The 2023 Presidential Election really exposed Peter Obi. Now everyone knows the following facts about him:

1. That he was just an average Governor, despite the economic potential, capacity and opportunity of a State like Anambra. Those who lived through it had a lot to say. Health workers strike, No LG elections, diverting Local Government funds, etc.

2. He is fraudulent like most Nigerian politicians. Diverting State funds into his private businesses, bring in his account officer to succeed him, hiding state money in family and proxies offshore accounts, etc.

3. He is a religious fanatic. Dividing the nation across religious lines. Advocating religious war. Dividing an ethic group religiously - I am sure you have heard the term YorubaMuslim? It is deliberate. Dividing Christians in Anambra into Catholics, Anglicans and Others.

4. A real life 2Face. Him no dey give Shishi, so is the claim but bought LP presidential ticket overnight. Don't tell me they gave it to him as freewill donation.

5. Beyond the smile, he is bitter and hateful. Up till now despite the highest court in the land ruling, Peter Obi is yet to congratulate the Winner.

There are many more. An Igboman will be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but definitely not Peter Obi.

It all started when Venita made it known during her Big Brother Naija All Stars season that men from Tiv tribe entertained their guests with their spouses.

However, she apologized after the show ended, saying that her statement was misunderstood.

*Kogi Guber: Ajaokuta Steel, Itakpe Iron Ore Will Boom Again – Dino Melaye*.

Governorship candidate of the *People’s Democratic Party, PDP*, *Dino Melaye* has vowed that the Ajaokuta Steel Company and Itakpe Iron Ore Mining Company will boom for economic gains if elected governor of the state.

Melaye made this vow while addressing supporters at the PDP governorship campaign flag-off at Okene, Kogi state on Tuesday.

He stated, “Kogi State, we are too blessed to be poor. We are going to restore Ajaokuta Steel by the grace of God. Ajaokuta Steel was established by the late President Shagari. Shehu Shagari is not from Kogi State, not even from the North Central, yet he came to establish the Ajaokuta and Itakpe Iron Ore.

“In our government, we’ll do everything possible; if possible, we will do a takeover from the Federal Government. Ajaokuta, during our time, must work. We must make sure Itakpe Iron Ore is booming again,” he added.

The Kogi state governorship election has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 11.

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State stormed the PDP’s campaign flag-off.

Saraki announced his arrival via his X page (formerly known as Twitter) @bukolasaraki on Tuesday.

Melaye and Saraki arrived in Kogi state with several chieftains of the main opposition party.

Melaye, is a leading candidate under the platform of People's Democratic Party, (PDP).

The Kogi State governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Senator Dino Melaye, has promised residents that he will govern with the fear of God if he is elected as governor in the state’s forthcoming November 11 poll.

Melaye gave the assurance Tuesday during the PDP rally in Okene, Kogi state.

He was in company of party stalwarts including the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and a host of others.

*“I’m going to be a governor with the fear of God. If you have the fear of God, you will not kill or steal,”* the senator said.

Explaining his policy document for the state, Melaye promised to pay full salaries and provide adequate security in the state if elected.

“I want to assure you that Dino Melaye will pay full salaries. Those who have been sacked for no reason, our government will restore you back to the workforce,” he said.

On agriculture, Melaye assured his administration will introduce mechanised and plantation farming as well as build farm houses while employing graduates to run the agricultural sector.

“We are going to recruit our graduates and give them hectares of land with new technological means of farming,” he promised.

He added his administration will make sure that all the state’s mineral resources will be used for the benefit of the people.

“We are going to invest immensely in tourism. By the grace of God, we are going to restore back the Ajaokuta steel,” the senator added, urging the people to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress and its candidate.

Melaye, who accused the APC of impoverishing the state, said: “We are here today to celebrate the political obituary of the APC in Kogi state.”

Melaye will be slugging it out with the ruling APC’s guber candidate, Usman Ododo, and the Social Democratic Party’s flagbearer, Murtala Ajaka, among others.

#EndSars: Former IGP Ask Tinubu to Declare October 20 National Freedom Day

In honor of Nigerians’ ongoing fight for justice, former Inspector General of Police Mike Okiro, rtd., has encouraged President Bola Tinubu to proclaim October 20th as National Freedom Day every year.


Okiro made the appeal during a press conference he gave to commemorate the third anniversary of the EndSARS Memorial 2023/36th monthly Extra-Ordinary Zoom Session of the Diplomatic, Diaspora, and National Strategic Stakeholders Forum. Okiro is currently the Board Chairman of JusticeNOW International, also known as the NigeriaFIRST Foundation.

The former IGP also congratulated President Tinubu for what he called his well-timed nominations of young people to key positions in the administration, including those of Interior Minister, Minister of Youth Development, Minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, and several others.

According to Okiro, the President would demonstrate to the world that he was never against the EndSARS protest at the Lekki Toll Gate, as had been widely assumed in some Nigerian and international circles, by approving the request for National Freedom Day.

The ex-IGP said, “Your Excellency, in your noble capacity as the Head of the Government of Nigeria, the full responsibility and powers now rest on your shoulders to do something remarkable to change the narratives of the #EndSARS for the better because this generation cannot forget the memories of October 20, 2020.

“As a body committed to the NigeriaFIRST advocacy, which seeks national Interest, patrotism and peaceful co-existence, we are therefore officially and publicly appealing, for the third time, thus using the instrumentality of your Excellency’s Renewed Hope to appeal for your Excellency’s Presidential Declaration of October 20th as National Freedom Day- to remember our collective struggles of our youths for justice.

“Your Excellency Mr. President, it will please you to know that the Institunalisation of October 20th as National Freedom Day (National Holiday) would be one of Your Excellency’s greatest legacy ever.

“It will show your true appreciation of your love for the youths as this development would serve as a sign of respect to the souls of departed at Lekki Toll Gate otherwise known as struggles for social justice.

“Already, one of our Organization’s advocacy for the EndSARS has been clearly witnessed which is your Excellency’s maximum engagement of youths and young People the governance structures of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

“We therefore use this opportunity to thank your Excellency for the strategic appointments of a truly young persons to serve as Hon. Ministers for Humanitarian And Poverty Alleviation as well as Minister for Youth Development and the Minister for Interior and several others in the Presidency.
