Salientsinmi: Good afternoon everyone… Has anyone tried to assess ICAN or CIMA certificate with Australia for migration? I am planning to use either my ICAN or CIMA certificate see what point I can get. I have experience in both finance and data analytics but no official and recognized qualifications in data analytics, just finance.
I am looking for the best possible route I can take for skilled worker of 6+ years of experience.
I would appreciate any help I can get. You cannot assess ICAN or CIMA without a relevant qualification. WHich occupation do you want to assess and wht qualifications do you have? |

DanZO17: Good evening everyone. Pls im a Nigerian Radiographer due to end internship this month. I’d love to relocate to Australia but I’d love to ask the wonderful health workers here something. Do I need to write exams? And is my one year of internship sufficient to relocate? Would a budget of 10-15m also be enough? Thanks. Radiography is a hot cake occupation however you need at least 2-3 years experience post internship to assess. You cannot assess yet since you don't have independent practice. All the details are here https://asmirt.org/overseas-assessments/ |

modskiller: Hello all,
Does anyone if someone who’s a practicing psychiatrict nurse in Nigeria can apply
If yes, how best can one go about it and what are the requirements
All inputs will be highly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏 Yes if you have a Bsc, however assessing as a Nurse would require you have a nursing registration first. And that's a long and expensive process especially if you practice in Nigeria. Are you married? If yes, what does your spouse do? |

Manweysabi: Good day guys,
Please has anyone here with Bsc Economics migration via the Skill migration PR route?
The last time I did assessment with Vetssess, I got a negative assessment.
Citing my bachelors in Economics as equivalent to the associate degree. Oh sorry about that! It has been established here in part 1 and 2 that not all Nigerian bachelors are considered Bachelors for Australia migration purposes. A few people have been nominated for Economist however they either have a Masters or graduated from a tier 1 university. |

How do I start pls?
Thanks you All You need an Australian registration before you can apply for a skilled visa. Your other option is to write the AMC and then use that to look for employers specifically in regional areas who can sponsor you on 482 visa. Are you a Head of department? Are you married? If yes, what does your spouse do for work? |

Kenny4smart: Hi everyone, just a quick one please 🙏
I submitted a PhD application to the University of Sydney from the UK. The admissions team has now requested additional documents, including the completion of the GS Assessment form and evidence of financial capacity, such as bank statements or a savings certificate for either myself or my sponsor before my application can be processed.
Has anyone experienced being asked for financial documents at the application stage? I was under the impression that these are usually required only at the time of CoE issuance or visa application. Yes they are asked at this stage. The school needs to know you are capable before extending the admission to you. |

Shofat4real: I have been working in RCC construction for 8 years. Do I stand a chance to qualify for Subclass 189? You do not qualify because EKSU is a tier 2 uni and a 4 year course from there will not be positively assessed by the Australian accounting bodies without an MSc in Accounting or ACCA. ICAN MAY also fly. Also, the occupation has limited chance. |

Gotocourt: Am a Surveyor, Australia is my first choice. GCA was liquidated August 2025, ISNSW was appointed in November 2025 as the assessing body but it's yet to be listed in the legislative instrument list which I find tiring 😥. Do you have an idea on how long assessment bodies take to be listed? It doesn't take time but because this is a singular change, it may. Best thing to do is to keep emailing DHA and ISNSW. |

I am also giving Ireland a try, which happens to have both fields in their critical list. I guess I will make a final decision at the outcome of both applications. Why are you not applying directly to Australia for skilled visas 189, 190 and/or 491? |
