FamilyRe: How Can I Free Her From My Bondage by tunai(m): 10:29pm On Dec 22, 2014
You do not love this lady, you are only obsessed with her and that is why you are even blocking other men from marrying her and you know you won't marry her.

Wait till she is forty years old and tell her you won't marry her, then watch her send assassins to your wife or yourself.

This has happened to several men, do not pull down your own family. You should not have gotten this deep before discarding the lady.

I was 29 when I applied in 2012, now (two years after), I am already 31. Though, I was invited for the test and also being optimistic to make it to the next stage. Do I stand a chance of being considered at the final stage with regards to my age?
I believe this age factor should not be a barrier, the requirement in 2012 when we applied says "must not be more than 30yrs by Dec. 2012",otherwise you would nor have been invited for the test at all.

Please how much do they pay their GTs, some of us are already working and would like to know if its worth the stress. Thanks
PropertiesRe: Too High!! 14.5% Interest Rate On Nmrc Loan (nigerian Mortgage Refinancing Comp) by tunai(m): 8:52am On Nov 29, 2014
I also got the same offer letter from Haggai and its 14.5% fixed rate. Well I have accepted the offer because it seems to be the lowest have heard of on this FG scheme, others are offering something way higher.

Fashola is offering 9% but the houses are far too expensive and its even by ballot so you might not even get the house even if you are qualified to.

benik:
This guys are joking with us. i can easily walk into any PMI and request for a mortgage at 17% interest rate. Fed govt should be a one digit interest between 4%-6% and moreover it was never mentioned we were gonna source for the houses ourselves, the impression given was federal government would provide affordable housing for those who applied. 17% interest rate over 20years is far from affordable.
Exactly my point too.its all scam and to add to Jonathan fake achievements.
PropertiesRe: Govt Directs Mortgage Institutions To Process 66,400 Applications by tunai(m): 7:49pm On Oct 20, 2014
Am really discouraged now,I was also told 17% too when i called them today.while okonjo Iweala was shouting one digit interest.

The imperial lady I spoke with also told me there are no built houses by the FG that I have to source for the house myself !

SQLmaster1: Good morning Fellas. I see the moral here is high. I wish everyone success.
I wish also to make some few clarifications: If you know you work and earn at least 160k on a monthly basis, i suggest you have a rethink about stressing for this jab.
The training lasts for 4months and within that period, management earns 40k while specialists earn 80k. After training, no one earns above 160k.
Now, i'm nt tryna cause commotion ; they have a nice working environment and company organization is top notch. But Then again, let's assume you are a banker and earn about 90k during training and 190k after training. Wouldn't it be ridiculous to chase after this jab?

I know some 'wise' fellas would try ta wrangle my neck for this post. But Before you try to cast a stone, make sure you back-up(with concrete ideas)

Good Morning !!
Wow, I guess its time to take a bow.

So sorry for the dead and their families .

As for TB am sure the Lagos state govt can't do anything about him, it will be a forgotten story in 2 weeks time,we will never hear any outcome of the investigations.TB is way to connected in Naija.

I used to live in Ikotun and he has converted the whole street beside his church to his own island, you dare not drive through the street anyhow on Sundays as the area is always filled with at least 3 vans of armed MOPO and when they close on Sundays the armed men will stop motorist coming from ile iwe toward Ikotun and keep passing out only traffic from the street church. Those who live in Ikotun can bear witness .

There was also a plan by the state government sometimes ago to expand the road leading to Ikotun but because the construction will chop off a chunk of TB church and also an oba's palace, the whole plan was suspended.

