Please I am new here and In the process of starting this Australia Journey, I need someone to really put me through, is there a WhatsApp or telegram group that I can join please let me know Firstly I think my husband is the best bet for this application as I heard that the school one goes to matters for Australia Journey He has a BSc in Business administration from 2017 from funab Had MSc Marketing from University of Lagos in February 2021 which makes his work experience he wants to claim to be currently at 3 years and 4 month , it will be 4 year next Year February as I heard Vet access will remove some year during the accessment , I also will like us to be access by vet access
For myself I studied accounting Education finished in 2018
My husband is 33, while I am currently 32
Calculating our score he will be having 65 while I will have 70 However my course needs me to do the Ican or Acca which I don’t currently have Please advise us on what to do and what step to take I will really appreciate which occupation is your spouse assessing? |

Dasini: Grateful for your time and guide. She finished from University of Ado-Ekiti, with Bsc in Accounting Education. From what you stated above, she is qualified.
I feel mine should be Civil Engineering Technologist and not technician. Applying as a Technologists or Design Draftsman is not bad. And if am considered on the basis of PMP, One can start as a Project Coordinator.
So, which of us should apply or can both of us do? Your response will be cherished. She is NOT eligible if it's from UNAD as 4 year course from UNAD is considered an Associate degree and not bachelors. She will need a PGDE to be able to assess. There is no civil engineering technologist on the list. So use the guide to check those occupations and their tasks. |

Dasini: Greetings to all! I am HND graduate in Civil Engineering, I am 43years of age. I finished in 2010. I have been practicing since then, and have worked in different roles as Site Manager, Project Engineer and graduated to Project Manager across various firms. I recently added PMP certification to my profile. I am in Nigeria but my family is in Dubai.
My wife has Bsc in Accounting education and she is currently in Dubai with my kids. She works in a British Private School in Dubai as a Teacher. I am interested in the Australian offer, but needs a guide first, to know my chances and secondly to know how to go about it. I will value a kind response in this respect.
Thank you! \Which uni did your spouse graduate from? that's the sole determinant of her eligiblity to assess as a teacher with AITSL for a Nigerian degree holder You may be able to assess as a civil engineeriing technician or draftsperson or project coordinator. Yoou will not be able to assess as a Construction Project Manager (CPM) because you dont have a degree. CPM requires a bachelor's degree while the ones i mentioned above are level 2 and can fly with HND |

Again, will submitting only employment reference, payslips and TCC suffice? Please educate me. Thank you. you can upload your student copy. WES is for Canada not Australia |

DJMJ: Since you said you do nothing related to civil at work, I will suggest a hard pill for you of you are really determined. First, you have to find a way to practice what is related to your study, give yourself around 3 years plan to do that. VETASSESS will definitely deduct around 2yrs for qualifying. All said and done, this will only be possible if you are under 40years of age. Or you can try the student route Vetassess deduction is 12 months if occupation and qualifications are related. 2 years or more if they are not related |

Abeg oo, what do they mean by you should not have been refused a visa before? Do they mean their Australian visa? Because USA been don show me shege oooo you will have to state all visa you have been refused. They will scrutinise your application which is not a problem but not disclosing past refusal can lead to visa refusal |

blackbriar: Firt you need assement with Engineers Australia.
You need to do a competency Demostartion Report. https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/publications/prepare-your-migration-skills-assessment-application
Sadly, yoiu have a HND, whihc means your AQF level will be AQF level 5. It does not matter. Just do your assessment and get your points.
If you have an MBA or pMP it might be helpful as well.
Start from there and ohh (IELTS or TOEFL) Sometimes HND in Civil Engineering does not need to go through EA. There are over 5 other occupations that you can nominate without going through EA as a Civil engineer. |

Chukdobz20: Thanks for correcting my typo.
I have non IT degree
I have a couple of vendor certifications
I have over all close to 6 years IT work experience from technical support/service desk, network security , network Operations, network administration.
If you apply for assessment via recognition of prior learning. What are my chances of being successful.
I researched the procedure but will be difficult to get the approved format for verifying employment. I have employment letters, payslips, termination letters. But i saw ACS have a format which must be used to verify employment.
I am just confused 😕 You need to have at least 6 years experience in the occupation you are nominating which means it cannot be less. They will deduct all and it will be zero experience. Your companies have to provide reference in any format but it must include the content listed in their own format. Also you need more than just one employment payment evidnece. You need bank statement or pension statement or tax statement for those years. |

What do you advice? I and my spouse are both laboratory scientists.
Will be looking forward to your response Visitor visa to PR? If na so e easy, everyone go don do am. The suffer head no go finish. You both have lucrative occupations and instead of going through skilled visa, you want to go through visitor visa (paying huge amount I presume)....Run as fast as your leg can take you and stick to going through skilled visa |

Solafemsy27: Dear House,
I am interested in the Australian PR program, and I am about to start the process but I would like to know my chances based on my profile:
1. I have 9 years experience in HR across for different organisations. 2. I have an MSc in Management and a BSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Mgt from University of Lagos. 3. I am 35 years. 4. My spouse is 26 years and is currently running BSc in Accounting (UNILAG). She has an OND from Yabatech in Business Admin. 5. A company were I spent 5 years out my 9 years experience shut down last year due To CBN policy on MFBs.
My question is that: how can I prove my experience at the defunct company? Also, is my profile looking good enough for a positive assessment ? Furthermore, what are the chances of being nominated for a 491 visa after assessment? ( I am aware that is the only visa HR advisers are eligible for)
I am eagerly looking forward to feedback from the house. Thanks a lot and may God bless you as you do so. Are both of your degrees from UNilag? Re: Defunct company: provide bank statement, payslips, pension and if you have your tax ID, you can get the statement from the Internal revenue service, also evidence of the policy and the defunct company. perhaps email sent to staff upon winding down the company |
