“Every artist role model, the original 001 I know” Samklef shades Davido as he praises Wizkid

Samklef, a Nigerian producer and controversial media personality, has taken a sly jab at renowned singer Davido while praising his rival, Wizkid.


He praised the Grammy award winning artist for being the original 001 in a photo he shared at his mother’s burial.

In the wake of Davido being dragged for reneging his contract, Samklef noted how Wizkid is free of scandals and has never been dragged for reneging on contracts.

He described the singer as cool, calm, and collected and declared him every artist’s role model.

This is coming in the wake of a Nigerian photographer and businessman, Abu Salami publicly calling out the singer for reneging on a contract worth million.

The businessman claimed to have paid the singer N218 million to influence a football project for kids, which he failed to show up for.

To make matters worse, Davido had refused to refund him his money and had bullied him by sending thugs to him.

He shared a disturbing video of him being beaten up by thugs, which he claimed were sent by the singer.

This is the second time this year the singer has been accused of reneging on contracts.

Last month, the Former Nigerian Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick publicly called out Davido for failing to honor his contract with them.

The NFF President expressed displeasure at how Davido failed to show up at his event despite paying him an exorbitant amount and booking a private jet for his crew.

He went on to compare Davido to his rival, Burna Boy, who he stated was far above him.

To add to the list, Nigerian Tribal model, Adetutu Alabi had accused the singer of owing her after featuring in his music video.

She narrated her encounter with him and what transpired between them, as she pleaded with the singer to pay her money.

Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has taken to ‘X’ to criticize Davido, for being arrogant and reckless.

Samklef also accused Davido of not acting like a celebrity, and not paying him back money that he owes.

Samklef’s criticism comes after Davido tweeted, “Make nobody beg me. You wanna be famous, ba? Okay”. Samklef interpreted this tweet as Davido bragging about his wealth and fame.
