Love800:
Thanks so much.
So what's the name of the older ones?

For male it's called rooster, for female I think it's Hen

Saga16:

I salute you for you to even fight and want something is something of a great confidence but, this is Nigeria where arguably everyone can be bought with money.

Love800:
What's the meaning of cockerels pls?

Cockerels are young male fowl while pullets are young females ones

I digress a bit...

But reminds me of an old movie I saw. I can't remember the title. But this rich dude paid a broke and struggling man millions of dollars. Just to sleep with his wife for a night.

The wife rejected but after lots of pressure and guilt tripping from the husband she finally accepted to do it.

Turns out she went to the rich dude to spend the night as agreed but the guy eventually had a change of mind while they were together and let her go without touching her the next day.

He paid the broke dude the agreed amount in full. The wife explained to him nothing went down that night... But he never believed her.

From that point the relationship took a downward spiral as he hated her from that point onwards. Even though it was actually his suggestion in the first place.

He just couldn't bear the thought of his wife sleeping with another even though he thought he could handle it!

It also happened in this super story film featuring Suara and shola sobowale(Toyin tomato)

Pls be careful with your choice of words...

princemaths:
haha so where are your millions in Nigeria. IAM sure you're still in your parents basement. Foolish dreamer.

In as much as this is a faceless forum, pls, be mindful of what you say! You don't know if he will be like a child to you OR someone old enough to be your father.

The OP asked for people's opinions, you give yours, so allow other people to give theirs...

No offense...

I'm very sure that won't be his first killing, because, to have the mind of killing and beheading someone, you would have long gone buried your conscience.

My teen days was nothing but trouble here and there. I for don go tey tey but na the grace of God keeps me through those periods.

There was a day we were burning up the bush so that we could catch some bush meat, and we managed to killed three big bush rat( okete in my language). Na so one squirrel just came out of nowhere and I went started pursuing it, na so the squirrel climb dead palm kernel tree, no more leafs on it, but there was a hole at the extreme top of it which the squirrel entered.

Na so I begin to climb, and I climbed to the very top( on top sey I wan kill squirrel). I checked but couldn't find it there, na so I started shaking the palm tree thinking that the squirrel will come out in fear. During the shaking, na so the tree broke from the middle, the upper part of the tree and I dey escort ourselves come down, but before it touched the I tried to jumped and detached myself from it. I landed with bruises all over my body and the tree that escort me was shattered on landing. That's how God saved me ooo.

Till today, I use to think about that incident.

When I was like 8yrs old, there is this our neighbour that is in her 30's that I was crushing on.

One day I had the chance to sleep in her room cos my parents travelled and I was scared to sleep alone. At night, when she had slept, I tried to drag up her skirt so I could see her private part.

What audacity

With 500,000 Naira, you can start:

1. Online Retail: Sell products online.

2. Food Business: Catering, delivery, or a small restaurant.

3. Laundry Service: Washing and ironing services.

4. Agriculture: Poultry or vegetable farming.

5. Phone Accessories: Sell gadgets and accessories.

6. Event Planning: Organize events.

7. Freelancing: Offer writing or design services.

8. Car Wash: Mobile or stationary car wash.

9. Mini Importation: Import popular products.

10. Fitness Training: Personal training or gym services.

I've been into 3 for the past 8 years till date, I have little knowledge in 6, I've done 2 before (my brother and I) in Lagos.

I just need something else that I can do that in the next 4 to 5 months when I look into my account I will be glad with the choice I made.

Animegirl:
If you're still a young Man, I'd advice you learn a skill as a "fashion designer for men" sounds funny but you get stable income if you're very social and active in church, you will always get people.

Also you should probably venture into the business of buying and selling of palm oil, foodstuffs. If you can travel all the way to north and get cheap foodstuffs, then move to the east or west to sell is a great idea.

Please, don't even think of going into poultry farming, or rearing Animals, you will just waste money especially when you're desperate.

