Eko Ile: This is the same state where the main source of portable water supply is borehole

This is the same state where learning environment for schools kids remains old and sub par with zero investment in modern schools and learning facilities..

This is the same state where hospitals are 50 years.....

This man is obviously obsessed with ego projects and his own personal fancies and not his people's basic needs.

N70 billion and still unfinished Tropicana is a money pit.. N70 billion is more than enough to build many new schools, hospitals, skills and acquisition center and general manpower development.

The $45 million he spent on his private jet is more than enough to provide the above stated basic needs and amenities..

The still unfinished stadium has gulped tens of billions of Naira with no end in sight

The still unfinished airport has gulped tens of billions with of Naira with no end in sight.

The above is notoriously termed tying money down, meaning unproductive investment, meaning wasted money that's of no use to the people, money than can not provide essential and basic amenities.

These projects are nothing but obsolete personal monuments created to serve and stroke just one man's ego.

This is just too sad and unfortunate..

sorry

You never speak intelligently or originally here. Only merely consumed with jingoist and sectional talk - often in response to what others have said. Sad chap. Get a life.

I think when some of you talk, you do not not realise your utterance will be archived such that intelligent posters can quickly form an opinion about your persona here. Give up the fake show. You are not a friend of good governance. You are a clannish and hateful clown. Imagine, all your post are entirely sectional and devoted to stalking other Nairalanders or attempting to discredit Fashola. Not even a single intelligent or productive post from you. Never an opinion driven by your own free will. Almost everything you have submitted is a response quoting what others have said. You don't appear to have your own original opinion to contribute. Look, sad hater, there is nothing for you here. Don't you see all your co-travellers from the first page have all run away? It is obviously because everyone now has a better understanding of the efforts of Amosun in the health sector to know the original article was not objective or comprehensive.

Also, you are an olodo who has not 'tweaked' what is obvious. The complainant makes a big show of saying "free" healthcare is not really free. Let us analyse that statement. Free healthcare is only available for children under age 5 and elderly folks over age 70. These two groups will likely be 20% of the population or less. Clearly, this discredits the complainant and this is why your co-travellers in hate from page one have now all disappeared to include OP who has abandoned his own thread. This is Nigeria and there will always be ways for disgruntled and hateful elements to find 'dirt', imaginary or real, about others they dislike. Yet the facts will always dislodge mischief.

English, maths and insults , and still no proof ! mschwee
people have deserted the thread and you think it's because they satisfied with your explanations ? Don't you feel they just bored watching your stupidity and hence decided to switch to something better .

Illiterate. As usual it is automatically about talking of Akwa Ibom when anything SW is mentioned. Is everyone from the SE/SS now from Akwa Ibom? In the desperation to always beef the SW and her administrators you insecure, clannish inferior-minded cretins no longer talk about anything other than Akwa Ibom. Pathetic clowns. As for the topic itself. I think folks are now far more educated about Amosun's efforts in the healthcare sector to know the article you ALUU cretins were dancing Azonto over is neither objective nor comprehensive.

The topic of the thread is about the NMA Ogun state telling the world the governor was lying about the free health care which he promised the citizens and you have spent three pages posting pictures of various "world class" schools, "massive" road construction and "high quality" bridge .

Please stop being a fool! Stick to the topic and prove that the statement is false. Don't you realize you have been talking to only yourself and your colleagues in the office (ACN e-warriors) except for Eko Ile who on suspension for being unable to defend the Lagos schools.

These dont work especially where people are enlightened. It only works in villages and among bigots - and only if your target is SE. But is anybody targeting SE in 2015? It will be a waste of time to do this. Target should be north and West - and for the good people of south west, all they want is a credible person as leader - religion is not important here.

For SE and SE, we only need to ensure no rigging happens there. We will bring the whole world down to SS and SE to monitor election there. People from SE and SS are also free to monitor elections in other parts of the country.

Listen to yourself! You call people bigots yet your zoning the offices across different zones. If your not a bigot and feel religious and ethnic sentiments do not matter, you should be bold enough to pick two CREDIBLE people from the same zones, even the same village .

My friend stop being worked up and emotional unnecessarily. Re-read my post with an open mind. That you pay/intend to pay your tax is not the issue here. The issue here is over-stretching of educational infrastructures in Lagos state. Even if Fashola builds a school in Lagos every other day, this problem will still be there. And, if we are to flow with your line of reasoning, are you saying it's okay for the entire 170 million Nigerians to migrate to 'tiny Lagos' as long as they all are going to pay their taxes? No, my friend, it doesn't work like that. Go to top US, UK, China and other developed cities and you will see that one major common problem they all have is, how to control rural-urban migration. I have no problem with every one migrating to Lagos but I'd rather want every town, city and village in Nigeria to be developed. My one kobo. wink

enough said , where are the schools he has been building with 499billion for over 14 years.
It seems your missing the point , the schools aren't just over stretched , they have been totally neglected. Show us World class schools that have had their facilities stretched ?

You'll be shocked that more than 50% of those kids in the pictures above are Igbos and other non-Yorubas( this is a fact). This is what we are talking about regarding population explosion in Lagos. As I'm typing, thousands of family are entering Lagos from the villages especially outside SW thereby over-stretching the educational infrastructures in Lagos state.

And what can Fashola do than to accept and cater for them by continue to build new modern schools and facilities as shown by Eko-Ile in order to accommodate them all as they are leaders of tomorrow. Afterall, they are Nigerians.

Another factor is that of scarcity of land in Lagos unlike other states. Hence the reason why most old schools are been demolished for new ones.

What exactly have we not seen come on board to show that this man is a doer who plans, informs the public of his plans and delivers what he has promised? The promised model schools are being constructed, O-meals is ensuring children have balanced and protein rich diet for growth and physical/mental development and the Opon Imo tablets are being delivered. As you can see,
Fashola has more responsibility in education than the entire federal government plus PDP states combined.
To add to the insult, most of the students are not even indigens of Lagos state and many are not from the southwest .
Many folks run from their run down villages to come and enjoy basic social services in the SW and the OP should have done his homework before putting up pictures that does not represent the true state of the schools or location.neither does he show the effort being out to get hold of the arbitrary way in which people abuse the regulations of Lagos state .
I believe that the Lagos state government is keyed into social networks like nairaland.
If you want to criticise ,go ahead and show truly abandoned schools and projects .it generate a response from a good administration like fashola's.
There are more government school alimosho LCDA than in the entire akwa iboms state(which shares about the same lvl of revenue as Lagos state) .
What fashola has done with the budget handicap that he has is nothing short of a miracle.

And to even think that some people actually believe that the above pictures is all a government did in the area of water supply, shows how intellectually low they are because even the pictures clearly states mini-water works by direct labour.
