so far The story looks interestingly mystical.. I hope u will be able to sustain the trend. great job bro |
assume u are selling a product and u want people to buy it, I believe u wouldn't tell people how much damage the product can cause nt how much it can help them. stop mis representing God like he is one old man up there bent on destroying humanity, rather than saving mankind |
luks like a puff adder to me....u are one lucky dude bro |
so let's analyze the situation together, what does the op suggest as a solution to this problem. cos like every reasonable human being u have identified a problem which is not something that requires the brain of a genius but what would have been spectacular is if you ended ur post with a few tips on how to salvage the situation instead of t repeatedly telling us what we know already |
I've had this thoughts for a while now but didn't think much of putting it to writing but After reading the post "are Nigerian youths lazy and cowards" I decided to put down my own view to concerning the attitude of Nigerian youths towards the current economic situation. some days ago I read a post on nairaland where someone (obviously a youth) didn't mince words in criticising buhari's reluctance to devalue the naira. The person who posted that article obviously wasn't a fan of the buhari administration so he most likely just saw a post somewhere by another of buhari's ardent critics and decided to copy and paste it here. while I am not a politician neither am I even a supporter of the overused and underutilized change mantra being chanted everywhere, the posts I mentioned above drew my attention to a number of things. Notable of them is the way Nigerian youths have decided to either become loud, clueless commentators or silent ignorant bystanders in a situation that clearly requires their active participation. After reading that post I wonder if Nigerian youths despite wailing so much about the rapidly plummeting Naira have ever taken time to think on the way forward out of this mess, many talk about diversifying the economy but I wonder how many graduates of geology, petroleum engineering and other oil related fields or even graduates generally of any fields have thought of where else they can work in the economy apart from in the oil company that would favour our economy rather than kill it the more. I wonder if the guy insisting on devaluation ever took time to find out what effect devaluation will have on our economy at this stage( effects which include high domestic inflation even stronger than what we are facing at the moment). I wonder how many Nigerian youths take a while to stop whining, to stop the blame game and Think. fine the government has failed, right from the the day oil was discovered The shovels that dug this grave we are edging towards have been at work. previous administrations has failed. let's even assume Buhari has failed. what is the way forward, what can YOU as an average Nigerian youth do. have you thought about that. Not what has the government done or have they not done because believe me or not if every post on nairaland today was about the failure of government it doesn't stop Buhari from spending every dime of the state budget on travel tickets does it? so why do we waste time writing about what these guys keep doing wrong when we should be focus our strength on what we can do right to salvage the situation. God Bless Nigeria |
fYi the Christian race is one where u should focus more on running well rather than on finishing, I.e the end of it shouldnt be ur goal but how much u have done wen the end comes, av always said that if the goal of being saved is going to heaven to meet God then he could have as well kill u the moment u receive Christ..think about that before u paddle any endtime post again... |
coolsix:hmmm....u can lie..... |
coolsix:and u noticed it...choi....u have the same problem with the op.....God bless ur soul |
If there is one thing the end of the year in this part of the world is popular for , it is the Christmas and new year festivities. However accompanying the festive season is the typical cold and dry weather condition. The harmattan as we know it. Every season of the year has its own peculiarities and health complications and the dry harmattan season isn't an exception. infact harmattan according to the American heritage dictionary of English language fourth edition may have been originated from the Arabic word HARAM literally meaning the evil thing this origin may not be unconnected to with the adverse effect of this weather. The harmattan is a hot dry dusty wind that blows across Africa from the Sahara desert into the gulf of guinnea between November and mid march. the season is characterized by desert like conditions of low humidity, temperature extremes of cold night and hot days, clouds of dust and sand particles( harmattan haze). Due to these harsh weather conditions a number of health challenges arose which not only makes day to day living difficult but might pose serious threat to individuals if not well managed. some of these complications include: 1. hypothermia ( body temperature below 35 degrees) may occur in the aged and young children most especially which might be critical to body functions and adversely affect internal organs therefore warm body