RIP to the dead

shevon: The Federal Government has instructed primary mortgage inistitutions (PMIs) to process the applications of the over 66,000 Nigerians who applied for the 10,000 Nigerian Mortgage Refinancing Company (NMRC) housing programme.
Addressing journalists in Abuja yesterday, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said “due to the over subscription (for the scheme) a decision has been taken to give all applicants to the lending members of NMRC to share on a pro-rata basis. Lending members of NMRC are expected to have the refinancing window of up to 20 years.”
The initial offer of 10,000 mortgage application was over subscribed by 66,402 Nigerians who showed interest in the home ownership programme of the NMRC.
Okonjo-Iweala directed the 17 PMIs and four commercial banks involved in the mortgage exercise to share the 66,402 applications among themselves and prequalify those who meet the criteria for accessing mortgage facilities under the NMRC initiative and get back to the government in eight weeks.
According to her, President Goodluck Jonathan is monitoring the implementation process and assured both mortgage institutions and applicants that there is enough money to fund the 66,000 applications for now.
Applications for the 10,000 housing programme under the NMRC closed on the 5th of this month this year with 66,402 applications received from “exceedingly excited Nigerians with applications coming from the 36 states and the FCT”.
She said 63 per cent of the applicants were male while 37 per cent were female. She said people “tend to apply individually as 89 per cent applied in their own names while only 11 per cent were joint applicants as couples.”
Those in the 31-40 years age bracket submitted the highest number of applications suggesting interest among the actively working group of Nigerians.
Nigerians she said “showed that we prefer three bedroom flats/houses, with 62.7 per cent of applicants applying to acquire this property type. 32 per cent wanted two bed flats and a small percentage applied for one bedroom flats and one bedroom self-contained flats.”
The programme she noted is for people who do not own a home, and from the information given by the applicants, “96 per cent of applicants are living in rented houses; most people (51 per cent) applied for buildings in Abuja with 18 per cent of applicants opting for Lagos. 92 per cent of the applicants have stable jobs while eight per cent are self employed.”
Already, mortgage lenders have pre-qualified some people and asked them to look for their houses. She commended mortgage institutions for keeping to the time they said they will need to use to process applications which is eight weeks and also reducing the criteria for accessing the mortgage from 15 pages of information to just two pages.
The mortgage lenders are expected to sift through the applications and analyse and pre-qualify all applicants culminating in the amounts each lender is willing to advance to the applicant.

So why don't they list the 17 primary mortgage institutes that are instructed to prequalify applicant so one can follow up

shevon: You would have to seek out a house within Oshodi-Isolo when you application is approved. The FG do not have any building they are selling, they will assist with the purchase after you have made your 20% (of value of the property of your choice) available.
Oh I was thinking the the estates are already built and what one just have to do is to access the mortgage, pay equity and pack in, just like the Lagos homes by Fashola.

I also applied and I was fortunate to be among the first 5000 that applied, and during this period there were only 14 pilot states available so I had to select Ogun state(mowe- Ibafo axis) , then later other states including Lagos was enlisted.

I have a strong feeling I will be considered but my concern is that will it be possible to change back to Lagos state since I work in Lagos?

Can anyone answer this.

A beg make everybody just put their minds at rest jare,at most they will take 20 management trainees and may be 10 graduate specialist.
Good luck all

@ op, a lot of advice you already got, but I will advice you based on experience to make proper research on haulage biz before venturing into it, I work with the FMCG and precisely in the haulage section, a reliable truck will cost more than 3M and average earning per truck around 450K monthly, its a bit dicy biz because of the drivers, they will siphon your diesel , use your truck to carry exhibit and make money for themselves while you roast! and coupled with the fact that you will have to pay for local govt emblem depending on the state you operate the truck, also think of possible risks like accidents that could write off the truck.Haulage biz is good if you have the experience and you can afford to buy at least 5 trucks so you can get a haulage contract with a good coy.

Some one said you will make 40K daily and some are inviting you for biz, just be careful man before you get swindled,I lost 1M in 2012 all in the name of picking selfish advice.

You can put your money on Treasury bills and go home and sleep, with the current rate of 9.79% for 91 days, you can make 25K on a monthly average without doing anything, just go to your bank and find out more, you can also visit the TB thread on this forum for more info.

This is my one kobo for you and this is strictly from experience.

I will appreciate any positive advice.
