Hi guys, Please I need your help. I have been running this life assurance policy with an Insurance company for more than 40 months and going by their policy terms and conditions, I can cash out 100 percent of my investment after 3 years (36 months). On Nov. 2015 I wanted out, they started making things difficult telling me I will lose money if I cash out now as the economy is bad on them. I insisted that they give me back my money as I really need it. Knowing how desperate I have become as it is for medical emergency, they deducted about N124,000 from my premium (of course interest accrued forfeited too). I insisted that they will pay my complete money - they said take it or leave it. From a friend's advice, I decided to fill the discharge voucher and terminate the policy but as I write I am still battling to get them to credit my account for over 8 months now!! The insurance account officer called me yesterday saying I should sponsor his trip to their head office in Lagos so that he can go and push for my cheque to be out soon. Make una see me see wahala o!!! Na office he wan open for my head now! Good people of Nigeria, how do I go about this? I have sorted out the medical emergency with loan after running around like rat whose house is on fire but I still need the money to offset the loan plus interest. Help!!!! |
SweetOlive:Good reasoning. No mind the op |
Hi Op, Please you don't have anything good to say, only to kill a good brand. I hope u know the company can sue u! After enjoying the butter, stored in your kitchen cabinet that we don't know the hygienic condition for God knows how long and you here killing a good brand that has sustained Nigerians for so long now. |
watchworldpro:Yeah I saw the regular maintenance you are giving the car but seriously, the mileage is directly proportional to use (with more wears and tears experienced as with all mechanical systems). Regular maintenance can help prolong the lifespan - it is a fact. I hope you can also agree with me that the lesser the mileage, the more life there is in the car. |
erico2k2:I use Toyota Camry 2009. I bought it here in Canada. |
Why will one buy a high mileage car? The higher the mileage, the more maintenance that will be required and more money to be spent at the mechanics. My car had a mileage of 30,000 miles when I bought it, I have used it for 2 years now and no major maintenance except for the quarterly servicing like changing oil, filters and tyre pressure checks and change - all preventive maintenance. |
Immarshall:So nobody replied this guy?!! Yorubas and their fear of the north sef! Let an IPOB guy make this same statement, the internet will shut down. Well, Mr. Man, your assertions are wrong though I don't subscribe to jungle justice but a thief is a thief and in the south it is clear to all. But the north...mtchweeee.... Terrorist breeding ground! Bloodthirsty modafvckas!!! Uncivilized bigots, tribalists to the core! Pogrom seeking paedophiles!! The south is just learning from you guys to be badass. My experience in the north is just better left in the past. I don't wanna piss u off , just trying to correct ur statement. Take it easy. |
I weep for Nigeria! |
This guy go come dey straff girls up and down now... ![]() |

iamexcelblog:The Yorubas are scared of their masters - the Hausa/Fulani. You want make herdsmen show for their side? Yeye people |
I was not surprise after all...Yoruba keeping Nigeria in darkness. |
Avalon316:Please how is that too much? 2.5m is the price range of good cars that can serve. You expect him to buy headaches of a car or keep trekking for Buhari after having worked for a good number of years? In fact must u comment on a thread?!! |
owoeyeyem:People still reason from their anus. Say no to tribalism!! In the words of chiwetala Agu -- "Ara m ikpu ojii!!!" |
This APC government that took our subsidies and now they are buying cars. Why can't government officials suffer so that they can enjoy later as the masses are doing. APC scamming Nigerians since 1900. |
Yoruba people again. Always giving Nigeria bad name! |
HarkymTheOracle:Yoruba and north again!!! Kidnapping his own boss. Fear those people sha. Yahoo Yahoo na dem get am - always putting Nigeria on the map for wrong reasons. |
osabiggy:This is terrible. Family values in the south west of Nigeria is dead. Just Google these set of people and u will know that God is merciful and na dem judge pass. |
Yoruba people are rapist, rituals, pedophiles etc. In fact these people are terrible. That's the only thing they know. |
This government is hopeless. I thought VP is a prof. Well, why not fix our refineries and also boost power generation with these monies so that we won't get to this point of sharing money that will only create more problems. The money cannot go around and the short-changed will scream. |
OP try harder next time!!! This strike should start from Monday! |
Wednesday feels like Christmas now....can't wait!!! |
No reasonable comment here! All the debates here is about GEJ and PMB showing how we build our institution of government around individuals. Please discuss the benefits or otherwise of these policies on the lives of the ordinary Nigerians. My take: The subsidy removal at this time is demonic! . Salaries as low as N18K are not being paid and job losses here and there. How do the govt expect the populace to survive? Government claim they don't have money, so now they want to exploit the populace for their own survival - it is like the common man providing cushion for the government. It should be the other way round.Government cannot provide reliable mass transit and power supply at least to help the people. The people have no choice but to provide it for themselves. Now government decided to increase the price of PMS so that the people cannot even provide them anymore. Well, Nigerians as we know cannot speak with one voice; they are divided along party, ethnic, religious, affluence and even common sense lines. Keep supporting this insincere government at your own peril. I don talk finish. Madam wey u dey...any cold beer? |

zizoo36:Your hatred is real. |
Now the Igbo haters and the ethnic bigots can show themselves. This post will only show how divided this country is! Instead of the people calling on the appropriate authority to come to the aid of these cities mentioned, they are here showing how small their brains are!!!. |