clothings should be worn especially at nights and early hours of the morning 2. Dry skin with accompanying lips and body cracks may occur. apply tropical oily creams and wear friendly dresses 3. Mostly affected during this season are the highly sensitive organs which directly relate with the environment. The harsh conditioning might irritations in the eyes nose throao e.t.c the eye may experience itching, foreign body sensations and redness. therefore it is advised that during this season proper eye hygiene should be observed this includes rinsing the eye regularly with clean water and reducing over exposure to dust by wearing protective gears. The nose and throat also get their equal share of nature's blow despite having a defensive mechanism that stops harmful particles in the air from getting to the lungs the defense may be overwhelmed by concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere leading to complications like cough cattarrh excessive sneezing and so on. As much as very little can be done to reduce the general level of pollution ob the streets , cautious attention should be paid on the hygiene of your personal space. your immediate environment should be kept dust free. wear gears to cover your nose if neccessary to avoid inhalation of foreign particles. 4. patients with chronic chest and lungs infections such as asthma and bronchitis must pay special attention to their health this season they should try as much as possible to avoid attack triggers and should go out with their inhalers at all times. 5. the season is also characterized by various infections and transmitable diseases. although malaria cases is greatly reduced during this season ( a big blessing in the midst of all the ills) other infections such as flu caused by the influenza virus can cause mild to severe illness, fever and headaches. This should be treated aggressively with appropriate antibiotics. In summary the harmattan season is not compusorily a season of headaches and running nose, you can still live an happy and healthy live if special attention is paid to body protaction and personal hygiene. wear protactivr clothing always and avoid exposure to the dangrous elementals. Stay healthy |

instead of fighting tooth and nail to defend de government all statIstics 4rm http://www.classbase.com/News/the-cost-of-college-in-china-60 note china has only 20.3billion barrels of oil reserve and we have 37.2 billion barrels of crude oil reserve |
also in china government owned universities have first choice at the students who have scored highest on the gaokao exam equivalent to our utme and only students who are unable to get into prominent goverment universities qo for private institution this mean unlike here Govt colleges are of better standard than privates. finally approximately 25million students in china pay an average of 400 To 2200 Us dollars a year 4 tu7tion which includes instructional materials, room\board and even meals to attend both private institution. In other words the lowest paying student7 pay about 60000Naira whyl the higest about 33000Naira 1 reckon d more expensive 1nes are private schools although we have schools that pay higher than the stated figure but imagine 25Milliom students paying as low as7 low as that how many university student do we hafe in nigeria and how many pay that less. the point of all this is why dont we all star7t see3hing the big picture 4 posterity sake and condemn oppression and corruption in7stead |
After reading a post about the recomendation of the association of prochancelors to introduce payment of tution into our already high university fees and after considering th reaction of various nairalanders to the post. i am suprised at how some people will go to such great length to defend an evidently corrupt Govt. Someone even went to the extent of trying to use our large population as a justifiable excuse for the Govt. not providing quality affordable education. so i set out to find out how much countries with larger population than ours pay to get educated. i actuali took my search to a far extent as i tried to compare our population and education to that of the most populated country in the world china. Before i go on to state d cost of education in china i want to point out that china has a large population of 1,392,472,658 as at 2014 dats no doubt higher than this country's 160 million(which am sure is terribly inflated) |
Samtolly4JESUS: Well, I've always knew that the weapon of press conference wielded by the SUG is just too passive to yield sporadic and concrete response from the School management. clean2: The shutdown and cleansing that fell on nairaland was a sign and a warning from heaven of the anger which nairaland has caused as a result of it being a platform being used rampantly by the forces of darkness to lure innocent souls to hell, All kinds of diabolic evil demon agents use nairaland to lure ignorant people to satan and cause their destruction. If you observe you will agree that of late alot of idol worshipers, atheists and other deviant lost souls have intensified their efforts at misleading undiscerning souls to sin againt God. The owners of nairaland should bewarned to censore this forum to avoid grievier future consequences.wao so people who think lyk dis still exist Chai.!!! smh |
