Constitution won’t change human behavior. Can’t you see our international reputation? Is it the constitution that also tarnished our image or people?

Change starts from within, right from the family. If Nigeria splits today, same leaders who pilot affairs of Nigeria will still be the god fathers in respective countries, so what will the constitution change

Does the constitution address the ills I have listed, or will it address an average Nigeria to rethink? NO!
I don't agree with you. Have you seen any civilian that disobey military barrack rules where there's some level of discipline when to enter barrack, obey guard orders, national anthem and the rest. But every Nigerian breaks such rules elsewhere. That tells your when the rules and institutions are firm, citizen would key into it.

Man would have been living like animals if not for some forms of rules and when you see someone behaves in such manner that shows he hasn't been brought up to behave by rules. Every peaceful society is guided by we'll established institutions but ours is weak because of makers of such laws are not sincere.

Nigeria need it's own constitution drafted by Nigeria people, fundamentals questions need to be address for the country to progress. It's either we have it now or allow things to continue to deteriorate

Now tell me the cost of having a new constitution and I would tell you thousand of dangers for not having one.

Having a change of attitude doesn't stop the country from having new constitution as one cannot replace the other, it can only compliment the other

Nigeria does not need a new constitution at the moment. We need new citizens that can change the course of the country, and constitutional change will be addressed at that point.

The constitution, flag or anthem can change, but the people will always remain the same. Impatience, greed, corruption, fraud…. Will always run in our veins.

The people need to be reorientation in some way that everybody starts appreciating values.

Split the country in 20 parts, same ideology would continue in our division. We genetically and morally polluted!
Seems you don't know what you are saying, how will the new citizen emerge when the nation itself is built on lies, oppression, lopsidedness and injustice.

Human only adapt to his environment as a society with rules and order would make its citizen responsible. When you have a society of weak institutions with nepotism and tribalism as norms, you should expect the people of that society to behave better.

A new constitution will correct the foundational mess and bring about patriotism from the people, as it stands today, even none of your elected representatives is patriotic to Nigeria course, all what everyone is craving for is how to cut his own share and move on

Politics › Re: Tinubu Will Be Shamed For Daring Buhari To A Dirty Fight by Ttalk: 9:11pm On Feb 23, 2022
PrinceOfLagos:
What kind of desperation is these , why would tinubu challenge a sitting president, Muhammadu Buhari, to a dirty fight?

Buhari has achieved what Tinubu has never achieved in his life. Buhari was a military head of state and also a democratically elected president for two fruitful terms...
What has Tinubu achieved politically aside being governor of Lagos and Ex senators?

Tinubu daring Buhari to a dirty fight isn't only an insult to the president but to the entire north and this insult of this magnitude will come with a serious consequences

So for these, I call on all the northerners to ensure Tinubu is seriously dealt with .

Enough is enough
Please don't forget to tell us what your father has achieved in life, if not to bore a bastard son with ibo blood but Yoruba name.

Politics › Re: Will Buhari's Performance Affect Apc's Chances In 2023 Precedential Election by Ttalk: 3:40pm On Feb 22, 2022
Yes

But when you place APC performance in terms of infrastructure by PDP, you would reluctantly choose APC that is id you are rational and not driven by ethnic sentiments.

PDP last 6years was a waste and opportunity lost that may not be seen again in the life of Nigeria

Ok....Let's compare Nnewi and Abeokuta

1) Ifeanyi uba international stadium Nnewi is bigger than what ever you have in Abeokuta and otta combined

2) Nnamdi Azikiwe teaching hospital Nnewi is bigger than your shithole university you have in otta

3) Nnewi international market is far bigger than all the markets you have in SW combined minus Lagos

Don't just go to industries, because na cripple status you da find for Abeokuta abi na Otta
It seems you haven't travel outside your region, am sure your brothers residing in SW would testify that Ota has better infrastructure than Nnewi

So you are saying there is nothing like zoning ?
There's nothing like zoning in Nigeria constitution

There's nothing like zoning in APC constitution

The zoning that exist in PDP constitution was was disobeyed in 2015 when Jonathan contested and fully backed by your people.

The zoning that exist in PDP constitution is between north and south. There is nothing like micro zoning into a particular tribe

Politics › Re: 2023: Tinubu Should Go And Rest, I’ll Vote For Osinbajo – Edwin Clark by Ttalk: 9:00pm On Feb 17, 2022
LegendHero:
Bro the determinant of Tinubu’s fate will be PDP presidential candidate.

If PDP mistakenly fields Atiku on that ticket, I can assure you that you only have two option.

—Vote Tinubu OR abstain from voting.

Also, if Osinbajo gets the ticket and Tinubu fail to work with him, Osinbajo will be roundly defeated by Atiku. The reason is because to win elections you need political structure and people on ground. Osinbajo has non of those and his only structure is the one Tinubu give to him.

Political success is not only about “I love this candidate and will vote him”, you need both financial power and solid political structure backing you.

—The generals backed OBJ in 1999
—2003 OBJ himself is a deity and he played on Atiku to own all the structures
—2007 Yar’adua used Obasanjo structure
—2011 Jonathan used incumbency and OBJ structure
—2015 Buhari used his own structure and that of Tinubu
—2023 won’t be different. If you don’t have people strong on their own like Buhari, then you need solid political base and alliance to win the presidency
I don't know why you guys pushing for Tinubu don't realise that there is always and end to every empire. No matter how you wish, the end of every political carrier who fail to quit the stage when the ovation is loud is disaster.

Tinubu deserves it, he has toiled and laboured for it at the expense of his health, but that doesn't meant others are not entitled to it as well.

When you look at event since 2015, it is obvious that things have not been rosy for Jagaban.

From the cunning maneuver of Saraki to become SP, to the inconclusive declaration of Kogi election election due to the demise of the governorship candidate, to the sudden elevation of Yahaya Bello. Similarly, the removal of Adam Oshiomohle and the defeat of Tinubu candidate in Edo election are all pointer that Tinubu has reached the peak, and any further movement would be on a downward direction.

Again, to suggest that Tinubu would not support Osinbajo in case he won the primary is an idea Tinubu himself can't dream of.

Tinubu has no choice than to work for Osinbajo, as his directive would be vehemently rejected by SW if he attempt that, and that would nail his politically relevance in SW.
Politics › Re: 2023: Tinubu Should Go And Rest, I’ll Vote For Osinbajo – Edwin Clark by Ttalk:
We all know the pendulum is swinging towards Osinbajo. He has a herculean task winning primary but the general election would be much more easier for for him.

Since winning general election would be much of concern to APC faithful and a prerequisite for retaining power, supporting Osinbajo becomes necessary and a bitter pill that must be swallow even to those that support Tinubu or other candidates in APC
