It's the Chinese who mostly commit cyber crime via Vietnam as the laws there are lax and you can get away with crime more easily with a few quids. Chinese are Asian kings. |

luvinhubby: Very likely scenario, but for the 80 arrested so far, there are a possible 8,000 still actively involved in this scam that clean their money through car shipments and another army of 10,000 who will be spurred on to join in by this news. |

You are 20 and want to forfeit schooling for hairdressing, nail fixing and makeover? If you are going to forfeit school for a skill then you should be talking of a knowledge skill that will make you relevant while getting paid in this new age like computer programming, digital content production, industrial or undersea welding etc, you are very young and have time ahead of you, don't settle for less. If you take to programming?coding at 20 and you put your mind to it by the time you're 25 you should be gainfully employed. You can start with python since it's easy to learn and is used in many fields. I'm not looking down on hairdressing, nail fixing and makeover but why settle for less at this early stage of your life when you can easily get more? |

I wish they would do this to every mosque and church in Nigeria and replace them with schools, hospitals, innovation hubs and factories. These are tangible things that can help they country develop, you cannot pray and infrastructures like roads, schools, hospitals will appear. The most religious countries on earth are among the poorest (eg Nigeria, Bangladesh, Haiti). |

While Nigerian cyber criminals are not rated in terms of sophistication and technical knowledge, saying they make up just 1% is not true. By sheer numbers Nigerian cyber crime will always rank in the top 10 if not top 5 of any cyber crime ranking anywhere. What they lack in sophistication they make up for it in numbers, big numbers. Nigerians account for more than 30% of the malicious emails sent worldwide. |

agwom: The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has said the party would win the presidential poll beyond 2023. Speaking on Friday in Abuja, when the APC governors met with the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, Oshiomhole said the party may have internal challenges but that it would surmount them.
Daily Trust gathered from reliable sources at the party’s national secretariat that the meeting was aimed at ironing out several issues affecting the party including the issue of litigations. Our correspondent also learnt that the closed-door meeting also initiated strategies aimed at campaigning vigourously and winning the November 16 governorship elections in Bayelsa and Kogi States. “As it stands, there are many cases in court. Until those cases are resolved, we won’t be able to say for sure where we stand. It is our prayer. Because we believed that a lot of our cases in court have merit. We hope that there will be justice and they are resolved in our favour.”

mibrims: 11 dec 2017, i went to a native doctor somewhere in Enugu to aid my Internet business, Little did I know That the acclaimed babalawo was a 419. I was asked to buy this and that and I did, paid monies totaling to 200k. I was invited into the water that was covered with yello clothes for the rituals. By this time the friends that took me there stayed away. I removed my clothes and followed a man into the water at the instruction of a Voice. ahiboilandgas: How could you hack into a firm mail and divert payment worth hundreds of million of dollars and route money into Nigeria and live large ....u think the firm are so dumb and wouldn't find out or track such huge sums ...u steal 5bn the what they must track u even to the moon.....dumb scammer rot in jail .....tump up for all legitimate hustlers In Romania they stole more than a billion dollars in a year, just a particular group. Read about operation carbanak, a joint Romanian-Russia cyber heist that netted over a billion dollars. If they had wired the money to China it's end of story, the US doesn't return seized funds from crime so China too adopts same. The Scoular company lost $18.5m that was traced to a chinese account but even with FBI warrant and all till date it's gone. It all depends on good planning and co-ordination. |
