I know some people will jump on this post and start bashing churches...but wait a minute and read the post again...Now think about it...When u are done let me know if u find this story logical at all |
I'm sure it's all these Ajebota kids...try this trick on a 10 year old pako and see |
The upwork/fiverr issue isn't a question of getting access to the platform..You are probably ill-informed to than that is the main issue. I have a Nigerian account on upwork created and approved and I don't get the Job's that I apply for..the reason for this is simple.. I am not a native English speaker....it's the same reason people from India, China and other Asian countries might find it hard to get jobs... Most clients believe that a native English speaker will do a better job and ask specifically for that in their job descriptions. SO even if ur Nigerian account has been approved, you will still have to get over that personal barrier to land any Job. Bottomline is that while you efforts are laudable..I don't think it's d definitive solution to the issue on ground..u will only be solving part of the problem and creating some new ones in the process (I don't want to talk about this part) |
I think we should also put into context the program she was attending in Germany before we start shouting about why she didn't talk about other issues. If it was a summit to discuss solely about water then it would be foolish to be talking corruption unemployment and other issues raised by Mr CDQ. Bottom line there is always a full picture and one sided stories never shows it |
lilfreezy:Aren't u people tired of this line. Because there is snake in your house does that mean u should not kill scorpions if u find them around. Nigerians really need to start thinking... seriously |
OkoroPeugeot: I tot u was the only one that saw it nio...legend ko..star lager beer ni |
mrvitalis:So I didn't want to talk on this thread before but seeing this comment got me riled up. It's obvious u have no idea how much damage has been done to Nigeria's reputation abroad as a result of online fraud. just so you know episodes of popular shows in the US like the Simpsons, Family Guy S14E12 and so on has referenced cyber crime in Nigeria over and over. Ever heard of the (Nigerian Prince scam) And as for why Nigeria is not on the Top 15 of cyber crime index. Technically, Yahoo is a low tech cyber crime.. issues like phishing, and identity theft will be used to rank cyber crime index not money scams...but do we even have to compete on such an index? Why should the fact that we are not top fifteen on Cyber crime index be a motivation for us to commit crime. And what exactly do you mean by foreign revenue (that's the most annoying part of ur entire statement). All these fake-ass Robin Hood mentality just shows how senile and ill-informed Nigerians are. (Am disgusted) this same logic should work for money rituals too now. Those men are bringing money from the land of the spirits and making our economy better. U should never use a good course as a justification for your greediness otherwise nothing would be a crime at the end of the day. The fact remains that bad is bad and fighting it in any form is right. Call it witchhunt, call it making someone a scapegoat, but the truth is the truth..Someone asked a very important question and I will ask it again: was incriminating evidence found on him or not?? If Yes let him explain himself.. if he isn't the owner of the laptop let him provide the owner either ways he has some questions to answer. |
The mere fact that some human beings with blood in their veins and grey matter in their head will blame a helpless mother for speaking out for her daughter further proves that our problem in this country is fundamentally the way we think. Nigeria has a serious mentality problem. To think that anyone would prefer sweeping a case of rape under the carpet is just alarming. It's high time we put on our thinking caps in this country and stop thinking like cave men. |
apikipiki1:Not to sound harsh or anything...but death is not as peculiar to our movie industry as people try to make it sound whenever an actor dies. Teachers die everyday, doctors die everyday..heck even students die everyday. It's just a more obvious case when the deceased is a known name...that's why it always seems something is wrong with Nollywood when in the real sense nothing is wrong. People have always tried to make that assertion but I don't think it's accurate. Death is a common denominator for everyone actor or not. |
The Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a boy with her husband by her side after going into labour this morning. Speaking from Windsor, the Duke of Sussex said: "I'm very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning - a very healthy baby boy." The couple who got married on the 19th of May 2018,have maintained an element of secrecy around the arrangements for the birth, saying they will share news of their baby’s arrival “once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family”. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! Like and Share

TANID:Now this is hilarious...how can anyone use poverty as an excuse for police brutality. The same way we have been rationalizing Yahoo Yahoo with slave trade. In short maybe nothing is an offence in Nigeria after all. Until we all start frankly calling a spade a spade we are going nowhere. |
This looks staged...Am I d only one that noticed that the tire is not burnt. Ain't that just wonderful ![]() |
