land and have not produced a governor yet, there would have been serious bloodshed. Take it or leave it. Trust me you are not making sense, can you please mention one other tribe that has won election in the East like Igbos did in Lagos or that has held a political appointment in the East like its done in Lagos? This was exactly what Ahmadu Bello was saying in the 60s, you want to dominate your host and dictate how they live in their own land, wasn't your people that put an end to the first republic via coup d'etat? A year later raised war against their own country? and Chimamanda still asking if one is more Nigeria than the other, the answer is obvious because the last time I checked the meaning of patriotism its devotion or commitment to ones country. Something your people don't seem to have enough of. |
