osaxx: "u are politically misinformed...... |
osaxx: what do u mean by south west...lagos i suppose.... lagos belongs to nigeria and not yorubas, thesame way abuja belongs to nigeria and not hausas....the money used to develop lagos came from niger delta....when lagos was a capital.....fashola has done nothing in lagos except for the hibiscus flower he bought from the market and planted in oshodi and CMS. he has not stopped victimizing the masses in lagos, both u and non-yorubas.....all in the name of tinubu says...Though your comment shows that you are clueless, but i will regard it as an oversight and an opinion borne out of self delusion. You mean the pple of Ikeja, Isheri, Isolo, Ikorodu, Badagry, and Ibeju Lekki are all property of FG? Get your facts right, Lagos has been a colony and in existence before the amalgamation of Nigeria, besides most of the development you see in Lagos is done by the then Western region govt. |
ilugunboy: These m0orons jumping around and making it to sound as if 2015 will be a contest between SS/SE vs SW/North simply don't know what they are rambling about...You have spoken my mind, a little analysis of 2011 shows as follows; SS/SE =17m Registered Voters NW/SW =34m Registered Voters This will make it almost impossible for PDP to achieve anything through rigging even if they get 100% from SS/SE. I am equally convinced that APC will win in NE with more voters even if PDP win in NC which is not likely to happen in 2015. PDP and Jonathan is really in big trouble come 2015 with the way things are going |
This is a good development for this our nascent democracy, i hope it will provide healthy competitive and provide people with alternative platform to choose their leader. |
Two good heads are better than one, this is a good news for our democracy. There is a hope for our dear nation now that the progressives are coming together to rescue this battered country. |
frankyychiji: WHERE IS SLOWPOKE WOLE SOYINKA? Looks like somebody somewhere dug up some crave facts about him and shut his slimy mouth with it. Now we can enjoy some fresh air here. What has Soyinka got to do with the topic on ground, if your father is dead, dont you have his obituary pics, mind the way you comment on social media, it exposes the type of upbringing you've got |
Get your fact right, all regions from the South has oil deposit, both onshore and offshore, and mind you alternative energy is being develop across the globe, then you will bath with your oil when China has fully develop their shale energy |
Gabbysky: Don't mind them as if the money used was even from tax payers... Na our oyel money and we in SS and SE are okay with Stella even if she buys a rocket for herself (na we oyel money). The money was not gotten from SW or North in d first place.I believe all region has capacity to become great with or without oil money, if they have capacity to fight corruption and harness their potentials, yet a country with oil deposit as Atlantic is doom if its leadership misappropriate the oil money, Switzerland and Israel are developed countries despite limited resources while countries like Iran, Pakistan and your so called Nigeria are still in slumber despite abundance mineral resources |
PointB: The valiant involved in the counter protest are the true patriots of the this country. They have seen how your shenanigans have robbed the country of performing administrators such as Barth Nnaji and promising one such as Odimegwu; and frankly speaking they have had enough. The patriots are saying enough is enough, and will not stand by and watch another reformer pulled down by cabals and the conglomerate of hateful mobs. Enough of the PHD!Why didn't you stage a protest when to confront the injustice done to Barth Nnaji in his effort to revitalize power sector? |
PointB: Is Melaye and his fellow travelers not seeing the rot in Lagos State concessionary agreement as recently exposed? Why is he and other so-called SW activist engaging in conspiracy of silence on that, but find it easy to campaign against a very hard-working member of the FEC, the most effective Aviation Minister in the past 2 decades. Is is because Fashola and Tinubu are untouchabe, while Stella is an easy prey? When we talk about corruption, some of you guys will come in defense of these individuals that is spreading this virulent disease that has eaten deep into the tattered fabric of this nation, forgetting that the money talk about is taxpayers money. I am sure the road to your village is not tarred not because it hasn't be budgeted for but because somebody has embezzled the money, you probably generated the electricity that powered your computer or phone you're using because someone has diverted the money meant to provide electricity for you, you don't have asses to good health care and qualitative education not because the nation could not afford it but because money meant for these vital amenities has been diverted, nonetheless, all you can think about is to support immorality, corruption and absurdity, you better have a rethink so that the generation of your children will not curse you for taking sides in the name of ethnicity when you ought to come out and condemn this impunity |
You aren't seeing anything yet, Gej would soon buy her private jet for cleansing up the mess in aviation industry |
[b][b][b]Btw; Lagos - Badagry express road is now worser than aviation industry it self. People are suffering/dying there everyday because of your negligence. Are we not suppose to punish those responsible for the bad state of our roads also?
Lagos - Badagry road is a federal road, and your accusation should be directed to appropriate quarter, pls check the fact before and stop misleading |
shymexx: He's going to apologise for this statement as soon as cattle change hands.A weak leader is not one that apologize for his misconduct but the one who lacks the gut to punish and instil discipline when a servant erred |
The way things are going in this country seems to be a planned strategy by an evil mind, where its coming from is not clear, but there seems to be every indication that there is a systematic approach to cripple the country for a determined goal, whoever is behind this does not love this country and i think it is an ambition taken too far and its only government that has the apparatus to unravel the mystery. Why it hasn't is what i dont know, but it point to one thing, political conspiracy at the highest level |
This is a very sad news, what is happening to our aviation industry? May God Almighty console the family of those that lost their lives in this mishap |
i laugh in pigin he he he heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee |
Oga Gej is becoming desperate about this NGF issue, how i wish he can muster same energy toward solving myriad problems bedeviling this country, epileptic power supply, unemployment, insecurity, corruption etc are more important to an average Nigerian than who becomes NGF president, but in his usual manner he gives no damn |
Where did you get your fact from? I'm sure you are not going to mention statistics that emanates from Nigeria, because statistic records from Nigeria has been grossly inaccurate. The point is Christian / Muslim population is difficult to determine in Lagos because of mutual relationship, collaboration, respect tolerance that exist among the religious groups in Lagos |
EasternLeopard: 5 FACTS Y THIS ANALYSIS IS WRONG (1) NE & NW is made up of btw 30%-50% indigenous Xtians. (2) In 2011 only 4million out of d 14million registered voters in d SW voted most of them non-SW. (3) D combined population of Xtian North, SS & SE is more than that of Muslim North & SW.For your information, Nigeria election will no longer b based on christian/muslim sentiments, rather it will be counted based on good leadership, good governance and rule of law. The era of cajoled is gone and an average nigerian knows that good leadership is not in the gene of a particular religion, stop making myopic analysis on NL |
CuntEater: As soon as they settle the Yoruba number one agbero (use your tongue to count your teeth and tell yourself who this person is, i won't call names) the rest of the tribal bigots even the ones in NL would fall into line and so far GEJ would be more than willing to pay any price to remain in Aso rock ..... Nigeria can burn, who cares? If you are student of history you will know that yorubas are not follow-follow, they are ready to dump you the moment they discovered that you are not performing, yes, interest is ultimate, ethnicity is nothing to an average yorubaman, how i wish the rest of the region can reason in this manner |
I agree with this article to a large extent Looking forward to a repeat of 2011 when Nuhu Ribadu was propped up and suddenly thrown under an Ekene bus last minute as Tinubu started courting Buhari The Yoruba man in national politics can sway whichever way the wind blows That is not necessarily a bad thing since that characteristic helped Goodluck in the long run ![]() The candidates should just learn not to rely heavily on them because you never can be sure
......and they are good at voting out bad leader |
Yes, i completely agree with you. Enough of this corruption by the management of NASS, but if the management can operate with impunity where we have over 400 elected representatives, i wonder what's the fate of common man |
