First of all, I assume you mean big girls to be women over the age of 30.

I find it very amusing that men would sit and found theories on assumptions they coin all on their own

I guess I fall into the big girl category since I'm over 30 and unmarried. I can tell you for a fact that most single ladies of that age tend to be very willing to sacrifice if only a guy would step up. Unfortunately, most of the guys are busy chasing younger ladies. Why? They are easier to maintain and easier on their egos. Most men are intimidated by a successful working woman and most just assume she won't be submissive. I think guys are just trying to cover up their lack of confidence. It can be demoralising to have a woman earning more than a guy (for the guy). No matter how humble the woman is, the man will still be insecure. Fact.

What we need is real men not boys.

While I agree with u that people shouldn't listen so much to Oprah, I take exception to d sweeping statement that single mothers breed prostitutes, rapists etc. I am a single mother but not by choice. At least in nigeria most single mothers are that way due to being dealt with by guys. My daughter I commited to God from day 1 and I have determined that she will be raised in the way of God.
As for Oprah, all I can say is that it would be foolish anyway to follow anyone who is not following God. Same goes for Dr Phil, Jerry Springer, etc

It's clearly stated in the bible, speaking in tongues is a private thing, meant to edify oneself. If it is done publicly,there should be an interpreter, whereby it becomes prophesying. The fact that something else is going on in most churches doesn't mean it's right.
Whatever you say or however you say it when you're before your Father in secret is of no concern to anyone!

I went thru d book out of curiosity and the little I read was written in error. A number of verses of the bible were quoted out of context and some of the statements had no real basis, not even in the bible. Let us guard ourselves againt wrong teachings

Hi, I'm also a single mum, my girl is 2+ years and is a real drama queen, a huge bundle of fun. The dad was not there right from her birth and the only way I've been able to cope is by surrendering all to God. It's still not easy and I'm wondering how I'll tell her the truth when the time comes without blacklisting the guy: you know the saying, 'if you have nothing good to say then say nothing'? well i have 'nothing' to say about the dad!
But my testimony is that God has given me a wonderful and gifted little girl who will definitely affect her generation (the gifts are already manifesting). If your girl understands that you love her, she will only be mildly curious about who contributed the sperm to her existence. It's only if she's not getting any affection that she'll wonder if she could have gotten it from her dad were he around.