I am a family man, so, i have what i do (laundry service)that do fetch me little money (but its not enough anymore). I just want to diversify into something more lucrative, I don't mind if it involves stress and time. The money is readily available...

DrDoc:
The safety and protection of your invested funds, combined with viability of the business amongst other factors are issues to look at whenever considering investment options. You sould inexperienced and almost ready to lose your money from your comments

if you have any ideas you can pls share

Ynix:
What is your area of career and training

. My area of career is agriculture, but the way everything was with the rain this year which put so many farmers into debt is something to look at

Pls NL, as the topic implies, I will love to start by next year January. I've thought about farming (Animal or crop production). But there might be other biz that might give more income than farming. For people that might be saying crypto, I don't know anything about it. What your help will be greatly appreciated.

I will love if the moderators can help push to front page for wider view. Thanks

Edojoma:
Don't just chose wats common. How many does a goat birth at a time and how long to maturity. Everything now na calculation n smartness.

pls don't underestimate goat rearing!

A she goat will birth twice a year and in most cases, they birth 2, and sometimes 3 and sometimes 1.

Now let's do the calculations... assuming you have 4 mature she goat, and they all got pregnant, atleast, be expecting 6 kids from them all, then multiply by 2(two times a year), that's 12.

What will happen in a case whereby you have 10 she goat?

Truth hurt!

Mariangeles:
It's not the women's fault.

When we had a little delay then my wife won't lemme rest, but after everything don set na so she forget me... God dey

Mariangeles:
Reminds me of a man who bought Amala with goat meat in Lagos, for his pregnant wife who was craving it desperately, and flew all the way to Enugu to give it to her. 😀
Men dey!

This joke is too expensive abeg

JONSYN7154:
I can relate.

My wife woke me up around 2am that she wants to eat okpehe rice that I should cook it for her. I thought she was joking o.

Omo, come see cry .

why you too get rice for house?

The funniest aspect of their cravings is they will never crave for wetin no dey house, which means, they do it intentionally

MrFourSHIRTS:
Naa you no wann trekk

Any sure link abeg

DrDoc:
Invest it in my cassava plantation. It would get me some herbicides. I am willing to be generous to give you 400,000 Naira by December 2025 if you invest 125,000 Naira. With the 500,000 Naira you can start a few acres of your own in 2026 and continue to expand from there

where do you base?

Mickolad:
Where is your location I'd love to chat.

Osun state

Redman44:
Why don't you partner with others with the same vision on Nairaland? Look for people with similar ideas to yours and partner with them. Then you can share proceeds with them. What do you think about that ?

You can get someone to clear the land and then you pay for making mounds and provide seeds. Then you and your partner contribute money for weeding etc. You then share profits. Cheers.

Hmmmm... I really appreciate your advice, it makes a lot of sense only if people can be trusted to be partnered with. This is Nigeria, full of scammers, cunning people, evil and wicked people. You can't just pick up a random person and or a stranger to do this kind of business with. So that at the end of the day you won't have yourself to blame. People can't really be trusted, especially in this Nigeria! How I wish I can get a trustworthy person to do this with.

Ynix:
hmm, you have a big ambition but I will advise you grow your liquidity first

Not when you are spending more than your gain. Businesses are crumbling now, many are folding up. I saved up to that with so much hunger and with the look of things I will soon spend it finish. Hunger no be your mate oo.

I just want next to be the beginning of good things and hunger free.

Ynix:
how much do you have at the moment?

I don't have up to 40k at the moment. And I wish to start early next year

Ynix:
why don't you just start small, as in starting with what you have

In all honesty, there's little to what only me can do. And the last time I enquires about the cost of clearing and the likes for 5 acres of land was 550k, and that was early this year.

Land is not an issue here, I have access to any amount of acres of land I need, 5,10,20 or more...

But is there any government loan for agric business that I can have access to?

I have 80% of the knowledge cos, I'm a product of Agricultural science student

I will be glad if the moderators can help me push it to front page. Thank you in advance
