Nope, prosecuting Mohammed Yusuf would have strengthened the concept of "due process" in Nigeria and put more faith in our judicial system. This foolishness by the NPF will cost Nigeria more innocent lives:

1. The NPF will kill innocent civilians with greater impunity.
2. Radical groups will plan better, train harder and fight longer next time.

These possibilities are not good for Nigeria.

What has the "due process" prosecution of terrorist leaders like henry okah and Dokubo asari acheived?

1. The NPF still kills people with even greater impunity
2. Militants are ever stronger and keep planning long and sophisticated attacks, even expanding to lagos.
3. The terrorists are walking free today in the name of amnesty.
