Lucky PSG...they are the football club with the biggest purchasing power in world football, yet they got the biggest player in the world on a few transfer, without contest, as far as i'm concerned as a gift. This deal is self-sustaining, the sales of Messi's shirts will easily pay Messi's salary( The presence of Messi in PSG will attract the best players to PSG in future. I will not rule out Haaland joing them next year.

The youths that won't go and collect voters card but will spend d whole day on Twitter lamenting bad leadership. The one with voters card will not go out to vote in d name of they will still rig it. A young man will win an election in an unknown party based on his grassroot popularity, then after 2 months in office he will decamp to the ruling party. Desmond Elliot na youth, Abba Kyari na youth, Akin Alabi na youth, amechi was speaker house of assembly at 34yrs old then governor at 42yrs old(he is one of the biggest thieves in nigeria) he used his stolen wealth to bring this incompetent buhari to power, dimeji bankole was not up to 40 as speaker house of reps, Elrufai became FCT minister at 43 and started allocating abuja lands to his wives and kids(even d ones not up to 10years old). The people that will still do campaign songs for Atiku and Tinubu and d other old ones are the same youths. The problem is not age, the problem is the mindset of the peope(young and old)

I dont think so, but confirm what's required of you to pass through Netherlands coming from Nigeria(check with the official website of d airport). Also confirm what's required of you to enter the US (1)coming from Nigeria (2) having passed through Netherlands. These information are generally based on where u are coming from, so check appropriately.

To be honest, I didn’t feel sad after the interview but shocked. It was my first experience at the US embassy and everything went well until he checked back my travel history (in which I gave very clear and honest response). It was as if he made a mistake when he issued the green paper. I came out laughing like someone whose insanity was fresh while trying to figure out where I got it wrong. But, God Dey, I have contacted the school for spring 2022 admission. We no go gree. Lol

You are spot on!

The average monthly salary for my current role in the US is btw 6-7k monthly. That is about N3m in Nigerian currency: my LinkedIn profile couldn’t have been the problem. I detailed my job and employment history (from 2009 till date- my past employers, role and responsibilities ) as it is on my CV and LinkedIn while completing my DS 160:

Recently, my current employer was quoted on NSE and my name was submitted to the capital market through the equity firm. So, if he had googled my name, he would have found very interesting stuffs about my profile.

But, I guess yesterday was not just my day. I am going to reapply.
U are correct, maybe yesterday wasn't just ur day. I also think u should reapply and make/sway the VO to pay attention while u detail ur travel history if asked again. U said he asked first, then he came back to it again to be sure about ur response.
About ur current role being 6-7k, even if that much experience was garnered in the US, ur profile looks like a six figure sumtin..loool. I wish u all d best on ur next attempt

VISA DENIED - Abuja 9am 02 Aug 2021

Gurus in the house, I really need your advice and help here.

Course of Study: MBA
School: Suffolk University
Fee: 71k
Funding: 23k Fellowship
Balance: 40kplus
Resumption / Class Start Date: Sept 07

VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning Sir
VO: Fine thank you. Is this your first time of applying for a US VISA?
Me: Yes
VO: What is your program of study?
ME: Master of Business Administration. It's a dual concentration with specialization in general mgt and business analytics
VO: Have you ever travelled out of the country before?
Me: Yes, I went to South Africa in 2014.
VO: What was the purpose of your visit. Vacation?
Me: No, It was an official trip. I was recognized by my former company (Bleep bank) for mitigating fraud and went for an award and recognition ceremony
VO: Fraud, Nice - So what is your current role where you presently work?
ME: I am the Head of Customer Experience
VO: Nice: Customer Experience. So who is sponsoring your education?
Me: My Father
VO: What does he do?
ME: He is a real estate investor. Also, work as a contractor on the ongoing Dangote refinery project and owns properties currently on rental income from banks.
VO: So, what city is Suffolk University?
ME: Boston in boston massachusetts.
VO: What year did you say to travelled out of the country again? He was typing fast and guess looking at my form
ME: In the year 2014.
V0: Brought out the green form. I was really surprised because the interview was quite smooth.

Observations:

On my DS 160, where it was asked if i had travelled before in the last 5years, I said No. During the interview, the VO asked if i have travelled before - He didnt mention 5yrs, so i said YES. This question was repeated twice and my response what yes. Travelled to SA and the rest of the story. I think maybe he felt i was lying. Could this be the reason?

My Background:
Age - 36yrs
work experience : 10yrs
Current role: Head, Customer experience
Monthly income: 800k plus
Marital status: Married
Bsc: Business Admin
Grad: 2.1
year of grad: 2009
Your responses and profile not bad. Like you pointed, looks like it has to do with misunderstanding or incorrect response to the "have u travelled out the country" question.

Omo this interview looks smooth from my own end oh, but then just as you pointed out, maybe next time you can specify to the VO that you filled NO because your travel wasn't in the Last 5 Yrs as was asked on the DS-form, Secondly I want to believe your online footprints on Twitter, FB etc are decent, You no be E-hoodlum way de Chuck mouth for ever controversial matter..Lool..so that your denial isn't as a result of things they don't like during there background check because sometimes I feel these decisions may be made before your actual appearance due to what they may have discovered, my only advice is that you should give it a second try, your profile looks supperb. And if possible try and be specific with the exact thing your Dad does with Dangote not just contract.
U r right about social media activity. People should be sure what they are filling or saying is consistent with what they have on LinkedIn and Twitter or whatever media handle they have dropped. Also maintain neutrality or at least be seen as tolerant of others position n opinion, especially on sensitive issues like sexual orientation n d rest...if you want to keep judging n crucifying others, don't drop the handle involved

The abundant gas is free for them ?
Who will be covering for the cost of the research ?
This is a public school with little to no funding for research.
There are cheaper means of generating power for low power-consuming appliances. If they have been comfortably paying PHCN bill to the tune of 50million naira monthly, then generating power for the university through renewable means should not be sumtin they cannot afford or afford to raise money for.

Wow just like that?
Yes sir nothing stops unilag from manufacturing their solar panels n at least take the low consumption devices off national grid. We are not saying they should establish a 50MegaWatt power generation plant. Just use scaled down processes to create alternative for the university. And this is not just unilag, universities generally, especially the 1st generation ones that have received lots of financial support over the years.

The first thing that came to my mind...the people working in power generating companies are supposed to be products of universities, why can't the teachers that taught them generate electricity for the university
