It is one of the ways to fight terrorism and banditry as well as kidnappings for ransom.
The criminals will now have to bring out all the cash they have stacked in their hideouts, houses, and even in our neighbouring countries like Niger and Chad.
How will they bring it out when the money has already be changed to other currencies

That is what we called playing to the gallery. Simon Ekpa is threatening no election in the SE, your leaders are licking Alhaji Dubai Atiku azz, but you here climbing Kilimanjaro to display your stupidity, why not use this effort to campaign and mobilise your IPOB brothers who are hellbent in sacrificing half of your population as a sacrifice for Biafra project.

A typical chest-beating Obidient with no strategy

Yorubas will unanimously adopt Obi as their 2023 candidate. This is brewing as there is every evidence Tinubu has lost all his major grips. Away from Tinubu's dangerous health and corruption cases, the calculation Jagaban made was wrong. For Kano people to disgrace and reject Tinubu and burn APC in a coffin, there is no hope for Tinubu in APC. Tinubu has been scammed and dumped.
The meeting that looks forward to supporting a southern candidate and sensitizing Yoruba people will take place at different major towns across Yoruba land. Supporting a dying Tinubu will be a political suicide Yorubas won't undertake.
You have damaged your self worth and if any of your people reason the way you do then SE is standing on a long thing.

Why must you conclude in your mind that you need someones validation to become great.

You have surrender presidential electoral victory only to the north endorsement

You don't even believe your efulefu PitObi can win without the approval of Yoruba.

Your slave mentality is disgraceful

Your data is not correct when you do the calculation.

The actual price of rice is $1.05 and not 2.56$ as stated in the data
1.05 x 650 (exchange rate) x 50kg = 34k
The price of rice in Nigeria can be compared to Thailand

Please appreciate what you have. Nigeria and APC have done well with their policy on rice production

Are you sure you're a human being? Do you have a functional brain? Did you grow up with love and family care? I seriously have my reservations!

Of course, normal people will definitely campaign and vote for a lovely character like Peter Obi while wicked souls or those suffering from Stockholm syndrome will choose Tinubu.

Between me, that is concerned about the suffering of Nigerians in the hands of APC and you campaigning for Tinubu, who is evil?

I weep for you and your immediate family because karma will surely visit you!!
Charity begins at home.

You are not concerned about the entire SE on lockdown today because one Simon Ekpa in faraway land decided to punish your arse.

You are not concerned about UGM killing your people like chicken

You are not concerned about entire SE that has turned burial ground

You are not concerned about half of your state that has been submerged in water

You are not concerned about your people that have turned refugees in other parts of the country since SE is hotter than hell

But you are here extending concern when you and your people need it most.

Pity yourself and your people and stop disturbing Nigerian people

I want Obi to win, but I am human and really feel for Bola Ahmed Tinubu as I should feel for my grandfather.

Tinubu has done everything possible to pave way for his Presidency including forcing a retired and tired Head of State back into mainstream politics with the hope that after the man he would take over.

Alas it is time for the take over, but it appears even mother earth is against Tinubu's ambition.

Tinubu is a man without honor who denied his family roots just to show he is an original Eko man.

Please say a word of prayer for him as his lifelong ambition goes down the drain.

May God grant him strength to bear the shocking news of his Presidential disgrace, Amen
But you need prayer more than him. Tinubu is an accomplished person unlike you with no future ambition

IfyBennyomah:
An Open letter to my fellow nairalanders of YORUBA extraction.

You must know that Igbos are naturally peaceful people, I never had issue with any Yoruba person in real life even until now that I write, many of my friends are yoruba both the one I benefit from and the ones that benefit from me, they don't tell us from our homes what tribe to hate or what tribe to love, rather they teach us to love everyone because we are not assured tomorrow happenings.

Peter OBI married from another tribe, Dave umahi is campaigning for tinubu, Chimaroke mama I too so tribalism is not an Igbo thing, matter of fact we only deal with people that tries to sabotage peace after which everybody moves on, you will not even think Igbos and Hausas or whoever fought on that spot the day before.
I'm urging my Igbo brothers on nairaland and social media to be reasonable, to be a president of Nigeria you can't make enemy with a major tribe, especially not a tribe like Igbo with so many powerful and influential people...

You dont have to vote Peter OBI even every Igbo man will not vote peter obi, but don't go about insulting him and his people over politics... When I newly joined nairaland I always said this was going to get to the street, we saw what happened in Alaba last week, I'm still saying it now that the way some yoruba guys are going on social media it will make Igbos start having the feeling that yoruba harbor hate for them, it's a very long walk but when you are there, you are there.

So.. I'm urging y'all to do politics without hate, of course there will be banter here and there but don't degrade a whole tribe, don't malign Peter obi, he is one person igbos don’t joke about, no reasonable Igbo man will enjoy it when you insult Peter OBI and Igbos in general. That's not how tinubu can get vote, you can't flog someone to love or accept you, the love won't come real.

2m should be a fair bargain for OBI. Taking into consideration the supposedly christians votes will also be shared Atiku and even Tinubu's card-carrying APC members who are also Christians.

If he manages to come out with 2m votes from the combine state of kaduna(south) jos, Taraba, benue, and Nasarawa. He should celebrate his popularity
Exactly, when there is real issue debate, you'll see Obidients result to abuse and and then later run away.

It is very rare seeing Obidients making realistic projection about the outcome of 2023 election.

Imagining many of them believes Obi and his LP will get 40% in Lagos. The reality on ground now is that Obi / Atiku will widening the gap between Tinubu and the rest.

In this case 70 % for Tinubu will dealt a great blow to Atiku and Obi

Lol. See my friend.
I dont know how we got here. But this Christians will vote obi political analogy is baseless. Infact anytime i hear someone make that statement, it sound silly.

An adamawa or taraba christains will rather swing to Atiku than Obi. Guy, we are talking of a northern state here. Or have you forgotten.

The only place the religion factor will come into play in all northern state is Nasarawa, benue and plateau state only...

Taraba and adamawa are not neutral Northern state on the edge like the aforementioned. These two are 'almost' core north. Religion has zero influence in the voting pattern there.

Even in Nasarawa, i voted in Nasarawa 2019. The only side where the religion factor will come into place is maybe akwanga and karu side. But when you are talking about Nasarawa town, Nasarawa toto, laminga and the others, no matter how, it is always beween Either APC or PDP. These guys there are not regular undecided voters. Almost 89% of them are core card-carrying members. Election period is like a festive season for them. We campaigned in deep Nasarawa region in 2019. I know what i am saying.
This point corroborates my opinion about this useless talk about religion. Don, you are true political analyst.

I hate noise. How much are you ready to stake on Tinubu and Obi? Which state apart from "maybe" Plateau and Benue would Obi get up to 30% in the north central? Tinubu would clear Kogi and Kwara states convincingly. He would get 40-50% in both Niger and Nasarawa. After Atiku and Obi cancel themselves in Benue, Tinubu may likely win there.

Please tell me how Peter Obi intends to win a region where APC can boast of at least 5 governors plus federal might?

You should be in sexuality section please as you know nothing about politics.
