Politics › Re: Why Does Gen Babaginda Stays Indoor? by Ttalk: 3:47am On Sep 30, 2024
aviona:
Aside being a former 'military president', he has always been a very reserved, and private person. I watched him in an interview sometimes ago with Trust Tv at his residence in Minna, where he was asked a similar question.
He calmly responded, informing the interviewer, that this has always been his lifestyle even before and after his military career, that put him in such limelight in the past.

To answer your question directly, IBB has always been a very smart, intelligent and rather introverted individual, who talks less, comfortable being alone or with very few close friends, his four children and grand children. Before and after the death of his only wife, Maryam in December 2009, he has always been reserved.
Since August 1993, when he was just 52 years old, and handed over power to late Chief Ernest Shonekan, he has never intentionally put himself or his family in limelight within or outside Nigeria. So, unlike some other past leaders, that like to be always talked about, seen, and heard; IBB at age 83 years today - any supposed illness due to age, has nothing to do with his respected and reserved lifestyle.
See lamba raised to power ten abi na ignorance make we call this one.

Person that was humbled twice as PDP presidential candidate is someone you claim don't want to come to limelight.

You lots claimed he is a first-class accountant who built Lagos State from scratch and would replicate the Lagos template all over Nigeria. We are seeing and feeling it already. So my opinion is immaterial.
Then you are not an opposition but a hater an attribute of many Obidients here.

Tinubu's performance or non performance is an opportunity for the opposition to win electorate to there side, but what we see is herd mentality of crude and vulgar language with empty brain from many Obidients on SM.

That's not a genuine way to support your candidate rather a remarketing and wrong approach.

Thank you you didn't abuse me tonight. Have a nice sleep

The election is long over, and when the election is over, governance begins. Tinubu is president. We are suffering the effects of his calamitous economic policies.

Peter Obi is a private citizen going about his personal business. Leave him alone and face Tinubu.
Alright, make suggestions of what you think Tinubu should do.

I've criticised him for his failure to reform NNPCL and sack Kyari for failure to make refinery work despite his promised.

The wasteful spending of the executives should be curb and the President should live by example.

The dubious budget template that the figures are always increased with same items should be completely overhauled.

Let hear what area you feel the government should perform

Stop talking all these things personal. Have you have emcounter with Peter Obi before? Do you know him beyond media package.

Some things don't deserve dragging. If your Obi is not elected president should mean you should become a sad man.

I've never seen a positive comment from you before. It is sickening

You can't compare a PhD holder with someone that was discovered to be a guinea pig student used to test run federal government college Las Vegas four years before it was founded only to emerge from nowhere claiming to have graduated with first class in accounting. A first-class accountant that is not a member of a professional accounting body both home and abroad
The difference is like day and night.
Ofunafu, today is Sunday rest and stop hating on your president

IfnobeGod20:
You guys are mistaken someone want to cease power and control the macenery of government to someone showing gratitude to another for helping him to attain a height. These are two different issues and you must first understand that, if not your judgement will be totally misfit.
Jonathan or his wife never exert authority to wanting to control Wike or Rivers structure. Jonathan's family helped Wike and they allowed him to have control of the state without interference. He was in control of everything and you will never see him taking no for an answer, he was everywhere and no one dare talk when he is talking, no one dare says he has an idea where Wike is sharing his. Videos abound of his vituperation against people, how he molested and ridiculed people, even the royal fathers. Even Tinubu that has such grip in Lagos has never descended low to have public show and altercation with his subjects. I have not seen him once but a man, Wike that want to be like him has shown in many instances Hitler's high-handedness in all variables.
I have heard SIM publicly saying he will ever respect Wike as he was part of those that helped him to be governor and he will always give him his dues. But do you know what, Wike isn't comfortable with that, he wants to play god in Rivers State, to be seen as the alpha and the omega of Rivers State.
Hence, your chosen word is in variance with what Wike wanted. He want things beyond gratitude but want to be omnipresent and omnipotent of Rivers State.
In all things Wike fight is for selfish end. You have completed your full 8 years and you helped someone you trusted to be governor. I think wisdom demands that he should have given full chance to exhibit his authority than been dictated to by him. To me and to many wise men and women in the world, that Wike's action makes no iota of sense.
Your point is very matured despite having different opinion. How I wish the Obidient touts can learn from you rather than the irritating curse and abuse they throw around

Their only dignity and honor lies in their stomach, deception and wickedness.

It's very paunful i'm from there but fortunately i have no single trait of their behavior and habits.

Just like Nasrallah and the Iranian president that you lots were here cheering on and claiming they will destroy Israel 🇮🇱. You saw how they were killed like chickens.

That’s how Wike’s fall will be.
The hate in you people's heart can better be imagined.

Why will you want an individual to fail when the person have nothing to do with you?

Did Wike steals your money or your land to deserve this hatred from an intruder like you.

Simon Ekpa and IPOB who imposed sit at home and senseless killing of your brother doesn't attract the kind of hatred you dish to outsiders, this is sadist manifestation of quasi African jew

Can you please explain how this lame question is relevant to the FACT that whiskey-drinking Wike has failed to improve water supply in the federal capital territory of our great nation?
Are you asking this because your own state has water flowing in every building of the cities and towns? Or your state's leaders in the HoA and the governors are grossly incompetent dullards in this basic utility for the 21st century?
Should it bother a sensible person that Wike's failure to employ workers for this common utility is depsite Tinubu giving him TSA exemption?

When are you going for deliverance from your mental slavery psychosishuh
This epistle just to escape from moral burden of admitting the incompetent leader from your state.

Wike is from Rivers im from Lagos
Mention your state and lets see if it's development is up to a local government in my state

Facts speak louder than words.
Compare him to Cardi b.

He stabilize our currency at 650, he aided alot of agency/non-governmental organization, helped in the funding of muti-Trillion naira private company e.g Dangote refinery, BUA refinery, Innonce Vehicles, Dangote mills, Trader monies, Access bank equity, Fertilizer funding, just least to mention.

Bring Cardi B achievement aside banning P2P/ arrest of BDC, stopping Agricultural Aid and increase in VAT/ DEVALUATION of our currency.
Aside these, give me more of his achievement.
Am not here to compare but your point gives you up a novice or probably SM enthusiast.

Nigeria have never had any CBN as worst as Emefiele.

He pushed dollar from 160 to 750 while defending the naira. You can work out the percentage yourself.

He funded Dangote refinery as a venture capitalist or as investor? But why didn't he fund your own company?

I was expecting you to mention anchor borrowers fund that ended in private pockets resultimg in inflation and naira depreciation.
