Sextortion refers to a practice in which scammers convince youngsters (usually teenagers) to send them nude or compromising photos. The scammers then blackmail the teens to send them money otherwise they will make the photos go public or send them to the teen's parents.

In recent years the Nigerian Police and the EFCC have collaborated with law enforcement officials from all over the world to take down these scammers. Many of the scammers are based in Nigeria and they often target children in the West.

In this particular operation, the team set up a command center at the EFCC's office in Lagos and from there they arrested 21 of the scammers. Some of them have been extradited, while others are undergoing extradition proceedings.

Oga, how have you been coping with the CVT in Honda Accord 2014.

The reviews I have been getting is not encouraging.

Been hearing of the issues but never experienced it. I even heard most 2014 and 15 were recalled. Through it all, I take maintenance very seriously apart, I use a fully synthetic transmission fluid not ATF due to the fact CVT transmissions utilize a belt and pulley system that requires a fluid with specific frictional properties to ensure smooth and efficient power transfer. also, The high operating temperatures of CVTs necessitate a fluid that can withstand heat and prevent oxidation. I believe once you understand your vehicle and take to caution, you're good to go.




Perhaps, I've just been lucky so far.

Please dont buy the 1.5T engine. That is the one that normally have the turbo issue. Buy the 2.0T accord instead. A lot of reviews must have told you this.

The 2.0T is available with a more advanced 10-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5T can have a CVT. Obviously, the 1.5T offers a better fuel economy. Is the Turbo issue the major issue in the 1.5T and what's the cause of it.

The 2014, Honda Accord is superb and great emotional attachment to it.

I think the @seatrade accord na N1.5T, truly my reviews as has correctly shows that most issues are from the 1.5t engines.

But I just wanted a fuel economy car, I DON'T drive like Formular 1 or Michael Schumacher.

I don't do all those James Bond Driving, maybe, just maybe once in a very very long while, I can do not certainly not.

Infact, I don't even rev. my cars, I just start the engine and engage to drive after like a minute or 2mins.

I believe the 1.5T offers a better economy on the fuel than the 2.0T. Well, I was told a man will treat is woman the way he treats his car. And wooooow the ladies won't love that gentleman treatment.

Your 2014, is it 3.5 or 2.4 talking of the engine size?

What should I watch out in buying this car.

Carry the old turbo with you. Find a way and mend the crack, you might need it on future time or some part of it.

Culprit found,saw it personally.
Crack in the turbo outlet into the engine,causes air imbalance into cylinders,hence ruining the turbo.
Bought the turbo already.

Sounds good, glad you found the culprit. How much did the turbo cost though? Don't leave the turbo with the mechanic, it's still functional all they have to do is find a way to mend the crack.

I have a turbo charged car running at power loss as well but perfect temperature. Acceleration is very slow and it drags like hell especially while climbing hills. Another way I got to know even before diagnosing was blue smoke from the exhaust though not all the time but the gear selects perfectly. it was during diagnoses I confirmed it's the turbo.