ReneeNuttall:It's always easy to be the judge in other people's case. The guy was probably just as concerned as you are. Check the time on the chat it was around midnight. The next available transit would most likely be in d morning. By then it might probably be too late. That's not to mention the fact that the guy probably didn't know the situation was that serious. (A lot of people still think anyone who commit suicide becos of a breakup is just being silly). It's easy to dismiss talks about suicide in such situations. While I understand the fact that being proactive might have saved d life of many people who commit suicide. We can't always put the blame on people for what they did or didn't do. (Heck! There might be someone suffering from depression right next to you and u'd not even know)The deed is done already. |
brainbox80:My calculations might not be correct. It's only based on the claims that she was 7 when she tarted acting. She looked Seven or thereabout in the movie too anyways. Bottom line is that final line...whether she's 17, 20 or even 30..it's her life and there's no point in taking paracetamol over somebody's headache. |
Imo1stson:Yeah you are right..in fact, I did some digging around and found out that the first movie she featured in was released in 2009 she was 7 at the time meaning she should be 17/18 this year. The wiki page was a recent edit. |
Why do people still refer to this girl as a teenager sef. Even her Wikipedia page says she was born in 1997. Modified!! I did some digging around and found out that the first movie she featured in was released in 2009(10 years ago). She was 7 at the time meaning she should be 17or 18 years this year. The wiki page was a recent edit. Anyways teen or not.. her life, her business.. I have mine to mind |
Human beings...u can never satisfy them. The same people shouting why didn't he hire a nany will be the ones shouting that he doesn't take care of his kids cos he is rich if he entrists their care to a nanny. What I don't understand is why you think you have an opinion about someone else's life ![]() |
Visit ur bank..I think it's free |
All these people defending the police what exactly is ur problem sef.... We say something is bad someone is saying if we remove them crime will increase... Are u guys for real?? How many times has the Nigerian police intercepted real criminals. Even if you are carrying contraband, just drop something before they start asking questions and they will be saluting u as boss. I've travelled several times in buses where the driver obviously had no particulars, was overloaded, used no seat belt and a long list of other offences.. all it took to get through every single checkpoint from ife to Ilorin was 50 naira at every check point. The man didn't even have to come down from his vehicle at any point. We all should just stop deceiving ourselves and face the reality that is staring us in the face. |
AutoReportNG:Not at the moment. I could in the near future tho |
AutoReportNG:Okay.. the mods shud he able to do something sha. If not we go manage am like that naani ![]() |
Amazing Scenery..not serene..OP correct ur heading |
tyrone07:Resisting arrest when there is a warrant for it is an offence. Taking a man into custody when no warrant has been issued for it is illegal..u don't just stop a man on the road and rough handle him. There is no civility in that. Basic things like this are the major cause of the problems in this country. Until we learn the law and follow it Nigeria will remain a zoo |
tactius:Nice write-up sir and we get the point. But let's take a minute and sincerely answer this question. Is non payment of tax Nigeria's real problem. Do you sincerely believe that if every single person in Nigeria paid their tax that the excess money won't go straight into some people's pocket instead of doing what the money is meant for. Think about that for a moment and u will see that non-payment of tax is only part of the strings of problem Nigeria has..it's not an excuse for the mediocrity in governance we face everyday. |
It happened to me some weeks ago...but it got rectified the next day...I don't think it's connected to the NBC issue |
Even a baby Geologist knows there is no oil up north...they can explore all they want...maybe they'll find gas...but oil in commercial quantity? Probably in their dreams.. |
greatnaija01:U even have time oo...in fact, you overanalyzed the whole issue sef...the last paragraph alone is enough to answer the guy's question...some baby-level sh*t going on in that so called relationship.. |
hopefulLandlord:Ive read ur comments sir...and I can't but say that u haven't been objective in ur judgement here. It is important when commenting on issues like this not to allow emotions be ur guide. Instead deal with facts. First it seems the man was already dead before he was discovered. (If this report is anything to go by). So to ur question..what would Jesus do. I'd say Jesus would raise the man..(based on what we know about him). But what would I do if I am a Christlike Nigerian who can't raise the dead... I will most likely walk away or at best call the authorities if I had a number to call.. because let's face it no one wants to be caught with a dead doe in Nigeria.. the headline next morning would be Yoruba man caught trying to harvest the skull of a dead man... I agree many religious people are Hippocratic...we all know that..but to use a completely unrelated issue to make a point is kindda wrong. |
franchasng:Now this is BS..if my hardcopy Bible works so will my d one installed on my phone...unless u are saying the devil is scared of the paper and not what is written on it |
Forreellinc:Yeah...but you actually need to be smart to know when to shut up. In fact it makes all the difference between wisdom and stupidity |
