Hi all, awaiting your response please...

tsam01: Good day to you all.

Please what grounds fit best for a non-related sponsor? Will it be okay if I say he's a family friend?
Help a brother please.

Thanks in advance

Thanks bro!.

kclexa: My advice is that you use a sponsor who is either still working with very good salary package or in business with very good cash flow

Putting 2m into your account and printing the statement won't fool the visa officer; remember you need more than a month's account statement.

The trouble with using a retired individual as a sponsor is that you need to convince the VO that he/she has a steady source of income; enough to sustain his personal needs before considering your added responsibilities

tsam01: I hail all the peeps in da house o.

Please i need your help with these questions of mine. I got a graduate admission, starting in january.

Without having to include any of his properties, Is it ok to use a retired civil servant as one of my sponsors, he said his pension comes in regularly and the account is quite active 'not sure abt the kind of flow either big or light' though and he has a little change in his account? I could state he'll take care of my upkeep or something....

Is it ok if i send in abt N2m into my account and den print out a soa then indicate its a savings i've been keeping for my course. hope it doesn't sound or look suspicious, since I work?

Please help!

@chiahmaka: Thanks for your help.

Hi all,
Still on the matter!
Please I'm trying to put my application in order towards January admission. As regards sponsorship, the initial sponsor(Business man) I planned using does not have all the docs indicated by peeps in this forum and for some of these documents that he has *they are not in order/updated* (tax clearance,C07, memo, C02... he only has the business reg cert to back up his SOA). Pls if the sponsor decides to use his personal a/c, what documents will I need from him? pls also note that we bear different surname.

Do I need to submit a police report along side my application?
I am going for my Master's Degree, please what preferable value should my sponsor's account balance read. My tuition is about $12,700 per year and my course duration is within 12-24 months.

Pls help.

Thanks

chiahmakar: reasons? what kinda business is he into? can you get transaction papers like receipts, waybills etc? you need a proof for the funds in his soa,and on any declaration he will make in the notorized affidavit
He's into real estates, I'll speak with him to see if he can provide some receipts. Thanks
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by tsam01: 1:45pm On Aug 19, 2014
chiahmakar: yeah you can, just give a reasonable reason why, you need all his business documents(coi, cac,co7,memo et al)also if he has landed properties adding the documents(cof, land transfer or receipts et al) will be fine and a notorized affidavit/declaring of sponsorship.
@chiahmakar: Thanks or your response. For now, I can only get his SOA and affidavit. pls, what other options would you propose?

Hi all,

Please help!

Is it okay to use a sponsor who I'm not related to, he is a family friend who owns a business and he will be using his business account. Please, if its possible to use him, what documents do I need from him apart from SOA, sponsorship letter (on his letter-headed paper) and his passport data page copy.

Please, I'll appreciate your prompt response. I got admission into a Master's Degree program and will be attending in January 2015, hope to apply this month.

Please help!.
